Had an eye exam. Danni ,the technician, was very nice and we had a great conversation. Dr. Mallory explained everything very well as he and I looked at the pictures of my eye. I give the visit as a whole 5 stars out of 5 stars.

My wife is being treated for medical reasons. Today was the time for both our vision care. We have the best and utmost respect for Dr Mallory and his staff. Very helpful and friendly with what we needed. I would surely recommend others to this office. I couldn’t get better care anywhere. Enjoy coming in and seeing everyone.

If I can give 0 stars I would. The doctor Mallory is a horrible doctor and I will never come here again. He put in my insurance wrong and they almost overcharged me if I had not looked into it & honestly I felt he did that on purpose because i basically called him out every time he said something wrong. He was rude, sarcastic, and flat out told me I couldn’t see another option for my contacts because it not what I want it’s what he prescribes me. Mind you I only tried on one brand. My other doctor didn’t have a problem with letting me explore my options, after all his office isn’t the one paying for them. Thank god for all the sweet assistants that helped me out both times. I feel sorry you have to work with some one like that. Really don’t go here, he doesn’t deserve patients.

I’m giving 5 stars because all of the staff was so friendly and helpful and Dr. Dan Mallory really hit a home run with me! I get nervous when I’m getting eye exams done and both the tech and the doctor made it a fun and comfortable experience for me. It’s kinda funny to say about a doctor appointment but I had a good time ????. The only unfun part was the wait was really long but that may be because Dr. Dan spends quality time when with patients. I’ll still definitely be back!

During my visit to Dr mallory, I was given a choice: be dilated, or have pictures of my retina taken with a machine at a personal cost of $39. I opted for the machine. However the pictures turned out to be worthless. Nevertheless I was still charged $39. Plus I had to be dilated. The VA had arranged for my appointment, and Dr Mallory told me he would forward the exam results to them, but he neglected to do so, in spite of several inquiries from them and also from me. The result is that I am having to redo this exam with another provider, with a delay of a couple of months, and my vision continues to degrade.

Exam was excellent, Doctor was the best. Only recommendation; I waited, standing almost 10 minutes while receptionist was on the phone making multiple appointments, callers could have been placed on hold for the 30 seconds it took to have me check in. Do not come here for glasses! We came in looking for glasses for my son on 5/27 and were met with a very rude employee. We were very understanding when he stated that he was only there to give glasses to patients, but he could have turned us away if he was not able to provide adequate customer service. First of all, if you have 3+ hours to spend on your office visit, this is the place for you. If you don't care about getting your glasses in timely manner, this place is for you. Took a month to get the call that my glasses were ready, which was fine because that was the original estimate for both the lenses and frames. The frames weren't custom/special, they were the same frames they had available on the floor that I tried on. Went in the following week and they realized that only the frames were in and had been sitting in their cabinet for a week instead of being sent out for the lenses. It took another 2.5 weeks for the lenses to be completed. Also, the glasses don't come with a cleaning cloth because "the doctor is against them." Oh, and when you get your glasses, look forward to the employee casually tossing them to you saying "here you go". You don't have to worry about trying them on and making sure they don't need to be adjusted - who has time for that anyway? This is the 2nd time that the prescription glasses department has taken very long to get my prescription glasses. The first time took over 3 months. This time, I decided to give them another chance. I ordered my prescription sunglasses back in Dec 2021. The receptionist is very friendly and greets you as you come in the door. The nurses are very caring and explain what they are going to do before they do it. Dr Mallory thoroughly explains everything he is doing and is very patient when switching between the lenses to see which one is the best. The receptionist is causing this office to lose customers (i.e. money). Ive had a referral sent twice, with the "new" fax number and each time I'm told they didnt receive it. I called today to see if the 3rd fax was received and was left on hold for 10 mins. Now I will have to take my business elsewhere.

He leaves no room for error as he makes sure all necessary tests have been performed and explained IN DETAIL to the cause, risks and treatments available for your particular situation. Only negative is the business end can make errors. Make sure to get receipts for everything. Dr. Mallory is a fantastic and patient doctor. I've been going to him for 2 years now and I've had no issues whatsoever. His examinations are always very thorough and his conclusions are always spot on. My last visit reminded me of why I continue to go to this office, as I received excellent customer service and the prior issues have been resolved. ********* Horrible customer service. I have back 3 times and when iget my glass,s right i wont be back. The man in the frame dept. is rude he needs a new work exp. After my exam i was given my new rx so l bought 2 pair of glass,s one for distance and one for readding. Went home and tried to make them work everything was bluurry . Iwent up to the eye place took both pairs to the counter was toldyi needed to see the frame guy he looks at my glass’s and promptly tells me they made them backwards, wrong frame to wrong glass he personnaly will fix them not sure how it happened so made apt came back to see dr. Horrible customer service. From the guy in the vision department to Dr. Mallory. I came in to get glasses. Ended up with 2 pair that are defective. I came back within the 90 days. They were always to bust yo help. I had a family emergency that took me out of town for 2 months. I paid $1500 for 2 pair. They kept one pair for me to come back. I never got a call to say your glasses are still here. I came back today to figure it all out. I was berated by Dr. Mallory for not getting the CoVid shot for over 10 minutes, then belittled that it was not up to them to call me and say they still have my glasses. Sooooo my wife went to the optometrist recently (Dr. Mallory’s). To start with, some dude named Kenneth wasn’t too very helpful. At all. And a lady named Gigi rocks. That’s all I’ll say about that. Other things to mention would be that my wife didn’t have a full selection of frames to look at, bcuz half of them were in a basket waiting to be sanitized. Wow, that’s cool ????. The biggest let down was how they dropped the ball on insurance at the visit. I guess their billing person was out of the office, so they couldn’t logon to some system to verify my wife’s insurance. 1st) why wasn’t her chart prepared prior? Today marks day 60 I have been waiting for my glasses. I was originally told 2 weeks. I've called a LOT and get brushed off and told "we'll call you back," no one ever does and I have to call them to get yet another excuse. Today I asked for my money back and was told "they need to talk to the doctor AND the system is down." 60 days is a long time to wait for glasses I paid for 100% out of pocket for. Waited for the glasses to come in and was told when they checked the lenses that they were made wrong. When I went in a week later to pick the glasses the lenses were still wrong. Once you have an appointment, Dr. Mallory and staff are great. But I give only 3 stars because I was unable to get an appointment last time I tried-- email, phone messages, and the automatic calendar set-up all tried, all failed to get a response. By the time someone on his staff returned my calls/messages, I'd already set up an appointment with another doctor. This was about a 18 months ago, so maybe they are more responsive now. I normally don't do reviews when my opinion is negative, but keep getting requests (automatic?) to do one. If only their personal communications were as regular!
