My father in law is in severe pain from a medication screw up. He hasnt slept in many days. He had an appt with Dr mateer and when he got there the good Dr had already left for the day. They turned him away like they didnt care how he felt. I'll never give this guy or the practice another cent.

Dr. Mateer is #1-Trusting, friendly, compassionate, honest and tells you what is going on(no bs). If you are looking for a new PCP, I'd recommend Dr. M bc you can TRUST him and he will always make sure you understand what's going on. Being able to trust you primary care provider is key to knowing and understanding your health and Any issues that may occur! I have a good bit of health issues and he monitors my conditions even if he's not treating certain DX's I have. I also have a child with Down Syndrome that he treats. He's very good with my son and can get him laughing at appointments even if he gets shots.
