The only positive part of this experience was the staff that spoke with me on the phone who was polite and friendly. From there it went down. The waiting room was packed and from reading these reviews it’s clear that they over-schedule regularly. We were told to arrive 30 minutes early for paper work which we did. Then they said the doctor was running late and 90 minutes later we were ushered back to a clinical looking room that was very uncomfortable. The appointment was for my child. Dr. Rosner shoved a tool up her nose with very little preamble. He said if anything hurts let me know and I’ll stop. She said it’s hurting and he said: that’s not hurting you and didn’t stop. Then said: yup it’s surgery, have them schedule you at the desk. He didn’t even ask if we had questions. My daughter was crying. We are now going to Charleston to see someone else and I would never recommend seeing this physician. Also the office staff were curt and unhelpful as well.

He was a good surgeon, but that’s it. Most appointments he didn’t even leave the doorway. It was extremely rushed and he never took a second to stop and listen. I’ve had multiple appointments at his office and each time I was met with rude staff. One employee said she called me and was very rude when I told her I received no phone call. After her arguing with me she checked phone records and discovered she had the wrong #. I had issues with appointments because TWICE. I walked in and they said “you don’t have an appointment” when I received confirmation texts (that I responded to confirming). Regarding surgery - it went well. However, I received no information on what to expect. I had things come out of my nose 3 weeks after surgery and when I called to ask what it was he said “that was supposed to happen”. Very poor communication. That experience ruined my trust in him. Overall, I will be finding a new doctor no matter how far the drive.

I had Surgery in 2020. I am having the Latera device removed. After the surgical procedure the Latera device was causing me pain at the bridge of my nose. I questioned Dr. Rosner about the pain and the Latera device he scoffed at me and dismissed the idea. I thought he was rude.

I had appointment for 3:30. Asked me to arrive at 3. Which I did. Waiting area packed (was surprised to see that many patients in waiting, over 12). At 4:20 staff announced they are running behind and if anyone ants to reschedule they could do so. I asked why didn't they tell me that when I checked it at 3 or when they returned my insurance card at 3:15. Receptionist stated we weren't behind then. What Bull....the office closes at 5 and they want to go home. What doctor allows patients to wait over an hour after their appointment and then want them to reschedule?? My time is worth something. I'd die before I'd go back there

Rushed, no explanations & as another patient mentioned, he entered the room speaking for dictation purposes later & not to me. He also stuck the narrow tube down my sinus to my throat which was painful. I am now trying to find out why I am waiting a month for another appointment this all prior to deviated septum surgery.

I was only there to have my ears cleaned of wax, something I had done elsewhere many times before. So as he was cleaning my ears , I was shocked at the level of pain - a pain so intense that it sometimes traveled down to my jaw . But telling him so , did not persuade him to alter his roughness. Almost to tears , I finally said - Stop! I’ve had enough! He showed no concern for how I felt , and actually gave more conversation to what was in his ear than to me . I will never go to him again . I am 82 years old and my caregiver went with me. He just expected me to jump onto a table. I can barely lift my legs, back issues and arthritis. I finally got on the table. He didn’t ask me anything about if I could lay flat on my back. He was very rough, jerked on my neck to turn it. Did not ask me anything. He knew I was in pain with my back. My caregiver told him how she has spasms and she was in pain. Didn’t acknowledge it. No bedside manner. Also I can’t walk very far, there were no wheel chairs for patients. I was exhausted by the time I got to the office, I needed to use the restroom, I was told the office does not have a restroom for patients. She told me to go out of the office and walk way down a hall to use the restroom. There was no way I could do that. What doctor office doesn’t have a restroom for there patients? I would not use this doctor!!! I would give them a 0! That wasn’t offered!

