Never got to see the doctor. I spent 35 minutes being transferred via recorded message trying to make and then cancel an appointment. Try a different method, perhaps a real person might help. Not going try this mess again.

This man should not be practicing medicine. He cares nothing about the patient. I had three visits with him to treat a mallet finger with no improvement. First visit he put my finger in a home made metal splint (cut out of a longer piece) rather than a standard support. Second visit I didn't even see the Dr. One of his staff looked at my finger and then put the metal splint back on. Third visit the Dr did show, looked at my finger while standing over me and said nothing more could be done. Out of complete shock I was speechless. If I could rate him as zero stars I would. An excellent experience. I was running low on hope after having carpel tunnel release surgery on both hands in another city.which left me worse off, all in all. When I went back with a few questions- I was told that I was, after all 75 years old. Umm OK- I still need my hands to continue an active lifestyle. Dr Robertson listened patiently and carefully to my long list of concerns. Uncoordinated, clumsy, unable to grasp or pick up items, pain, stiffness. He was respectful and didn’t seem to feel 75 was a reason to throw me in the junk heap Dr Robinson gave me answers, solutions and hope,. realistic hope. An excellent Doc. He knows hands. No nonsense. No sales pitch - Thank you. Thank you An excellent experience. Went in after being referred by doctor at medi center. Upon arrival they had lost my X-rays( witch I was charged for them to re- do). After waiting in the office for over an hour I was never even seen by Dr. Roberston as he would only send in his assistant. After his assistant came in the first time and told me the doctor would be into see me soon, the assistant then returned a half hour later and told me I would need surgery. This is news I would expect from the doctor to take the time to give. His assistants attitude was very rude, offensive and, aggressive. I felt it was even worse Dr. Robertson never came into to see me, even to say I needed surgery. Just generally disgusted by whole experience.

Zero communication. Zero follow up. Extremely unprofessional behavior and shows a severe lack of concern for his patients' well being. If you have a choice go to ANY other hand specialist.

Never so appalled by service, let alone vital service. Dr. Robertson should be avoided at all cost, literally, pay out of pocket to go elsewhere. DMG is exactly right, no communication, no follow up, and no regard for patient’s well being. Impossible to get in touch with him, staff is extremely unfriendly and even rude at times, and refers to patients as “customers.” Nowhere near the threshold for a medical professional, I wouldn’t let this guy take out my trash he’s that unreliable. I am a retired RN and have worked with many doctors over the years. Dr. Robertson is very odd-on entry into my room to meet me for the first time a week ago he filled his hands with that foamy anti-bacterial soap, and neither rinsed it off nor wiped it off, but came over and shook my hand with his foam filled hand! I had to wipe my hand off on the paper cover on the exam table!! Is he a germaphinic person who felt I might contaminate him when we shook hands?!?! Dr. Robertson has a very flat (dull, obdunded) affect, and he doesn’t seem to be confident about what he’s doing either. He kept saying “welllllll” it could be this or it could be that, yet gave no offer of plan of treatment until I asked. Dr. Robertson does not possess any real communication or care skills. I would not let him treat my dogs. Go anywhere else!! I am a retired RN and have worked with many doctors over the years. Great doctor and an outstanding staff. He’s done two hand surgeries on me in the last month with not one complaint. Highly recommend.

Dr. Robertson has little to no interest in actually seeing his patients after his initial visit. His personality is in the zero to -1 range. I believe his real interest is being the "Surgeon to the Stars". I had total shoulder replacement surgery. I saw Dr. Robertson exactly one time (my initial visit and in the hallway as I arrived at the hospital the morning of Surgery. He did not see me after surgery while I was hospitalized ,or at any time there after. I only saw his assistant.

Dr Robertson was my surgeon for a radio break near the wrist. He had a great bedside manner, was thorough in answering my questions, and genuinely cared. The surgery went smoothly and I would recommend him to anyone for a similar surgery!

Dealing with Barton has been one of the most horrific experiences. I had multiple injuries to my left wrist and dr Robertson said "oh just put it in a brace for a month" without actually know what was even wrong with it. Okay so a month went by and of course it came out of the brace with still a lot of pain. Then his PA ordered a MRI. I waited weeks to hear back from them and even checked in multiple times always getting the answer "were just waiting to hear back from your insurance." Turns out Barton sent the MRI referred TO THE WRONG PLACE. I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR NOTHING. Keep in mind because of my injury I have been out of work for almost TWO MONTHS! No one even cared. And because of their screw up my insurance is declaring the MRI non urgent and that they won't cover it. So now I'm stuck with no MRI, no job, and an injured. Seriously SCREW BARTON. Go anywhere else if possible. Also dr Robertson is unprofessional and DOES NOT care your injury. Dealing with Barton has been one of the most horrific experiences. I actually saw Dr. Robertson in the ER at Barton Memorial Hospital after a fall on the ice. I had a broken wrist. Dr. Robertson was just wonderful. He was able to do a closed reduction to reset the bones in my wrist and didn't push me to have surgery. I've made a complete recovery and feel great!
