Dr. Daniel B Richmond

The people at Dr. Richmond's office have no idea how to check with insurance companies what gets covered and what doesn't. I came in and asked more than once to ensure that my insurance covers me even stepping foot into the office to which they said they will check and then said yes. They then wanted to do an x-ray on me and again, I asked for them to make sure that my insurance covers it and they checked and said yes. I come back for another appointment and they tell me that I have a bill for $362; just for the doctor to tell me that I need surgery cost me $250 and for the x-ray that gave me no benefit cost me $112. I tried calling and they then blamed me for not knowing my insurance company. I called to confirm, I asked them to check, if they didn't lie to me, I wouldn't even have stepped foot into the office.

Dr. Richmond had been quite helpful and did what he could to repair the knee joint. I did get some relief, but not enough. I seemed to need more and headed back into NYC to my previous surgeon where I just had a Total Knee Replacement. Dr. Richmond encouraged me to follow to that step albeit painful!!

Dr. Richmond is a excellent physician. He explains all of your concerns and the plan of care to treat your injury.

Dr Richmond is a great Orthopedic dr! He took great care of my husband's fractured hand back in 2007 so well that when he injured his knee in 2015 we went back to him.. His staff is amazingly friendly & they do all they can to fit you in when needed. I would highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Richmond really took the time to explain my injury in detail. The surgery was delayed due to seasonal allergies and he recommended that I wait until they cleared up. I am three days out of surgery where he repaired a torn triceps tendon. The man knows his craft and I wold recommend him to anyone in need of an experienced surgeon.
