Daniel J Sherwood

Dr Sherwood is my all time favorite doctor but his staff inattentive demeanor and usual long wait times past appointment to be seen has occurred several times. I finally left appointment after not being seen for 30 minutes. My time does not seem important. Have had much better experiences at the Speight Family Clinic in Dickson. As a former Head Nurse of Primary and ER department for 26 years, the staff indifference to my time is hard to continue to endure. Also, having the patient to put arm up on B/P pole to take blood pressure is very inaccurate and inappropriate way to take vitals. Why don’t they just skip b/p if accuracy is not important.

Best doctor I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend

Dr Sherwood is very through, thoughtful and excellent communicator. He explains the issues clearly and succinctly. He takes his time and never seem in a hurry. He treats his patients with a lot of respect .

Love this place they are all great! From the desk to the back every one is very polite and want to make you feel better.

My daughter was seen today by Dr. Sherwood and his staff for a burn. Everyone including the front desk receptionist, the nurses, and the doctor himself were all very friendly, listened to all our health concerns, and were so professional in coming up with a treatment plan. We felt confident when we left that everything was going to be okay.

He was very informative and took the time to listen. In addition to prescribed medicine, he gave me great insight to a natural remedy and where to get it. Also, he wrote the diagnosis on a sheet of paper. I never had a doctor do that; I thought that was pretty unique.

Professional, friendly and explained each step of a procedure before and as it was being performed. He also continued to ask if I was ok repeatedly during the procedure that gave me much comfort. His nurse assisted and was present the entire time.

Everytime I visit Dr. Sherwood, my concerns are addressed and solved. The staff are excellent,friendly,professional,humor included.

Doc Sherwood is excellent. LISTENS to what you have to say, explains the results of lab work in terms you understand & is very down to earth & approachable. He does not PUSH if you are opposed to something. He listens, explains his position & will let you make your own decision based on his medical expertise.

He listens to me, takes time explaining things to me and diagnoses accordingly. Wonderful doctor!!!

This was my first visit to doctor Sherwood's office. I found everybody there to be very nice and helpful. They took the time to listen to me. . A very good experience I would recommend them to anyone.

An amazing PCP!

He was very knowledgeable and helpful with my problem. He had ideas I could take back to my primary Dr and Dermatologist. I felt like he listened and wasn’t in a hurry or rushing me. I felt very comfortable seeing this Dr for the first time! I told him if I still have problems in a few weeks before I can get into my Dermatologist, I would be back, he was very happy to be able to take care of me once more! Thank you Dr!!! Dr Sherwood has been my pcp for about 2 years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. He’s helped me finally get my diabetes under control through proper diet and the right medication. The staff is wonderful and even with the growing practice, I’ve never had a long wait!

Dr Sherwood is the best physician around. Very compassionate and willing to listen.

As always Dr. Sherwood is warm and caring. He really takes the time to answer my questions and and provides me with the information I need. He truly is concerned with my health and well-being.

The Male nurse was the greatest

I appreciate the kind and professional atmosphere, the care and demeanor of the office staff and especially the Physician. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Sherwood is the best Dr. I have ever seen in my life. I would highly recommend to anyone. I'm going to live a longer life because of his help.
