Great doctor! From check in to check out, a pleasant visit all around. Everyone is helpful and polite.

Been under Dr. Atienza's care since Dec 2021. He and the entire Va Oncology staff have shown compassion and a willingness to solve my issues. Could not have been more professional in their efforts. I (Mike Tilley) have complete confidence in their knowledge and skills.

Dr. Daniel Atienza is one of the best on his field. He's done wonders regarding my mother's health issues and also other members in my family. I knew when I choose him as her Oncologist u made the right decision

Very kind, very thorough, good listener

Dr. Atienza is always kind and never hesitates to spend as much time as I need to understand my care plan. The entire VOA Obici staff is caring and supportive. I would love to see name badges displayed as I have a lot of trouble remembering names. It embarrasses me to keep having to ask familiar faces their name.

Dr. Atienza is very knowledgeable and professional. He listens to what his patients have to say and answers questions truthfully but with compassion. His staff and all the nurses at Virgina Oncology are super to work with. The only negative thing I have to say about the practice is the wait time to see the doctor. I have waited as long as an hour and a half past my appointment time. Has annoying as that is I still would not want to be seeing a different oncologist.

Based on my 2 visits to the office of Dr. Atienza, he appears to be well versed in his practice. He took his time explaining, in detail about my illness and what to expect. He also explained the medications and the possible side effects. I did not quite understand all the medical terminologies he used but he reiterate them in plain language. I was impressed with his attitude and professionalism.

I visit Dr Atienza every 3 months. I get labs done and he goes over them with me. He fully explains everything to me and what’s going on. He ordered a couple tests recently and nothing has changed and that’s a good thing.

Dr. Atienza is always willing to listen and answer questions.

Dr. Attendance is a caring compassionate caregiver whom seems really concerned about the best care of his patients. That means a lot in situations like this. He listens to you and hears what you say. Not like some doctors who just talk at you instead of talking to you.

Could not have been better, took time to answer any question or concerns I had. Very professional and caring. The whole oncology team is top notch. Fell like they have my well being as priority one!!

I am always greeted in a friendly manner. All nurses and techs associated with Dr Atienza obviously respect and like him. Other patients reflect the same confidence. You are assured expert treatment of your cancer and his forthright honest assessments of diagnosis and prognosis are welcome and help me choosing course of treatment.

Dr Atienza was extremely thorough. He took his time and reviewed my past history. I felt like he was actually listening to what I had to say which is rare these days! The staff from receptionist to the nurses were friendly and welcoming.

Dr Atienza was very thorough and explained all of my test results in a manner in which I could understand.

When you first walk into an office like this I was expecting sad and cranky patients. Instead the majority came in with smiles on their faces and laughter. It was there and then I knew that Dr. Atienza was the doctor for me. The doctor explains all my questions in language I understand.

Dr. Atienza was my mother's Oncologist for many years. He was always supportive, compassionate and went above and beyond the care of a typical doctor. Dr. Atienza is the reason my mother survived and thrived for many years with a terminal illness.

Dr. Atienza takes the time to listen and answer questions you may have. He also explains your bloodwork test results clearly. It is good to have a Doctor that shows he cares about your healing.

On site visit was changed to phone follow up. The labs I had done the week before were explained.

My husband and I have both been treated by Dr. Atienza and his team. We are very pleased with our treatment, our questions are always answered and return phone calls are made in a timely manner. Sometimes there is a wait before seeing Dr. Atienza but I know he has many patients and we know when we finally see him, we have his undivided attention. We are thankful for all he has done for both of us. We strongly recommend Dr. Atienza and his team.

Couldn't be a worse dr. This man literally did nothing for his cancer patient. Your best bet is to immediately find another doctor as soon as possible. Don't wait for this guy to treat anything, because by the time he even thinks about it, it will be too late.

I would defenitely recommend Dr. Atienza to anyone. He is a good listener and he explains my treatment options clearly.

Dr. Atienza has been my oncologist throughout my cancer treatment. He is always caring, professional, knowledgeable and willing to listen. The team that worked with him was also outstanding. I would highly recommend Dr. Atienza to my family and friends.

He has been taking great care of my sister for over four years now. If it wasn't for him she would have been gone a long time ago. Thank you for doing such a great job and being so kind.

Laughed at me when I asked wuesrions about my dads diagnosis with lung cancer Just wanted to cut into him without finding out what type of cancer it was and did not have the tests in hand when we came to his appointment... they Scheduled us to the PET scan and an MRI of his brain but did not know where we had the test that even though they were the ones who scheduled us for them. He also did not have any of the results when we came to his office and got the radiologist to read the report to him over the phone. Very slack for an oncologist and made me cry when he laughed at my dads serious condition.
