Great doctor!

Dr. Stoop was very knowledgable and listened to what my concerns were at the visit, and was extremely quick at getting prescriptions completed. I would recommend Dr. Stoop.

Dr “Stupid” was the most uncaring & dangerous dr I’ve ever been to! I came to him seeking primary care, I’ve been on low dose Klonipin for over 10 years for anxiety.. Dr Stupid , at the beginning.. said No problem.. to keep me on that .. 6 months later. He started making my refills less each month, finally refused to refill at all!! Luckily I had already changed to a new Provider, who had no problems w my meds.. going off Klonipin cold turkey? Can literally kill a patient!! Later I found out he was being investigated for over prescribing Controlled substances... At my expense.. Awesome doctor! He is honest and caring. Brilliant man. Be honest with him...If you a drug addict, clean yourself up or do not waste his time and please take down you pity party reviews. This man cares for people in need of his expertise. One of the kindest men I have ever met. He is a five star!!!! James and Susanne Canwell

I am so grateful for the staff and to Dr. Stoop at Rockwood Clinic. I am originally from Texas, moved to Colorado with my husband and the military, and now to his hometown with his family. The staff has has welcomed me warmly, and Dr.Stoop really took me on with compassion. I suffer with major back issues and he was very understanding. He helps me with finding the problem and not just push me aside or allow me to become addicted to pain Med as he understands this is my fear. I wholeheartedly trust his staff. His MA Alley, is the sweetest. She does her best to comfort his patients. They are all a wonderful team!! I am so grateful for the staff and to Dr. Stoop at Rockwood Clinic. Dr. Stoop is a very good doctor who really listens to his patients and honestly cares. He is down to earth and during appointments, he isn't sitting on the computer typing the entire time like other doctors I been to. I am lucky to be able to have such a well recommended family doctor.

I didn't feel like this doctor cared or listened at all when I went in. I saw him the first time and we talked about a therapy that he was willing to do, or so he said, after some monitoring on my part. When I came back in after doing the home monitoring over three months it was like he had no idea why I was there and immediately wanted to refer me out for the therapy he originally said he was fine with doing. It felt like he either forgot our previous visit/discussion or he just straight up wanted money for another visit. Either way it was very annoying and a waste of my time. Now I'm at a specialist and they are great. If Dr. stoop didn't want to treat me he should have immediately referred me not told me he would and then change his mind. This is beyond frustrating. If you don't know how to treat something just say it up front. I get a lot of family doctors are not specialist but don't say you will, waste someones time, and then change your mind after they do everything you told them too for three months. Dr. Stoop was on the cutting edge of his craft when I first met him in 1999. He was wonderful with babies and a very insightful person. The Northeastern part of Washington is truly blessed to be so fortunate to have Dr. Stoop, whom could practice anywhere he chooses!

They only doctor I have been to in almost 30 yrs that actually treated me like a human and not just a paycheck. Wish he was accepting new patients with my medical!
