Our son had a craniotomy performed at 4 weeks old and Dr. Guillaume was completely reassuring and confident in his plan and his team. He was conservative in his approach, meaning he waited as long as he could before performing the surgery, so our son could grow as much as possible, and make his chance of survival the highest possible. I have been meaning to do this for some time and today is that day. Dr. Guillaume is an outstanding neurosurgeon. My son had a brain tumor that was making my son legally blind in both eyes, loss of color vision and daily headaches. We chose Dr. Guillaume because I believed he knew better what to do because he knew what this tumor was and he elected for a less invasive surgery. At Mayo Clinic they wanted to do two brain surgeries! One to biopsy it and the other to remove it or do radiation. And they just kept trying to sell us on the "Mayo Experience." Clearly we made the right choice. My son's eyesight to include color vision returned. While it will never get to normal levels it is good enough that my child will be able to play basketball this year for the first time ever. I cannot recommend Dr. Guillaume highly enough. He knows his job.

He is a super hero with the power to go into a child's brain and fix things. Pediatric neurosurgery is one of the most difficult areas that a doctor can go into, and he's really good, putting him amongst the greatest doctors in the world. Our daughter needed brain surgery and it was an extremely scary time, but Dr. Guillaume was so nice, attentive, calm and reassuring during our consultation that it eased our fears! We brought pages of questions with and he answered every one- we never felt rushed. The surgery went great. He's a wonderful person and incredible surgeon! I am so grateful every day and would highly recommend him!

Dr. Guilliame did a biopsy on our 4yr old's brain stem tumor, along with a ventricular endoscopy. He was incredibly helpful in making our daughters brain surgery understandable to us, carefully and fully answered all our questions, and then did an amazing job for us. We were so comfortable leaving our daughter in his hands. I wish we didn't need his services, but I'm so thankful he was our doctor. Absolutely incredible and I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

He was very attentive and listened carefully. He thoroughly answered our questions. He was very accommodating and kind to our family. Excellent surgeon. Calm, quiet, assertive demeanor. If you have a child in need of a neurosurgeon, you want this Doctor in charge of their care! We were very impressed with the level of care and service we had with the office staff, hospital, and physicians. We were so sad to have to move to a different part of the country and find a new Doctor for our daughter!
