Dr. Daniel N Scaff

A couple of years ago, I posted a review on Dr Scaff and his incompetence. (See on Yelp). Long story short, Dr Scaff was my appointed Pediatrician after I delivered at HMH. Since birth to about the age of 4yrs old, my daughter had a couple of life threatening illnesses that Dr Scaff failed to diagnose. Why I'm here is because after 7 years and thanks to Dr Buffen at Children's Optometry Center in Arcadia, my daughter vision has been saved. Dr Scaff told me that her vision 20/20 when in fact it was 20/300... We started patching for 6 hours to years later it improving 1 hr. Today my daughter's vision is 20/20. Bottom line, if you sense something is wrong with your child and any pediatrician tells you otherwise, do not take his/her word for it. Save your child! Please see picture of 7 years ago when Dr Scaff told me nothing was wrong with my daughter's eyesight .. Very warm man.

If I could choose 10 stars, I would. Doctor Scaff is one of the most competent and intelligent men I have got the chance to meet. Fantastic doctor, better person.

Dr. Scaff is one of the best, most compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. Our children have been seeing him since birth, which is nearly 10 years now. He has been there for us through a couple of hospitalizations and countless vaccines, rashes and well checks. I could not ask for a better doctor. In fact, the only thing I’ve ever worried about is what will happen when the kids get too old to see him! We are so spoiled and fortunate. We adore Dr. Scaff. Bonus points because he’s hilarious and makes the parents feel right at home also. Dr. Scaff is one of the best, most compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. We changed this doctor only because we moved to SF area.He is very knowledgeable, attentive and caring. At the office we waited only once and the time was 15 minutes. Dr. Scaff was trying to find a way to make our son feel better during visits. That was really nice of him.I would highly recommend him.