We used Dr. Rosner for my child’s tonsil and adenoid removal. He never spoke to us after the procedure, but a nurse found my mom in the hospital and gave her the rundown and told her all was good. She developed a tonsil bleed and was throwing up blood. Dr. Rosner acknowledged the bleed and said he had other things to do, sent us to the hospital. Thank goodness for Dr. Zimmerman. He fixed the bleed in an emergency surgery, after her secondary bleed had became even worse, because it wasn’t fixed immediately. Would never send another one of my children. Such a scary moment! I made an appointment and arrived about 15 minutes early. The waiting room was completely full, the doctor had not arrived at the practice and the staff suggested I could fill out my forms and wait in the general lobby of the building. I left understanding I already wasted about a two hour commute and did not want to spend another 2 hours waiting to be seen. The staff personnel knew the doctor was late. There's no reason any doctor or his staff, if they run a professional and considerate business, would not contact scheduled patients and inform them of the issue. I could have rescheduled over the phone given the chance to do so. Perhaps the doc had an emergency but the courteous and professional thing to do would have been to communicate it to patients. I can't comment on the quality of service this doctor might provide. However, if it mirrors how he and his staff tend to patient care, I have to give one star. Dr. Rosner in my opinion has mastered the art of sinus surgery. I had sinus surgery 4 years ago with a different doctor and the difference is night and day! I experienced very little pain and I don't have to go back and have the 12 feet of gauze removed after two weeks ????.

Doctor Rosner is a very good doctor. My 5 year old had snoring issues that left him gasping for air nightly and very tired. He took my concerns seriously and came up with a treatment plan that required surgery. He removed his adenoids, tonsils and put tubes in his ear. Procedure was amazingly successful my son slept for the first time in maybe two years soundly and with no gasping. He also had a hearing deficit in both ears. His hearing is normal post surgery and he is a different kid socially. Here is the thing he’s a good, thorough and knowledgeable doctor and he’s nice but not overly mushy????. I trusted him with my sons life and he did exactly what he promised. His entire staff is amazing. ♥️♥️ Matthew Williams Mom♥️♥️ Doctor Rosner is a very good doctor. My experience with Dr. Rosner was an extremely poor one. When he entered the exam room he began talking to me in the third person. I was totally perplexed until I finally realized he was speaking aloud to record on a device attached to his belt for later transcribing. At one point he pushed a lighted tube up into my nose. There was no spray anesthetic nor did he prepare me for what he was going to do. It was painful, I said, “Ow!” and flinched. He appeared perturbed by this and said crossly, “We’ll, if you’d put your head back on the headrest it wouldn’t hurt so much!” I was chastised for experiencing pain! I couldn’t believe it! At this point I just wanted to get out of there! It was like being on an assembly line as he rushed through the exam to hurry me out for the next ‘victim’. His manner was curt and it seemed he’d rather be doing anything but. I will NEVER go back to Dr. Rosner. His bedside manner leaves a LOT to be desired.

I waited as a new patient for two hours in an overcrowded waiting room. When I was finally taken, it was run like an assembly line. The doctor was flitting from room to room and I could not even ask questions because he was running around so much. He gave me medication which did not work and did not ask to see me again. Rude staff, as well. I will not be returning.

I saw Dr. Rosner for the first time recently. It was a quick visit, though I guess it was relatively thorough for the short duration (~5 min) of the appointment. My main complaint, and what led me to bother writing a review, was that he stuck a thin probe/tube device in my nostril and strung it down my nasal passage and into my throat, without any warning! It didn't hurt or anything but it was uncomfortable and caught me off guard and made me squirm. I am a physical therapist who works hands on with patients, and I can't imagine doing something like that without a brief explanation about what I was about to do. Just unprofessional and made me feel weird. The other problem was that I did not receive any diagnosis or explanation for my problem. Just "come back if it gets worse" which is not particularly helpful. Also he was pretty much walking out the door before I got a chance to ask questions. Just frustrating to pay an expensive specialist copay and take the morning out of work for a sub-par experience leaving me without any answers or direction. Went to Dr. Rosner in a near emergency situation with severe and uncontrollable nosebleeds. The ER in North Myrtle Beach referred me to Coastal Carolina Otolaryngology and I was lucky enough to find Dr. Rosner seeing patients that day. This man is a doctor among doctors. I cannot express how impressed I was with his knowledge and expertise. First of all, there were too many patients scheduled at one time. There was standing room only in the waiting room. I felt as if I was herded in and that the Doctor only glanced at my ears and throat. I had to sit in a chair in the lab room to wait for a diagnosis and felt as if he was flippant about the ringing in my ears. More or less, I was told it was not medical and just a nuisance and to turn a TV on at night to help me sleep. The receptionist was the only nice staff member.

Very rude doctor. I would not recommend anyone to him. Moved his office several years ago and my husband had an appointment with him but no one ever called to say he had moved to, they just put a note on the door that he had move. Did a medical proceedure on my husband without consulting with me first , then put him on a floor at GSMC that no nurse knew how to take care of. I stayed with my husband for 24 hours taking care of what he did to him, he later died because of complication from this.
