About Daniel Loesch
Reviews for Daniel Loesch
my husband had a serious back injury back in his 20's. Now being mid 60 it was either have surgery or be in a wheel chair. My husband had 9 vertebra fused and within three weeks he said he felt better than he had in the last 20 years. He has very little limitations and is doing everything he has always done. Thank God for Dr Loesch, my husband got his life back

Very bad wouldnt even recommend him to my enemy not understanding and very rude
This is Heather leaving this review. I wouldnt give this Surgeon, this neurosurgical team 1 star from my experience yesterday. Well, I never even actually SAW a neurosurgeon nor was I told once before my appointment nor during my appointment that this would be the case. The Pa I saw had no bedside manner at all. Today I see his recollection of the visit or perhaps his truthfulness is in question by reading his summary. I was sent many papers and 1 I saw several times that the patient was allowed to bring a support person as long as they didnt show s/s of covid, have a new fever or cold symptoms, and hadnt been in contact w anyone w covid..but once u arrive u find out ur "support person" was merely ur ride as they couldnt come back to the exam room. I understand many Dr. Offices and medical facilities are doing the same but up till now it was made clear prior to my appointment. So...its just you and whomever they pick to see you that day....and I certainly get no say in the dr. Notes.....kinda an uphill battle to be a patient at all anymore. I will say this....saying once or twice that "you just dont see what could be causing AS much pain as I SAY im in" would be understandable. Ive dealt with this ten years...but once you've said it a good dozen times you are dismissing what I KNOW my body is telling me. I lost 150 lbs trying to help myself....I was actually asked if I had gastric bypass surgery when he JUST looked and STILL had the ability to see my operative history!!! Then looked me straight in the face with an almost look of disbelief/side smirk "well thatd be hard to do with your complaints" ????????...it felt like he thought I did this running laps or something.....no..I did this SLOWLY AND WITH MUCH MUCH EFFORT OVER YEARS to try to help MYSELF! He left the room saying he was going to check something and came back in the room proudly displaying paperwork like some fbi agent. He spoke as he entered.." Well you have had a TON of mris...as if I ordered them on myself..." And MANY workups" yes and? "I cant figure this out and honestly I dont think anyone ever will" ????...ty ty very very much. Im still thinking ok well he is a hoot but the surgeon will be in..."All I can say is maybe try physical therapy or injections again" end of appointment...then I get it. No neurosurgeon will be seeing me today. Meanwhile....my symptoms have been consistent since the injury and initial surgery. Ive had more needles and things being poked prodded in me then I care to share. Each person who reads my mri says something different from the person I just spoke with. I get the fashion statement of a brace on my left leg for foot drop and it appears I will need a matching set because my right leg is now effected also...thats what changed to bring the appt about. I was in shock yesterday leaving. Having a bit of time to think on it and after reading his notes im just sick to my stomach. I wish they at least made a nurse be in the room so the patient isnt alone and its not a he said she said thing...where of course the patient losses each time. Im sad today. Patients deserve better. I cant speak for everyone but I know what Im dealing with really is no fun and all and I would gladly not have it if it were an option. Im tired of seeing this and that dr and leaving more and more confused. So, why make it harder? I will never get that. The receptionist was very very nice and nurse Carrie was wonderful...she is a true nurse and patient advocate. They get 5 stars. This is Heather leaving this review. Working with Dr. Loesch was a very positive experience. He answered all of my questions in detail, and if I didn’t understand something he simplified his answer. I feel that the surgery was very well done and the results have a lot to do with how carefully the patient follows directions.
I can't recommend him to anyone. His assistant thinks I should take prescription pain medication, and use a warm wet compress on my neck for the rest of my life. Did not listen to a single problem, and blew me off, and made me feel like I'm making everything up. I will be changing doctor's ASAP!
Giving a 1 star review is overcompensating for what a disgrace this doctor is. My sister visited this doctor in hopes of finding out answers to her excruciating pain she has dealt with for 3 years. She has had chronic medical issues with no answers as of yet. The exact words from Dr. Loescho to her were "My only recommendation for you is that you have gastric bypass surgery. I would not dream of touching your back because I would have to go through 5 inches of fat to get to your spine." My pain and sorrow I feel for her having to endure this type of treatment is beyond words. Please find a doctor that actually cares about their patients. I am writing this review for her because she was so humiliated and embarrassed, all she could do was leave the office crying. This type of treatment should be punishable by law!!

Had a fusion on c-6 &7 3 years ago and after surgery i was pain free. I am now going back to have another surgery done.
My mother and I took my sister to see him and we were very disappointed
I did not get a good vibe from Dr loesch and chose a different doctor. I made the correct decision.
I did not let him do the procedure on me because I did not care for him. There seems to be some slippage on his part as there are a decent amount of negative reviews from the past few months.
Wouldn't recommend him to my enemy.
I don't recommend him. His attitude stinks and he wasn't completely honest with us about the situation.

He has no bed side manners I was highly dissapointed by his arrogant attitude will not recommend anyone to see him .
I trust No other doctor to treat me.
Dr Loesch operates on my mother’s brain. His work has helped my mother very much. Her incisions healed quickly and cleanly. The doctor had a tricky spot to work in with a very important vein covering the tumor he needed to remove. He protected that vein as best he could, knowing if it died, my mother would most likely have a stroke. The vein hasn’t died and my mother is getting stronger everyday. When Dr Loesch sat with my family to discuss our mother’s operation and his concerns, he was very nice and very approachable. From all I have seen and experienced of this doctor, I respect his work and his bedside manner completely. Thank you Dr Loesch. Dr Loesch operates on my mother’s brain.
