YES! Seeing Doc was the best decision I have made. This was my eighth spine procedure and this has been the best outcome I have had in the last 13 years. I have had really unpleasant, terrible complications that required additional surgeries and months and months of antibiotics. Coming from a neuro background I had a good idea of what all was going on and I knew the risk I was in for. I had been misdiagnosed for 8 months by 5 different docs. Dr. Donich listened to me, more importantly he listened to my suture allergies. I was able to get in to see him fast and was able to have my disc replacement fast. I had had constant killer headaches, I felt like I had a bear trap clamped on the left side of my neck and fire burning through my arms into my hands. Since my MVA. Within a hour of waking up it was gone. I am S shocked how well things have gone. After having such awful unnecessary complications I feel like I’m getting my life back. I wish I could go back 13 years ago and had him work on me in the first place. His staff is great and the staff at ACH is a fantastic hospital. The key is they are well staffed and their HCP to patient ratio was much lower than other much larger hospitals that can’t keep folks. I have no problem taking the 2 1/2 hour drive back up for care.

Best Doctor my son ever had! He worked miracles on his back. God has blessed him with amazing talent!

Dr. Donich is the best!! I have had 3 surgeries with him, and 2 with previous doctors, and there is no comparison!! My spine is totally deteriorated due to injury, and it’s only because of him that I can walk!!! He is outstanding!!

My doctor referred me to this office three weeks ago. I called three times with no answer. In three weeks, I am yet to receive a call back!!! This is beyond unacceptable and I will not go to an office who doesn’t call people back. I have waited in a lot of pain for help, but this office could care less.

My wife was referred here because the neurologist told her she needed to see a neurosurgeon. Before this "neurosuegeon" even came into the exam room, he'd already made up his mind he wouldn't do anything to help her. Doctor was very stand offish, wouldnt let my wife even finish her sentences. She left in tears. Couldn't recommend this doctor or office any less. Was very upset to learn midway through my surgery that “Dane Donich” left the surgery room to yell at his bad receptionist. She deserved it. Anyhow- Would give this a one star but his feet were not to be messed around with. He had some nice plantars. Dr. Donich performed my neck surgery. He did an awesome job. Never made me feel stupid for any question i asked. Made sure i was well informed before and after surgery. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs surgery.

Lower back pain due to cancer, and he knew that but did spinal surgery anyways. Ended up worse than before.

Dr Donich is a very caring physician. When my husband needed surgery he explained everything so we could understand whst was going to happen and answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns we had. He is a great doctor.

Never saw the doctor but schedule an appointment in early July. Their first available appointment was September 24th at 330PM. I showed up for my appointment today and they don't even have me in the system or book appointments that late in day.

Ugly separation. Office of Dr Donich has closed and they are asking everyone to pay for their OWN Medical records. Cannot contact their office. Do not pay them a cent. Get your MRI/CT scans from your hospital. Seems like a scam here.

Dr. Donich was very friendly as was the staff. I went in, to find out that I had a deformity in my L5 S1 in which I would have to have fusion surgery. I was suffering from spinal headaches and my lower back was "dislocating" for lack of a better way to describe what was happening, numbness in my legs and other smaller symptoms. Well about 6 months or so ago I had to have an xray on my back and found out that my fusion was in the wrong spot to promote healthy spinal structure and that if I dont get proper care for it I would need mid back and neck surgery later in life or I could end up in a wheel chair, which this surgery was supposed to prevent. I am starting to get spinal headaches again it's been about 6 or 7 years since the surgery. Also my back dislocated again for the first time since that surgery a couple weeks ago. I'm so sad/mad I dont know what to do about it. But this stinks. Dr. Donich was very friendly as was the staff. Dr. Dana Donich is an incredible physician. We is warm and caring and an excellent surgeon. He is an amazing person. I am blessed to have him perform my spine surgery.

