Totally a first class Doctor. My wife has been to see him twice with two separate problems. The first was a Baker Cyst behind her left knee. This has been very painful for over 15 years. After exhausting all local Doctors to no avail, we made the 6 hour round trip drive to the UF Heath Center. What a lucky draw to get Doctor Herman. He listened to our problem and agreed to try to drain the cyst. It worked perfectly. Cyst totally gone and no more pain. Also, relieved her shoulder pain last trip

Excellent experience. Took his time answering my questions & explaining the problem plus possible solutions. Very impressed w/ him for actually listening and thoroughly discussing the problem & solutions.

As a teaching hospital, one should expect that you will have multiple doctors. How does a doctor learn if not by real life? Herman and his residents/fellows have provided me with excellent care and diagnosis for my torn meniscus. He presents both sides of the issue along with the options and a road map for care in a respectful yet professional approach. He does not shoot from hip, nor does he go for the scalpel as the first approach which I really appreciate

Not impressed. Saw him for about 90 seconds. His intern did complete diagnosis and recomendation. Uh ,, I'm sorry, but my insurance pays for a physicians visit, not a student in training. Gave me no clear diagnosis. Gave me no reasoning how injuries occurred. Gave me no instruction on how to avoid again. Seemed more frightened of my cancer than any physician I've encountered.. Seemed as if he was more prepared to go home than tend to patient. Just a poor doc.
