Dr Bender is a wonderful and caring doctor! His staff is also excellent! I would recommend him to anyone looking for doctor that really takes his time and talks to his patients.

Awesome Dr very knowledgeable polite staff also very friendly and understanding.

I've had him for a pain doc about seven years now. I've never been rushed. He listens well and offers suggestion for tweaking treatment here and there as situations change. I've been to other pain docs and I was stuck in a recliner with chronic pain before I started going to him. I now kayak, canoe, fish and bicycle. Not a lot, but I'm no longer sitting in my recliner year after year.

After trying for an entire month, I finally got an appointment. Sat for about 20 minutes, when I was called into the office I was told by a nurse, not even the Dr that he refused to treat me based on a conversation with a previous Dr. Didn't give me any details or even give me a chance to defend myself if needed, basically believed the word of a Dr who has to appear in court the end of this month in order to keep her license, after she dropped me as a patient with no warning, no referral or anything. Very unprofessional at best. I have been diagnosed with several new back issues since seeing the old Dr who ignored symptoms and never ordered new imaging. Now I suffer in severe pain daily because of all this mess. SMDH After trying for an entire month, I finally got an appointment. Dr Daniel Bender,is a very caring and compassionate doctor, he is the best pain doctor and his staff are warm and friendly, I would recommend Dr Bender to anyone who has done and joint problems.

I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Bender to anyone I cared about. He is a good Dr but is very cocky and arrogant. Very full of himself to the point he’ll get short with you. Doesn’t explain things very well or really doesn’t care about his patients. The 10 years I went to him he continually dated his staff and that interferes with his practice. He had a problem with my wife so he dismissed her and me because I was her husband. Good Dr. with a sorry attitude.

Dr,bender continues to be a great help both to my wife and myself.we have been seeing him over two years now and are still impressed with his caring additude,we would recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic pain.alsohe has surrounded himself with an excellent staff.perfect team. As a patient of Dr. Benders, I was relieved how understanding he is. He and his staff are friendly and are really there for you in every way they can be. I have anxiety and am nervous aka(stressed out with natural life). I was on a patient plan with the medication company that i was on and i thought it was awesome, if they took more patients and or atleast stuck with them till the end would have been better, but beggers can't be choosers, so i remain grateful for the year i was given to help my situation. Been going to Dr Bender for over 7 years. The girls who work there,you just can't get any better people! You feel like when you walk in that door,you are like going into your second home,even with the patients that he has. There is not a thing I can't talk to Dr. Bender about and any kind of problem you have he goes out of his way to make sure it's taken care of,the same with the girls who work there. Dr. Bender will sit there and listen to your complaints and not in a hurry to rush you out the door. Sometimes with other patients he has to spend a little bit more time ,but that's ok with me cause sometimes I may have to use a little bit more time. I have never been kept waiting more than I should be and like I just said,if so,its ok cause sometimes I need a little bit of more time. Dr. Bender is very good listener and explains anything and everything if you don't understand. I have to receive injections in my back and he tries very hard to make you comfortable on the table and tries very hard to make sure that he doesn't hurt you when he is doing the injections and talks you through what he is doing and makes you laugh at the same time!! I have been going to Dr. Bender for a few months now and find him caring, competent, and the treatments have been extremely effective in reducing my pain. He takes the time to listen and is attentive to my concerns. He is helping me to find alternative solutions to manage my pain other than prescription medication. His staff is very friendly and attentive to my needs.

I live in Wisconsin and my mother, who lives in Florida, is a patient of Dr Bender's. Recently she OD from her pain pills, I have called his office 3 times but every extension I dial the mailbox is full, I finally on my 4th try was able to leave a message but not sure if I will get a response. If I do not receive a response I will be contacting the BBB and the state of Florida to have him investigated. I believe he prescribes way to many pills and does not do much to help manage the pain. My mother has been so doped up when I would talk to her that she couldn't even stay awake for a 10 min conversation. Dr's like him are the reason we have opioid problems which lead to overdoses. Prior authorization, Aubrey cannot get any prescription authorized and couldn't even fill out a proper diagnosis per insurance company!!! Way too many patients and Dr. Bender spends maybe 5min with you and just wanted to give shots in your back.Good luck with this Dr.Then discharged my wife to boot POS don't waste your time if you have insurance they won't get your medication authorized and you'll end up screwed until you find another Real Pain Doctor.This guy Bender is nothing more than a Sham!!! I absolutely LOVE this doctor. HE SAVED MY LIFE AND MY FAMILY'S LIFE!!! THE BEST DOCTOR I'VE EVER BEEN TREATED BY!! My name is Mary. I have been a patient of Dr. Bender's for only 5 months but he has done more for me then any other pain management doctor in 13 yrs. I was injured 13 yr ago and have been in so much pain, even unable to walk sometimes. But WOW Dr. Bender not only listens to you and what is going on but he also orders the tests he needs to SEE what is wrong. I am a patient of Dr Bender and he is very helpful to me and my situation. I am on disability from a bad car accident from 2010. He talks to me every month about how I am feeling and does over prescribe me a thing. I have been to Dr's in the past that did do that to me and it was nothing but a bad experience with them but not with Dr Bender by any means. Dr Bender cares for my wife and the progress has been remarkable. Very caring and listens to you. The treatment he uses on her is just awesome. She is free of her scooter due to his treatments. I have nothing but praise for this doctor!!!