After receiving a confirmation page with the highlighted date, time, and location of my appointment, I went all the way to the Streetsboro location only to find out that the doctor was in Medina that day, not Streetsboro. I live in Medina and had to arrange for a ride to Streetsboro, which is 40+ minutes. After calling the office, they confirmed that the doctor was in Medina that day, and offered precisely zero recognition of their mistake. Upon arrival at the actual location, we were offered a nonchalant “Sorry”. Extremely unprofessional and I will never recommend this person to anyone I know. This review is for Dr.Paul Hartzfeld. I had a ruptured disc C5-6 from a car accident, then ruptured c 6-7. I work in the physical therapy field so I did the conservative route, which is ice, heat, acupunture, electric stimulation, tens unit, massage and traction. I also went to an excellent chiropractor who got me a neck apparatus that distracted the vertebrae to hydrate the disc. All these things helped me to continue to work full time at a job that requires me to lift people often. Finally though the disc began to flatten because they were ruptured and impinging on the nerve mostly c 5-6. I could have gotten a fusion surgery but heard that often times the joints above and below the fusion break down withing 10 years. I heard about the mobi C artificial disc replacement which maintains the mobility on the internet and it displayed what doctors in the state of Ohio did this artificial disc. So I went to see Dr. Hartzfeld and Found him to have a wonderful bedside manner. He took time to answer all my questions. The surgery took about 1.5 hours to do a 2 level mobi C implants. I woke up with throat soreness from the tube(intubation) and a mild pain at C 8 level which the Dr. Said was like a tendonitis from distracting the vertebraes. I stayed overnight in the hospital and was given pain medication so had no trouble sleeping. Only had to wear neck brace when in the car for the first two weeks. I was not allowed to drive for 2 weeks, I was only a passenger. Today is my 2 week mark and I am having no pain or numbness at all and I can drive now. Had I had a fusion I would be in a cervical collar for months. I gave Dr Hartzfeld a 5/5 rating and am very thankful to God and him for finally being pain free! This review is for Dr.Paul Hartzfeld. Dr. Donich was a lifesaver for me! He performed a cervical fusion at C3-4, C4-C5 & C5-C6, an ulnar nerve release and carpal tunnel release. I am a 36 year-old active female that tried everything before deciding to have surgery. I spent about two years fighting through the pain and many sleepless nights. I tried chiropractic, physical therapy, epidural injections, yoga, rest, etc. and nothing helped. I was so scared to have such a major surgery at a young age especially after hearing so many horror stories, but after getting three opinions, I saw Dr. Donich on a Monday and he operated on the following Friday. After the surgery, he met with my husband and told him, "I saw the problem and I fixed it...you're wife will have a full recovery." I spent 3 days in the hospital and a week resting at home and was back to work in an office environment. I wore a neck brace at night and while traveling in a car (no driving during this time) for 30 days. I also had to wear a bone stimulator everyday for period of time as well. I was back to the gym walking the track and using the elliptical after a couple of weeks and back to yoga/running 60 days post surgery. I did do PT at his office as well, which I would highly recommmend. His staff is amazing and largely contributed to my success. I am now one year post surgery and 100% painfree! I did follow all of his post-op recommendations and had a very healthy diet as well. I am so happy I made the decision to have the surgeries, my only regret is waiting the two years to do it. I have zero restrictions. I practice yoga, run, lift weights, etc. I lead a healthy, happy life now. Thank you Dr. Donich and your entire staff! Dr. Donich was a lifesaver for me! An extremely professional attitude was the first thing that I noticed. He answered all questions regarding the surgery. The nurses at the hospital asked who my surgeon was. When I told them Dr. Donich they gasped as the guy was God himself. That made me feel better right before going in. When he appeared at the end of the gurney prior to the operation he had quite the air of confidence which also made me feel better. The surgery went quite well and I went home within 24 hours. All is well

All the staff were friendly, caring and most of all understanding. They were able to get me an appointment within the week and Dr Hartzfeld did my surgery the next week. I am feeling better daily and thankful there is a Dr and staff that care about you the patient. #Bestcareever!

Dr. Dane Donich is an articulate surgeon with teriffic skills. He has completed four different procedures on me personally with the best results. His team is excellent as well.

He fixed a fusion in my neck that was done by another doctor. After that he preformed, a back surgery I needed. I would never go to a Orthopedic doctor again. Doctor Donich is a Neurologist that's who I would trust with any questions or concerns. He will be truthful,not just operate. I have recommended him to many of my friends who have recommended him to their friends and family.
