The absolute best Doctor you can have! He really cares about his patients and remembers me even though I don’t go to the office regularly. This is NOT a doc in a box place. His office and staff are professional and compassionate. I almost want to give a bad review so he doesn’t get more patients and busier. Best doctor I have gone to see. Always there for me and my family 100%

My wife and I have been seeing Dr Laieta for over 10 years. I have never been rushed. He answers questions in plain English. There is never more than a 5 to 10 minute wait to see him. He is willing to manage your medical issues and doesn't send you to a specialist unless it is absolutely required. His office staff is great. His PA Barbara Davis is slow and has longer waits up to 30 minutes. She is an alarmist.

Dr. Laieta is the best. He listens patiently and provides excellent answers. His office staff , Alyssa, Christine, Tina and Lynn are the best. Always friendly

Well, here goes. Dr Laieta has been wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, explains things well... well at least the few times I’ve actually gotten to see him. Unfortunately, he share his office with Barbara Joan Davis nurse practitioner. I saw her yesterday for what should have been a simple visit to renew my blood pressure medication. During my visit I told here I felt compelled to let her know that their office does not communicate very well. During the previous year when I tried to renew my prescription at the local drug store they said they tried to contact the office several times and got no response. Earlier this year they tried right in front of me and had gotten no response. Ms Davis got immediately defensive and said the office had received no contact from the pharmacy. I told her I was there when they tried. Then Ms Davis asked me how could I expect them to refill my prescription since I had not been in in about two years (not true). I said that it was fine if they didn’t want to renew the prescription and wanted me to come in but they should have communicated that, don’t just not respond. She then said they don’t respond and again went on about how it’s been about two years etc... I told her when they and I didn’t get any communication I went to the local stathealth and got a temporary prescription. I also told her it just happened to me. I had just called twice this past Wednesday between 12:30 and 12:45 PM and I got a phone message that said the office was closed and the mon- peri hours they are open. I thought that was an odd message for a Wednesday? Were they on vacation? Closed permanently? I tried again on Thursday and someone picked right up.She then told me “maybe they’re a better fit”. - Pretty appalling response huh? So anyway, There’s not enough space to go into all the details. But Ms Davis was argumentative the entire visit and acted annoyed.when I want to leave she went into the corner of the reception area and started typing and muttering. I asked “is that it? No response. I then let the ladies at the reception know that I had called two days previously and got the “closed” message. One of the ladies actually said “sorry”. And I said all they had to do was to change the message. Ms Davis was clearly annoyed and told me to”just let it go”. I told her she was As acting as if I was lying the entire time. And continued to comment as I was leaving and as I was walking out see gave me the middle finger. I said to them you know thieve things will be online. One of the receptionist then laughed out loud and said “oh god, he’s not one of those yelp people?” - very professional. Anyway, after I left I remembered what I wad gone to stat heath. It was after I had done to the ER with blood pressure above 230 and they told me to follow up ASAP with my primary care. When I called Dr Laieta’s office the receptionist told me it would be about two weeks to see the doctor and then repeatedly told me “the nurse practitioner can do everything the Dr can”. I found this outright lie annoying and and said “If that was true then she would not be called a nurse practitioner now would she”. I gave up making an appointment then and walked into a local stat health. The doctors there ordered blood test, a cat scan referred to to neurologist (Dr Leskiv) who ordered a mri and mra which discover a corotid dissection thereby saving my life. I had been for follow ups and a presurgical screening with Dr Laieta and Ms Davis but really, I don’t know why. Every time I have called in the last two years (except this past Thursday) the receptionist has repeated the lie the the nurse practitioner can do EVERYTHING the Dr can and acts annoyed if you insist you want to see the doctor. This Thursday pay she just pushed the nurse and made no mention of the doctor. So, here’s the review. Sorry Doctor Laieta. You seem like a very nice guy, but the behavior and unprofessionalism of your nurse and office are totally unacceptable. I have been a patient of Dr. Laieta for many years.He is just amazing.He is professional and listens and explains things thoroughly. I received Dr. Laieta as a recommendation from my nephew who is in the medical field. I had to wait 3 months before I could get an appointment. One week before my appointment they canceled and rescheduled me for the following week. Then 3 hours before, on the day of my appointment, they canceled me again. I had taken the day off from work for the appointment. He may be a magnificent doctor, but he is definitely NOT reliable. I will not make another appointment. Great Doctor, Wonderful office

Dr. Laieta is just great. I am 78 and have had a few family doctors in my lifetime. Dr. Laieta always comes up with the right treatment for whatever ailment I have. He does NOT send you for unnecessary tests and is now affiliated with probably the best hospital in Suffolk county. In addition he is personable and wait times are usually 10 minutes or less I have been going to him since we moved to L.I. which is about 9 years. His staff is efficient and congenial.

Dr. Laieta is knowlegeable and caring. He takes his time examining me, listens to my questions and concerns and explains everything until I understand it. He does not send me for unnecessary tests. He has worked with me and kept me healthy at 75.

The absolute BEST doctor and AMAZING office staff!! Anytime I call, the office staff are over the top friendly and accommodating and literally get things done within minutes! Dr. Laieta is truly one of kind, providing quality care and takes the time to listen and explains things thoroughly :)

If you are lucky enough to have Dr laieta as your primary care doctor - you are certainly lucky! He's caring , considerate and knowledgeable. He's great at what he does! Always busy, but you never feel rushed. He listens and truly cares - a real professional in a sea of mediocre doctors.

Have an issue with billing. Called numerous times to speak to the person in charge of billing which is also the office manager and we can never get her on the phone. We keep getting told she'll call us back which she never does. After 2 weeks of this on going issue I request to speak to a doctor about it, they say they'll have the doctor call us back which he or she doesn't. I just called and was told the doctor was told of the issue and that we'll have to speak to billing about it. Have an issue with billing. The best of the best!

I e been a patient of Dr Laieta for over 5 yrs and I'm proud and happy to say he is my doctor. Dr Laieta has great bed side manner,he's knowledgeable on all aspects and talks to you like a family me ever or friend to help with his diagnosis. He doesn't treat his patients as insurance numbers. He takes the time to find out what he can do to help and give his professional opinion. I will continue to go to Dr Laieta as long as I can. DR. LAIETA has been my Doctor for almost 10 years now and I can honestly say that he is one of the best and most knowledgeable Dr.'s I have ever seen. There is never more than a 10 minute wait to be seen and when you are called in, it is by Dr Laieta himself. He makes you feel very comfortable, always remembers your prior visits and why you are there. A Kind, considerate, & knowledgeable physician that some other Doctors should take lessons from!

He's very calm takes his time to explain a treatment that he recommends and it's effects if any. And so far every medicine he prescribed for whatever illness I went to him for worked and quickly. His recommendations for other specialist have served me well.

I will say I have never been to the office. My wife and I are looking for a family doctor and I rec'd Dr. Laieta's name from a referral from another Dr. I called the office to see if he was accepting new patients and the women who answered the phone said yes, but can't make an appointment until August. This is April so I asked her what happens if you get sick before August? She said she didn't know how to answer that. I told thanks but I need a doctor when I'm sick not 2 months later.