Can't say enough great words about Dr. Bender and his staff! After so so many years of tremendous pain, Dr. Bender started treating me. Long discussions about how he would treat me. Slowly and surely, he really helped me regain my life, as pain started to diminish with treatments! Word of mouth is the best advertisement, and i truly recommend Dr. Bender.

I would recommend Dr. Bender for your care in pain management in my previous comment I mentioned how I reluctantly agreed to give Dr. Bender a chance to treat me with shots. The first step went well I go back in 2 weeks for the second part of my treatment. So far with his compassionate and reassuring me I will trust him fully for my pain management. With him experiencing back pain himself he's on point with a real approach to real pain care. I highly recommend him for your care I trust him.

I would not recommend Dr Bender to anyone, I have called his office the past 2 days and still am unable to leave a message or talk to someone. All voice mails are full, which tells me he has either very incompetent people working there or he has to many patients. My mother is a patient of his, she recently overdosed from narcotics that were prescribed by him, he is still prescribing her pain pills. I don't know how any doctor can prescribe an opioid after someone has misused their prescription.

I saw Dr. Bender over 10 years ago. He gave me 'facet joint injections' which, according to him, was as safe as drinking a glass of water. Long story short, I ended up getting paralyzed for 9 months and had to live in a Nursing Home to relearn how to walk.... Among other things... My husband had a 1:10 appointment. At 2:00 I asked the lady at the desk if I had his appointment time and day correct. She told me his appointment was for 1:30 not 1:10 and they take the people back by appointment time. His card says 1:10 not 1:30. And now it's 2:30 and they called someone back who's appointment was at 1:40. This doctor also makes you come every month for your prescriptions. He will be going back to his old doctor! I was not the patient during this experience with him but if i could put no stars i would as he is very rude. First of all i went in the room with his patient which was a former patient and was trying to return to his office. Dr Bender came in and did not introduce himself to me at all. He told the patient he could only give him shots no meds because he had an opiod addiction and my friend said thats fine just give me shots. My friend told him about his issuse and said he didnt understand what this opiod addiction was about and this rude dr walked out of the room saying i cant treat him. I had just relocated my mother here from Maryland and with her being in such poor health, my main concern was not just getting her an appointment quickly as much as finding her a great doctor which I did get both when I found Dr. Bender. Ashley was so amazing from the start. She was so compassionate to my mother's situation and we feel she went above and beyond to make that appointment so quickly. You can feel the warmth from behind her desk as soon as you walk in. Then walks in Dr. Bender, whom I must state is not hard to look at, not one bit!! And he was just so awesome with my mother, he was kind, understanding,and treated her so gentle. He had such patience as he explained everything to her and myself as well. My mother was left in terrible shape by those she trusted. She is 77 and is very sick and was evicted, robbed, and hurt. I have been seeing Dr.Bender for a little over 10+ years, he is the most down to earth, and professional gentlemen, always courteous and polite when he is seeing you as a patient. I never have a complaint or problem with him, and his staff I totally adore, they are also awesome! I have known Katie for over 11+ years and she is the doctor awesome assistant!! A amazing dr!! I wasted a year with another dr who ignored my concerns but after seeing dr bender within a week he relieved some of my pain. He takes the time to sit down with you and talk to you like a human being addressing all & any concerns you may have. THANK GOD I found him.. Before going to him I laid in bed depressed & worthless now I have hope and can enjoy some of the life I've been missing for far too long.. Hands down he's the BEST!

Dr. Bender is the BEST. I wish he was a PCP. Super Dr. with plan for getting my back better. I moved out of NPR 5 years ago & I have never been able to find anyone that could meet his standards. The Greatest in his field too. I went to others, that didn't help me at all.

Takes the time to explain what your condition is and suggest a simple exercise to do. Let's hope this works. He is very courteous.

Dr. Bender has kept me out of a Wheelchair and pain free without the use of heavy drugs for over a decade. <3

Dr bender has provided pain mgmt for both my son and me for several years now. While his office does stay very busy, doc will always slow down if there is a real concern or question. And his staff is even better! But don't just go there looking for pills...this is really for folks with pain issues. :-)

Dr. Bender has been treating me for over 5 years and in the beginning, I wasn't sure of his methods. I was morbidly obese and close to 500lbs when I began with his practice. He explained how important it was to excersise and basically, put me on a bicycle, along with cutting my total intake of pain meds. I am now in the 200lb range, still battling pain and always will due to the abuse to my body, but I am proud to recommend Dr. Bender and his staff as they really care, and get results. He is a really nice man and I have never been made to feel uncomfortable in any way. If you are in true need of help to have a better quality of life, then the Spine and Pain Clinic is for you. I have been going to Dr. Bender for about 3 years. Never once has he offered pain medicine. My back condition has been diagnosed as a deformity and his treatments have made me able to go about my daily life without constant pain. His demeanor and attention to my concerns are without doubt part of my recovery. I would recommend him to anyone with a medical condition he could treat.
