Mr. Daniel Schaffer

I’ve recently moved to Florida. I needed to find a new pain management physician. I am very happy with Florida Pain Care, and all the staff and Dr Schaffer. I received my first set of injections a month ago and it has helped my back pain tremendously. I would recommend this practice to anyone with severe back or neck pain.

I’ve been to the Florida Pain Clinic 3 times. The staff is very warm & professional. Dr. Shaffer is very knowledgeable and accurate. He makes receiving steroid injections more tolerable.

Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Schaffer is amazing. After a year of pain, I left there completely pain free. I was a nurse for 40 years and worked with quite a few anesthesiologist assisting with epidural injections. Believe me, he is one of a kind. He is very calming and his technique was virtually pain free. I recommend him highly. If you’re in pain look no further, Dr. Schaffer is the man!

Staff is always friendly and helpful! Dr Schaffer is great! He treats my husband and myself and we both feel there is no better around!

Dr. Schaffer and his entire staff were very helpful and professional. Dr Schaffer recommended one shot that took away about 75%of my pain. The second injection he recommended took away all of the remaining pain and I have been pain free for the first time in nine months.

The care of Dr Schaffer and his team is wonderful. He listens to your issues and gives multiple ways to help reduce your pain.

This staff is awesome. Dr. Schafer took his time and was very through when talking to me. He explained how the treatment plan could work for me. The first visit I received a very small procedure and was pain free for 12 of the 14 days. Everything is done in his office you don't have to run all over the place for other procedures (if they are necessary). I would highly recommend this practice if you are struggling with knee pain and don't want to take any more drugs and not ready for a knee replacement. I would give them 10 stars if possible. My five visits with Dr Schaffer and his staff have all been very helpful with their concern being for my comfort. Treatments were done without pain. I felt much better since my treatments and I will return as needed. We are blessed to have this pain clinic and Dr Schaffer in Clermont. Thank you.

Office staff are helpful and friendly. The doctors are caring and compassionate. From the patient’s point of view the office is clean, comfortable and runs smoothly. The care they provide is second to none I’ve experienced.

Dr. Shafer is the best!! I’ve been dealing with sciatica for years and he is the first doctor to take his time and explain my condition and plan a course of treatment that let me get my quality of life back.

This office, the staff and Dr Shaffer are all so wonderful to work with. I moved away from the area and still drive a good distance because when you find a good, caring dr you stick with it. He knows my medical history, knows how I react to certain procedures, he listens whenever I see him. And his staff are all so helpful as well, especially Jamie...she always helps out whenever I call. I would recommend Dr Schaffer and his whole staff to anyone in pain. There is minimal pain for the procedure I receive. The entire staff is friendly and appointments are on time and you are not kept waiting. I was recommended by a friend who had been in an automobile accident and could not walk without a walker and neck brace. Dr Shaffer has always explained options of care and helped me so much. When I first visited his office over a year ago, I could hardly walk without terrible pain. I am doing so much better under his care.

I am consistently taken into my appointment promptly. Dr. Schaffer does a remarkable job. He is not only personable, but knowledgeable, skillful and kind. Amazing Physician, Staff and results. After years of severe lower back pain that controlled my life and disposition, I cried when I fixed Thanksgiving Dinner free of pain and without sitting down every five minutes! A true Blessing. Educational, listened to my concerns; Offered options and Effectively handled my condition with very little discomfort. Five Star. Wish I had found them sooner.

So happy I chose Dr. Schaffer to help me with my back issues! I knew I was in good hands from the minute I walked thru the doors! The staff are so welcoming. They make you feel like you’ve been a patient for years! Dr. Shaffer took the time to listen to all of my issues and concerns. I called to set an appointment with Dr Schaffer. I was told I'd have to wait 31/2 weeks. I agreed although I was shocked at the wait time. So I offered my insurance information to confirm that their office was in network for my insurance. The receptionist confirmed that for me. So I waited the long 31/2 weeks. When I arrived having already completed the 11pages of new client paperwork the receptionist took my insurance card and told me they didn't take it. Then she had the nerve to tell me that she remembered that 31/2 weeks ago she told me they didn't take it. An absolute lie. Now I've wasted all this time, I have to start over somewhere else and I'm no further along with this area of my recovery. Dr. Schaffer, has helped me when I could not find pain relief anywhere else. He took his time with me to listen and offered different proceedures that could help. At first we tried injections which helped a lot, but didn't last for me. I decided to do radio frequency ablation on my lumbar and now, 7 weeks later I am still pain free. The proceedure is uncomfortable but not unbearable. You will hurt for a couple of days in the back mussels but then, I'm like a new person. I am doing work and living life that I haven't been able to in over 12 years. I been through several back surgeries and haven't felt this good. I highly recommend Dr. Schaffer at Florida Pain Care. Dr. Schaffer's approach is different and more effective than my former pain doctor. Not sure why but his shots are more specifically targeted (?) - but whatever he did I had more relief, quicker and the staff is awesome - very friendly, accommodating and efficient. Dr. Shaffer and his staff are absolutely amazing. I am 37 years old and I have had six back surgeries. For years I walked with a cane, back brace and even with walker when it was really bad. Nothing helped not even the morphine I was prescribed daily by other doctors for long term use. After my last back surgery I felt pretty good but my surgeon said that I still needed 4 more surgeries after because my back was a complicated case. I started seeing doctor Shaffer when my pain started creeping back because I knew that it was probably time for me to have another surgery which I did not want to live ave. Dr. Shaffer is by far one of the most genuine and caring persons I have ever met. By trade I am a therapist and I've worked in the field of Rehabilitation for well over a decade and I have never encountered a professional such as him. Dr. Shaffer just doesn't want to treat the condition he wants to treat you. He encourages Wellness just not pain relief. There were times where I needed to be seen right away because I threw my back out and they squeezed me in the same day that I called. Any other doctor would have scheduled me weeks later. Or I would have had the gone to the emergency room. But he still made the time to see me even if he had to stay late. Doctors like him rarely exist. Jamie is wonderful and so his entire office staff. I am a returning patient of Dr. Schaffer's (from the Gainesville practice) and returning for a reason. I know that when I walk into his office, I will receive respect and care, not only from Dr. Schaffer but also his staff. He listens, he understands and he works to relieve my pain. Unlike other doctors, he doesn't push pills, but rather offers solutions to the problems.
