I have been in healthcare for nearly 16 years and have worked with a lot of surgeons. Dr. Aita is both a talented surgeon but a fantastic person as well. When it came time for me to have my own surgery immediately sought him out. He is the perfect combination of patient & smart. I would recommend him to all of my family and friends. And of course strangers too.

Having issues with my left wrist. Swelling etc. after initial review an X-ray was done. Followed up within a month and an MRI was done, indicating a cyst. Dr. Aita immediately outline our options, including surgery to remove the cyst.

One of the most approachable and professional Dr's I have ever met. Top notch service, have told all who will listen Rothman Orthopedic is the place to go if you ever need to. I am extremely satisfied with the care I was given.

Saw Dr. Aita for a potential rotator cuff injury and he was very detailed in explaining to me what was wrong and what needed to be done. Made sure I didn’t have any questions and provided needed referral to PT and one of his partners as it turned out to be a neck issue.

I have found Dr. Aida and his team, the PA, the Office Manager, and the Medical Assistant, to be extremely professional, attentive, responsive to my medical issues, and both careful and skilled with the intervention that was needed. At my last visit, going well beyond the call of duty, Dr. Aida took the time to think about a current concern I had about my daughter's elbow, looked at her X-ray on file, and confirmed that she needed treatment by the specialist she saw last year. The scheduler then came in to get my daughter the earliest appointment available, only two days away. We unfortunately have to spend a lot of time with specialists in various medical facilities, and I must say Rothman's systems and staff rival the best of them.

Dr. Aita is an outstanding surgeon. Every surgery he performed on my wrists and hand has been perfect. I especially appreciate how clearly he explains all aspects of one’s conditions and the surgical procedures to be performed. He is also kind and caring. Best of all, he spends time with the patient, not the computer.

My visit to Dr. Aita was for an injury to my left hand. He assured me that after reviewing the X-rays that it was a contusion & no fracture was evident. He is such a great doctor who genuinely cares about his patients!! I wouldn’t go to anyone else to address any issues involving my hands/wrists!!

Dr. Aita used to treat my trigger fingers successfully years ago and now I went back to him for my shoulder rotator cuff problems. He is a wonderful doctor, easy to talk to; he listens to you and gives his feedback promptly and explains my conditions in details from my MRI report and film and gives out his options of treatment accordingly. For now I don't have to do surgery for my shoulder but definitely I will come back to him if any problems arising. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs treatment for hand & wrist and shoulder problems. Thank you Dr. Aita

I had carpal tunnel release surgery with Dr Aita 2 weeks ago and have had such a great result and great experience that I've already scheduled surgery for the opposite side as well. Dr Aita did a great job. I Highly recommend him.

I went to Dr. Aita over a year back for my trigger finger and tennis elbow. He was very patient, and listened to my problem. He suggested steroid shots and/or surgery for my trigger finger, and was honest about his suggestion that it is not necessary for my tennis elbow and that it will heal on it's own. I decided to go for surgery but Covid happened, and I did not go back to Dr. Aita until this week. He remembered my condition and convinced me to try the steroid shot. He was very gentle and totally helped diffuse my fear for needles. I would go back to Dr. Aita anytime.

I am a physician and have seen Dr. Aita for 5+ years, for my finger injury, knee pain, shoulder pain, etc and recently for my tendon injury at my wrist. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient oriented and with great bedside manners. He is conservative, thorough and methodical in devising the treatment plan for the patient and not aggressive to recommend surgical procedures unlike other orthopedic surgeons. Fantastic doctor in every area a patient would want a doctor to be. Shows great compassion, listens to every concern you have, answers all questions, and spends time with his patients. Just 2 months out from tendon repair surgery on my elbow, and I am doing and feeling great. I had some concerns,but Dr Aita and his team made this surgery feel like a piece of cake. Dr. Aita performed surgery of my hand to remove a calcified growth. The surgery was successful, with very minimal scarring. The followup care was excellent, even during the COVID-19 pandemic!

Dr Aita (TOG at Rothman Institute)performed complex hand surgery on my mother for a fractured wrist in April of 2019. She was 89 years old at the time of the surgical procedure. His professionalism and expertise put my mother at ease. Throughout the entire preoperative and postoperative period, he kept us informed and explained all of the details regarding her recovery. Knowing that my mother was being treated by Dr Aita made such a difference in the entire experience. I was seen by Dr. Aita due to a triggered left finger and carpals tunnel. Dr. Aita initially gave me steroid injections which only worked for a few months and eventually got worse. I had surgery and I recovered fairly quickly. Dr. Aita always took is time to explained the process and answered all y concerns. The experience was great and I was back to work in less than 2 weeks, best of all pain and numbness is gone!

Eighteen months after I had a devastating injury to my left arm I had a "frozen" elbow. I was stuck at a 90 degree angle. Dr Aita performed a life changing surgery in my arm. It has been 5 months since the surgery. I now have a fully functioning arm that now bends to 140 degrees. That is as close to perfect as any normal arm can be. Dr Aita is a kind man and you always feel safe in his hands.
