I love Dr Para and his staff! I would not trust any other surgeon! ❤️ I would Highly recommend him!!

I have never been in a doctor's office with such short wait times. I was seen quickly after my diagnosis and had my surgery rapidly as well. I was impressed with how much both Dr Para and Maria cared about my progress and the research they did to find a less-known solution to my individual problem.

This is the most unprofessional practice I have had the misfortune of doing business with. Their billing dept is incompetent and their accts manager disappears when there is a problem. I have a bill that I actually OVERPAID on and they sent it to a collection agency, been trying for 1 month to get this resolved and all I get is sent to different peoples voicemail. Dr. Para removed my Gall Bladder and did an excellent job. I say this because I felt good afterwards and was doing my normal duties within a few days. He is kind, compassionate, funny and a real nice guy. I would recommend him to anyone and on a side note, he loves donuts!

Paid his Practice and got an invoice two months later for the exact amount I paid. Checked past transactions and sure enough I paid them. Wasting my time and giving out headaches. Get it together "Doctor"

I had a procedure with Dr.Para Daniel. And almost died..... i was bleeding internally for three weeks and the Mayo Hospital saved my Life. The Hospital called Dr. Para Daniel for him to explain what procedure he actually was performing and he never returned their call. Months later his nice administrator called and ask for me to pay $13.00 on a past due balance. Get a second opinion... I had a procedure with Dr.Para Daniel. Dr. Para is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen. Another review stated that Dr. Para does not listen to his patients and makes them feel belittled. That is exactly how I felt. Dr. Para has a massive EGO and could care less about you once you pay and have a procedure. I have been in pain for years since my procedure and Dr. Para could care less. If it was all a question of his professional medical capabilities he would be a great doctor. Medical skills great, bedside manner horrible. He Band-Aids every issue rather than getting to the root of the issue. And after telling him several times you would like to get to the source he dismisses you and says "it will all get done in time, Honey!". His office staff is also incompetent and disregarding of insurance procedures. I had a surgery scheduled for Dec./2020 and because his nurse didn't think it was important enough to specify the brand name of the surgical instrument being used during the surgery the insurance denied the surgery. She caused me more unnecessary pain. Also his wife, Maria Para, who happens to work for him. Attempted to give me an ethics speech for advising I was looking for another doctor and requesting my medical records. At what point is it ethical to attempt to shame patients for looking for the best line of care for themselves? Save yourself the time and heartache. Dr. Para is an excellent doctor. After months of illness and other doctors dismissing my symptoms I ended up in the hospital. I was the assigned to Dr Para and now I can happily tell you I feel 100% again. He is a life saver. He listens and genuinely cares and explains everything so there are no questions or concerns about treatment. I referred my father to him and I know he is going to be in great hands now.

I Could not ask for a better doctor or office staff!! Dr. Para was kind and informative from the start and to the end of my follow up. Very easy and nice going, I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr.Para is excellent Doctor very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and I’ve been his patient since 2011. His staff Maria and Hope are amazing.

Going to get checked to make sure all is all right... had a laparoscopic appendectomy...been a monthe here soon and not healing well at all and have a few more incisions than expected .... He was kinda nice but rough..... I told him I'm having pain and he pushed so hard on my stomach my leg flew up and I started crying. Dr. Para is very unprofessional. He dose not listen to his clients and makes you feel belittled when he speaks to you. He is not knowledgeable and refuses to listen when clients speak about THEIR body. He left me in pain and REFUSED to address a complication that developed per the surgery he did. My encounter with Doctor Para and his staff was absolutely amazing. His bedside Manner and his technique is phenomenal. A wonderful surgeon and very good at what he does. Lots of experience. He has outstanding!

This man is absolutely amazing! A kind, compassionate, professional, and very thorough physician. He has done an endoscopy, colonoscopy, removal of a cyst, and major repair of my esophagus and herniated stomach. His front office staff is always on top of every patient need. They are equally kind and compassionate. I have been blessed to have Dr. Para as my surgeon through the most difficult and serious procedure of my life. I would want him to care for my wife, son, and any dear friend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Para. My husband went into the ER in March with terrible abdominal pains from what we eventually learned was a severe case of diverticulitis with a perforated colon. Dr. Para did not immediately recommend surgery, like you so often hear about with knife-happy surgeons. Instead, he admitted my husband and monitored him closely over the next few days, hoping to avoid emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the surgery ended up being necessary, and Dr. Para did a temporary stoma with colostomy. Three months later, Dr. Para performed a successful reversal of the colostomy. After both surgeries, both the inpatient and outpatient care by Dr. Para was second to none. He was very attentive, accessible, patient, friendly, and encouraging with both my husband and myself. Not only did he treat us well, but he also treated the hospital nursing staff very respectfully and professionally, which in itself speaks volumes. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a general surgeon and wouldn't hesitate to use him again if ever there was again a need. (God willing, there won't be!) Dr. Para was an amazing surgeon! From start to finish he was professional, kind, and his staff is amazing. My surgery was successful and recovery has been easy. I've had so many questions and his office staff took each of my calls and answered all questions thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Para.

I had a great experience with having a medical procedure conducted by Dr. Para. The ladies in the office were very friendly. Dr. Para described the entire medical procedure before and results after. I appreciate all his efforts to a successful recovery period too. Thanks Dr. Para for helping me to feel much better.

**** WARNING *** This guys is terrible. Please do yourself a favor and find another doctor. There are plenty of other doctors in the same area that perform all the same procedures. I have complications after a procedure and he does not care at all. He will not listen to anything I say. His massive ego is keeping him from being a quality, compassionate doctor. I have to find another doctor now and spend more money because I cannot live with the discomfort. He could care less.

Was referred to Dr. Para for diaphragm hernia repair and from the moment I met with him and his staff I felt comfortable. His patient care and bedside manners are great, his staff working with him are all very pleasant people. Everything he does he discusses and explains to the patient. He is a very good listener and takes the time to get to know his patients. So far he is the only surgeon I have met that made me feel comfortable by his open discussion with me about my care.

Dr. Para removed a lesion on my chest. He is very knowledgeable and explained every step of the procedure. I will always recommended this Dr. Para to friends and family members.

I will recommend Dr. Daniel Para I had two surgeries thru him and I haven't have any complications he knows what his doing as well as his personal thank you very much

Dr Para is a very kind, gentle, and caring Dr. I was admitted through the ER for a bad infection in my gallbladder that needed to be removed and felt I was honestly on my death bed. Very scared feeling!! Dr Para admitted me, came into my room a few times to explain every detail to me making certain I understood the befores, during, and after effects and processes! I absolutely love this Dr. Thank you Dr Para!! Also, thank you for tucking my wounds gently and not leaving ugly marks on my body. TA

I hope that other women who have suffered like me for over 40 years will seek the help to resolve their digestion problems without medication and other methods that do very little to help with your quality of life. At 64, I am feeling better than I did in my 20's. The first meeting with Dr. Para reassured me he could fix my problem. I got my hope back and not a hand full of meds. I want to urge anyone wanting their life back to call Dr. Para immediately.

Dr Para is a excellent doctor and surgeon. He listens to your medical history and follows up with the necessary tests before he does your surgery. If surgery is needed. If you need to have a surgeon for any reason Dr Para in my opinion is the best.

Dr. Para is great. - just wish he'd go to hospital other than St. Luke's Medical Center.

Dr Para is amazing!!! My scars are practically invisible! He truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen and he thoroughly explains the procedure. Before the procedure he makes sure that you understand all of the risks, possible side effects, and benefits to the procedure you're having done.
