I was pleased with my services by Dr Daniel Martin This was my first visit..

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr Martin. He has assisted me numerous times when I've had back issues and I've been seeing him since 2014. His recommendations have been on point for me!

Dr Martin is always very thorough in his examinations and questions about my pain. The 2 epidural injections he gave me gave me relief.

Great staff and all around visit

This was my first exerience at Ortho Virginia. T.he staff was very friendly and comforting. Dr. Martin was very professional and very informative. He was really nice and really helped me to understand what I was dealing with and gave me very promising options for a possible resolution to the challenge I was dealing with. I really appreciate his honesty and his way of letting you know what options you have and not sugar coating anything. He was not rude or unprofessional. The entire staff was pleasant, courteous and helpful. Dr. Martin was very professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to my medical needs. I personally recommend him as an exceptional Orthopedic Physician. I'm completely satisfied.

Dr. Martin took the time to examine me and familiarize himself with my situation. This is more than I can say for most other doctors. I was satisfied with my experience in the treatment I received.

It takes DAYS to get a response, if they even call you back. I followed back up today 6 days after initially calling and being told someone would call me back. Dr. Martin and his receptionists are incredibly unprofessional, rude, and very demeaning. I was blatantly treated like dirt beneath their feet every single time I had worked with them. He cannot control his sharp tongue, and brought me to tears in the OR. He cuts you off constantly, and is quick to rush you into a medical procedure, but not so willing to give you any details, or answer any questions. I have asked him multiple questions loud and clear, and he blatantly ignored me each and every time, to the point where his nurse was getting uncomfortable. His receptionist also got very loud with me in office, and threatened me multiple times in front of others, also bringing me to tears. Then proceeded to refuse to bring out an office manager. This is on top of the fact that the receptionists never get back to you on the phone either, regardless or how critical your questions are. The repeated inappropriate behavior on the end of him and his staff had escalated to the point where the office manager had to sit in on my appointment just to make sure that he would conduct himself in an orderly manner. It was during this appointment that I found out that he had subject me to a serious medical procedure that had nothing to do with my condition, or why I was being seen. Whether he did this solely for monetary gain, or out of sheer carelessness is unclear. Though it is malpractice never the less. Take care of your patients who put their well being and trust in your hands; instead of conducting yourselves in such classless ways! Each person here to visit you has undergone a lot of pain and suffering already! Do better representing Ortho Virginia! I saw Dr. Martin for neck and arm pain related to cervical stenosis. His approach to my medical management was sympathetic and genuinely caring. Dr. Martin Is a caring talented physician. He leaves no stone unturned In caring for his patients. One of the very best physicians I’ve ever seen.

I received a lumbar epidural injection L5 for left-sided radiculopathy (1-24-22) by Dr. Dan Martin. I appreciated near complete resolution of symptoms. Bravo! and thanks for your efforts.

I was in a motorcycle accident and had extreme pain in my neck, and had limited mobility. I was referred to Dr. Martin by another Ortho doctor who stated he was the best of the best for neck injuries, and that he teaches pain relief nationwide. Over the next several months and a few procedures he greatly helped me in my pain management. He listened and was very respectful to my husband and I while we were there. If we had a question he would take the time to explain whatever it was we needed to know. My husband and I liked him so much that my husband went to see Dr. Martin for a problem he was having. Dr. Martin listened as I described the pain I was having on our first visit. He ordered a X-ray of the spine. It wasn’t clear as to what was causing the pain so he ordered an MRI. I came back for the follow up visit. He detailed the findings on the MRI & we discussed treatment options. The staff was friendly & attentive to any questions I had.

Dr Martin is a skilled pain management physician who didn't rush through my appt. who is professional, kind and caring. He answered my questions explaining everything he planned to do and why.

Dr. Martin has helped so much since I was referred to his care. I'm starting to think that I may have a chance to do some of the day-to-day activities that I could perform before the back started limiting just simple things I use to perform.

Questions patiently answered, concerns thoroughly addressed. Excellent care; implicitly trust Dr Martin and his staff.

Dr Martin is a very informative and caring physician. He explains what he is going to do and explains what he is doing and checks often to be sure the is no pain during the procedure. I have had several procedures done by him and am happy to return in the future.

Dr. Martin was so thorough and talked to me with compassion and concern regarding my pain that I’ve dealt with for 20yrs. It was so refreshing to see someone who truly gets what you’re going through.

I've been seeing Dr. Martin for about a year now. He explains my options so that I can make decisions on how to handle my pain.

Dr. Martin was through during our first meeting. He both questioned me on my issues and did a physical exam on my range of motion of my neck. From there, he got me into physical rehab. If I could give this guy less than one star I would - after waiting weeks for a much needed appointment for a cortisone shot, which takes 20 mins, we show up at the time of appointment only to have them cancel for another two weeks. The lack of empathy was for my father, who is in chronic pain, from the nurse who was brought out to deal with my father was shocking and frankly embarrassing. What a shameful operations.

Dr. Martin has been my pain management interventionalist for a few years now and I couldn’t have asked for a better physician. I was in a car accident in 2018 and have had chronic pain ever since. He really knew how to give me more mobility. He is very competent and knowledgeable and has helped me tremendously. He truly cares about his patients and takes his time and explains procedures and pathophysiology. As a nurse I needed a physician who really cares and Dr Martin meets that criteria. From the time I walked in the door, everyone was friendly and professional. The facility was very clean and I felt very comfortable. Dr. Martin is wondeful. He takes his time and explains everything. He is experienced, knowledgeable and skilled. I have confidence I am in excellent hands, which means a lot when having medical issues.

Dr. Martin is extremely knowledgable and exceptionally skilled at injections and nerve ablation procedures. He performed nerve ablation on me to help with facet pain I’ve experienced after a spinal fusion. Dr. Martin is great at explaining treatment options and I’ve always found him to be a caring professional. He is an excellent physician. He is honest and straight-forward.

Dr. Martin did a fantastic job on my spinal surgery that blocked the severe nerve pain I was having from a spinal stenosis. (L3–L5). His professionalism and knowledge are truly amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone who qualfies and wants to end the frequent pain killing back injections. He gave me a “new” back!! His new procedure and medical you knowledge are #1, and his care and follow-through to ensure I completely recovered were sensational. I loved his wit and manner, which was sincere and kept me in good spirits every time I saw him. He is not just “another doctor” - he is a “healer”. God guides his hands.

Dr. Martin continues to explore avenues for treating my back issues after successful surgery but with complications. He is very thorough in explaining my MRIs and is very concerned with my overall health. I have every faith that Dr. Martin will continue to work diligently to resolve my back problems.

Horrible bedside manner. He was rude and disrespectful. Cut me off, wouldn't let me finish a sentence. When I began to cry it got worse. I am 46 years old and I have never been spoken to by a doctor this way in my life.
