Daniel Peshka

This physician lacks the temperament and empathy to work in this field. Dr. Peshka does not have the time to answer the questions of the common folk. His follow-up is horrid. He sometimes prefers to turn red and shout instead of speaking in a calm manner. You are a hunk of flesh that he is going to run some cameras, tubes, and wires through...how dare you have any concerns of your own.

Dr. Peshka has serious anger management issues. I am certain these issues plague his personal life as they clearly do in his profession. He has little to no patience when it comes to explaining the conditions, treatments, procedures, etc. It is almost as if he just expects us to know. Dr. Peshka may be a capable gastroenterologist but I am sure that not everyone can get past his bedside manner to find out. He needs to find his niche in health care and that would be a position with little to no human interaction.

He does not listen to his patients. He is awful!!!

Dr. Peshka is OK as a doctor but has no bedside manner. He did my colonoscopy & failed to notify me of pre-cancerous polyps I had. I found out 6 months later from the physicians assistant. Had I not found out, I wouldn't have had another colonoscopy for 10 more years. The assistant informed me I need one every 2-3 years.

Dr. Peshka spent a fair amount of time discussing healthy diet and lifestyle with me, described the procedure thoroughly, answered my questions patiently and pleasantly. The procedures were a non-event, I would not have known I'd had anything done, no after-effects other than mild lingering of anesthetic. I was able to do a light workout when I got home, floor exercises and stretching, no problems. Still great a week later. I would send any of my loved-ones to him for these procedures.

Very kind and made me feel very comfortable even though it's not a fun procedure!

Would not provide a consult to explain new findings in endoscopy, would have to wait months for appt. as new patient.. They wanted me to talk to my PCP about it. How was I not already his patient? Did not respond to written statement pleas for short consult. Does procedure, no follow through.

My family doctor referred me for a colonoscopy & upper endoscopy. Despite unusual findings, Dr Peshka would not meet with me to discuss them, since I am not a regular patient in their practice. I would have to talk to a nurse practitioner or wait 3 months for a new patient appt. My old gastro across the state saw me the next week to explain the stomach lesions. Did not even respond to a letter asking to see him after procedure.

0 bedside manner. Abrupt and almost rude. Acts as though patients should not ask any questions, although current best practice is for patients to be well informed and take responsibility for their own care by asking questions. He has been abrasive on both inpatient and outpatient hospital encounters.

Competent yet easily frustrated and abrasive. Horrible bedside manner but gets the job done. Office visits are nigh impossible to get but he is readily available for all procedures relating to his field. So what will it be, folks? Do you want your doc to be your buddy or a darn good mechanic who gets the job done?
