Dr. Roberts and his team at Mayo were terrific. Very professional, personal and answered all my many questions with detailed layman’s language, which built a ton of trust! I would highly recommend him.

I just received a promotional email similar to the one described in the previous comment. In it I was horrified to read this: "Most people who live long, healthy lives are just regular folks who refuse to equate age with illness and inactivity." Do Dr Roberts and the Mayo Clinic not know about the relationship between lifespan and race, poverty, and environmental degradation? Or are they just pandering to the belief of their target readers that their being born wiht the right genetic background, race, and socioeconomic status was an accomplishment and not a crapshoot. Either way, shame on them.

I don't know nor have I ever met Dr Roberts. I can't make any comments as to to his medical expertise. What I can speak to is an incredible lack of judgement concerning his association with the marketing of a product for Mayo Clinic. Today I received a package from them offering me a newsletter for $1.97 per copy. This letter will give me information on how to stay healthier and live longer, all for $1.97. This is coming from an institution with 63,000 employees, assets over $17bil, income over $1bil and a NON - PROFIT CORPORATION to boot. All for $1.97 per copy signed by Dr. Daniel L. Roberts M.D. The optics are insane and the sentiment is worse. Why not publish the letter online for the good of all. But NOOOOO, $1.97 per copy must be way to important. I've had two personal interactions with Mayo and I'm sorry to say this is not surprising. Mayo Clinic, the best health care lots of money can buy. (at 1.97 per copy)
