Dr. Daniel Witten

I am a new patient to Dr. Witten. He was the only primary care physician I have had in the last 5 years who did an EKG test. Through his diligence, it was discovered that I had a deadly heart condition. He immediately contacted a cardiologist, and I had successful heart surgery that saved my life. I highly recommend Dr. Witten.

Dr. Witten and his team have all been exceptional in the care of my fiancée. To be very honest, due to Dr. Witten’s exceptional skill, he saved my fiancée’s life. Dr. Witten ordered labs, scans, etc Cancer was found and Dr. Witten quickly responded and referred him to an exceptional specialist. He is now cancer free. Dr Witten, who at the time was not our primary, administered the Covid vaccine to my son who has a known history of vaccine reactions. As a mom, to say I was nervous and concerned, is a gross understatement. Everyone at this practice was empathetic and understanding with my concerns. Dr. Witten couldn't have been more informative and he stayed with us during the initial dosage time to be present should there be an anaphylactic reaction. We stayed at the office for an extended period of time and the whole staff would periodically check on us, make a joke or just see if we needed anything. I will forever be grateful to this practice! Surprise medical bills for routine lab work. Dr. Witten was in network for me, the lab inside of his office is in network, yet a routine lab was still sent out of network without notice. The office did not try to help me reduce the bill in any way and mostly seemed annoyed when I called to talk about it. Dr. Witten is an excellent doctor, he is very knowledgeable and listens to you well. He has also been remarkably accepting & helpful to me as a transgender patient, which many other doctors I have encountered are not as respectful about, so I am very glad that Dr. Witten is educated & empathetic enough to actively support LGBTQ patients. Dr. Witten is always kind and makes visits feel comfortable, and he is also very efficient.

He is very friendly and feels just like a family member oddly. I've visited him a few times, but it kind of feels like I've been visiting him my whole life.

The entire staff at 9th Avenue Medical are wonderful people. I would GLADLY welcome any of them into our home. The are very gentle and caring for their Elder patients and are knowledgeable about geriatrics, sports medicine and more. I am a “complex” patient and they are on the ball. They coordinate with the specialists I must see. Dr. Witten was there for me after a traumatic brain injury and said that I would surprise myself and has always been here for me. I am 67 and plan to live to 100 plus. He better stay in practice that long...

Dr Witten was awesome! He is incredibly friendly and made a visit to the doctor's office very enjoyable. He listened to all of my symptoms and thoughts (there was a laundry list) with care and consideration. The entire office was just as friendly and considerate. I left feeling cared for, and also with more knowledge and a clear path for next steps. I will definitely go back if the need arises. I missed my chance to thank Dr Witten before I left, so thank you very much Dr Witten!

Dr. Witten is a great he attended to all of my medical needs was very thorough. Unfortunately it's the front office staff that I can't deal with because they are very rude and not cordial friendly or welcoming at all. After much thought I've decided to go to another provider, as patients such as myself and others deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Exceptionally friendly stuff, great sense of humor, wonderful accommodating style. It feels like home, friendly and compassionate. We love it!

Dr Witten is very friendly and actually listens to what I have to say, instead of assuming. His assistant is very professional and caring. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting area to see him.

Doctor Daniel Witten showed promise as a PCP but quickly became a huge disappointment. He refused to renew an anti-depresssant for no legitimate reason. This is a medication that I have been on for over over 13 years and one that you do not abruptly stop taking. This was incredibly irresponsible, dangerous, and insensitive of Doctor Witten. His office staff can be cold and rude at times. Very unprofessional. I have had great PCP's over the years. Dr Witten is not one of them.

I found Dr. Witten on ZocDoc, as I needed a new PCP after moving to the Denver area. He was very personable, knowledgeable and overall it was a great visit.

I use Dr. Witten for my annual physical. Great staff, very friendly, and a small practice feel where you don't feel like 'just another number'. Dr. Witten is professional and knowledgeable, of course, but a good personality makes all the difference.

Dr Witten Claims to take Tricare insurance and will let you schedule appointments but then cancels your appointments and offered very little explanation through rude staff members.

The doctor and the assistant were really nice and informative. Very smart doctor! I enjoyed his office, everyone was friendly! I will definitely keep going back!

As a 73 years old male patient with several medical issues, I have been treated by several doctors over the last 50 years. I can honestly say that I have never had a more compassionate and caring doctor than Dr. Witten. I first went to Dr. Witten because I needed a PCP who worked closely with a bariatric surgeon and a friend of mine recommended Dr. Witten. The best move I ever made. I am also seen at the Denver VA Hospital and, although those doctors are thorough, they can't beat Dr. Witten.

He is a genuine person who provides logical guidance to his patience. I found him by chance online, gave it a shot, and he's probably been my most memorable and supportive doctor I've had ever. His location also took my insurance, and the check-in with ZocDoc made it a breeze to get in-n-out without a fuss.
