Dr. Daniel Dress

Doesn't talk or explain a lot of things to you. He sees you for about 5 minutes or so. To me that is so ridiculous and rude. I wonder if he realizes how he acts and responds to his patients?

Dr. Dress is an excellent doctor. Very caring, takes time to assess and explain any issues. Glad I found him!

I've often wondered whether this person actually exists. While he is always listed as the primary care physician on record, he's never been available for any appointment or assessment. For all real care interaction, you are scheduled with a nurse practitioner, who is the prescriber, referrer, and diagnostician. His name isn't listed anywhere in the office (another physician is listed), but is always on the paperwork. He was reached once by phone when on-call, but implied he was not in the vicinity of the practice and recommended the ER for a simple case of antibiotics needing to be called into the pharmacy. He also has "secondary practices" on opposite sides of the country - which isn't impossible, but tends to not be the case for your community-level sub-urban/rural primary care physicians. All of this makes me wary of the oversight within the practice and this physician's credentials.
