Daniel Kane

Dan was very helpful as I dealt with an alcoholic family member. He had me change my mindset to focus on myself and only control the situations that I could, and in doing so, removed the stress from my life. I couldn't be more happier with our sessions.

My husband and I started seeing Dan when our marriage was in crisis. Dan was warm, funny, and good at managing two poor communicators who don't particularly like talking about their feelings. It is evident that he truly cares about the well being of his patients. I don't know where I would be or where my marriage would be without Dan's help. I am so thankful that we ended up with him as our counselor.

Dan Kane came in to my life when I really needed someone to talk to. From the beginning it felt like we were long lost friends catching up. Dan was so easy to talk to and also listened very well. He also would ask me tough questions that would get me thinking. I would find that time would fly been when I would conversate with Dan. He would bring up things I said weeks prior and get me to elaborate on them so easily. I would recommend Dan Kane to anyone who needs someone to talk to and listen to. He has a special way with words that get your mind thinking. I will always remember things that he told me about myself. And also funny stories we shared with each other. I have been a patient of Dan off and on for around almost 10 years. He is skilled at getting you to talk openly without force. He's compassionate, understanding, no nonsense. He is very transparent when he gives his thoughts on what he hears from you without being judgmental. He has helped me get through some childhood as well as adult traumas. I am at a really positive place in my life now because of Dan's help.

Dan is an active listener. He is very easy to talk to, and set me at ease with his pleasant, empathetic demeanor. I highly recommend him.

He was very judgemental. I did not want to go back. I did not feel comfortable and felt he was not invested in my treatment and was very distracted by the time and other trivial things. I am very surprised he is in private practice and he was very hurtful with his words.
