Very thorough, and great at what he does. Genuinely caring and clear on his diagnosis and treatment. Very interested in my thoughts and opinions and questions.

Visiting Dr Sager as a new patient made me feel hopeless in figuring out what is going on with my health. He didn't seem to take our visit seriously, said to me "you have what you have" and only ordered 3 tests from my bloodwork. No phone call, only a message through MyChart from his nurse (who were lovely) I will seek another opinion.

Dr and staff are exceptional

Dr Sager probably spent more time talking to me than any dr I've ever seen. I felt very listened to.

The office, staff, and the doctor were all wonderful. However, MY regular doctor I see in Goldendale made a mistake in scheduling an appointment here. I was supposed to see a neuropathy (sp?) specialist. I waited 3 months for the appointment here. Now I guess it will be another 3 months. Dr. Sager did examine my foot and ask me questions about the problem I am having.

None bad , Everything has been great coming here.

Always a pleasure

Dr. Sager and his nurses have always been kind, gentle, encouraging, and respectful. Dr. Sager and the nurses listen to my concerns and explain what they are going to do, as they perform a procedure, and follow up care. I've recently had problems with my thumb locking and experienced a lot of pain. It's still healing, but feels so much better. Dr. Sager has been following my progress with Sjogrens and related rheumatoid arthritis for over 20 years. I think the length of time I have trusted Dr. Sager with this part of my health pretty much says it all as far as my faith and confidence in him as one of my doctors.

Dr Sager is an excellent Doctor. He is always informed, positive and very helpful. He is also respectful, kind and understanding. I feel very grateful that he is my doctor and he has helped meA lot.

Dr Sager was a real disappointment this visit, it was like he had never seen me before and he reversed a previous diagnosis and requested I take a test he had previously said I did not need. I asked his advice on a very visible leg injury and he said he couldn't help me. I am planning to establish with a different rheumatologist asap and will not be back.

Dr Seger took the time to listen and understand my issue. He referred me to a specialist for an issue he could not solve. He took extra time to review lab results and made sure I understood. Night recommended.

Best Dr. I have ever had the pleasure of my life. Dr Sager is very patient and understanding with me and can dump things down for a normal person that has a very complicated and rare desorder. I'm forever greatful to be his patient

Rude. And his quick diagnosis of "fibromyalgia" was dead wrong.

I have been seeing Dr. Sager for years. I find him very professional, answers any question I have. He’s to the point, and does not coddle if that’s the kind of Dr. you need !! I live 3 hrs. away and he sees me be even if I’m late.

Dr Sager is an excellent rheumatologist. He's the best in Oregon, IMO.

He is a super nice and great guy! I took my mother to see Dr. Sager because her GP recommended him, the arthritis in her 84 yr old hands was painful and crippling. He had a specific technique for injecting Cortizone for this issue and the results were incredible, she is still completely pain-free four years later

Very unprofessional. He briefly read my chart then said that nothing was wrong with me and I had to stop wasting my doctors’ time. I DO NOT recommended Dr. Sager to anyone, even as him being the only Rheumatologist in Hood River, OR.

Dr. Sager is dismissive and condescending, and overall, I find my visits with him to be frustrating and not at all helpful.

hE HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO ME, SINCE i WAS DIAGNOSED SOME YEARS AGO. ALWAYS WILLING TO LISTEN.

Also did not diagnose my condition correctly which he claimed was not osteoarthritis which it was. This was about three years ago and I ended up going to an orthopedic specialist who diagnosed it immediately as OA and now I had to have a total knee replacement due to it. No I would not recommend him to anyone and he needs to keep political comments to himself.

The best of the best

Dr Sager was immediately brittle and cold. He talked down to us and didn’t listen to our concerns. He seemed to be distracted. Will not return.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sager' s for many years he knows how to take care of all of my issues and he really knows what he is doing

Did not diagnose my condition correctly. Read my lab results to me and sent me on my way. It took an addition 4 months to see a specialist in Portland who immediately diagnosed my condition and took steps to improve my quality of life. The following questions have nothing to do with Dr. Sager's qualifications. I would never recommend anyone to him.

Dr. Sager was very personable and excellent at addressing my health concern and explaining why he chose to treat it the way he was. I have struggled with gout for 15+ years and have had multiple doctors treat me, but he took time to explain the long term issues of gout if left untreated. Dr Sager devoted plenty of time to my office visit. He was intent on determining the nature of my illness and how best to treat the condition. More, he was very knowledgeable and very open minded, and pleasant!
