Dr. Daniel Morris Kraus

I was in danger of losing my job because of complications with my twin pregnancy causing me to go over FMLA- as a single first time mom. I also had complications from the start. I had a baby with IUGR, an incompetent cervix and cerclage at 20 weeks, and as it turned out later, HELLP Syndrome. I was terrified of having a C section but had to. My pregnancy was scary medically for me, my babies, and scary financially because I could have legally lost my job. Yes, I cried in the office. This man told me he thought I was not going to be able to handle motherhood. He told me and I quote " A lot of other people have worse things happen to their babies and they handle it better than you". Yup. I had him excluded from being able to care for me. He then had the audacity to still ask my support person how I was doing when he saw them in the hallway on perinatal after I nearly died from undiagnosed HELLP.

Although Dr. Krau is knowledgeable, he comes across as condescending and insensitive. He needs to realize that “ it’s not what you say, but how you say it.” His bedside manner could use some fine tuning (and tone down the arrogance).

Does not listen to his patients.
