Dr. Dana Janette Sari

Dr. Sari was kind, patient and thorough. She did not come off as judgemental or rude as some other ratings would suggest.

I wish it was possible to not even have to give a rating I walked out of that office today and complete tears never in my life have I felt so disrespected I asked for help filling out my paperwork that was never emailed to me I had to prove to them that I never even received the email and they said that they did not have the time to help me so I had to reschedule my appointment for 2 months later when I've already waited 3 months for this appointment that I had today then on top of it I had to deal with the attitude of the staff members so needless to say I will never step foot in this office ever again you guys are so rude and disrespectful you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for treating people the way that you guys treat people y'all seriously need an attitude adjustment and look in the mirror and realize that y'all are human beings just like everybody else who walks through those doors there's a reason why people go to doctors to get testing for what y'all test for we need help I needed help today and y'all did not help me you told me to go home and wait like I said before you guys should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves and there is such a thing called karma and I really hope that it does catch up to y'all and yes I said what I said I really hope you all have a great day and I would give zero Stars if I could but unfortunately I can't

Dr. Sari did a great job listening and made me feel very comfortable during our initial visit.

Very negative pre-appointment paperwork focusing on Insurance Provider failures and also balance billing (which is not allowed in Virginia or with Medicare). Short and less than polite on phone when called.

I had to see dr sari because I wanted weight loss surgery. She’s not the kind of dr you go to for therapy. She does an evaluation to see if you can have the surgery. When she told me I couldn’t have surgery right away I was really mad and hated her. But she was right. I went to the therapist she told me too and realized the way I was eating was awful and I was drinking way to much. It’s been about a year since I had surgery and I’m almost at my goal weight. My diabetes went away. I eat way better and don’t drink anymore. Making me wait six months before I had surgery was the right thing and I’m glad she made me do it. I even still see the therapist even though I don’t have to anymore.

Excellent provider. Dr. Sari is knowledgeable and caring. She runs on time and her office staff was efficient and helpful. I truly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend Dr. Sari!

If I could give Dr. Sari zero stars I would. She is condescending...rude...aggressive...not compassionate...not understanding...not a good listener...not kind...you know, all the qualifications of a good psychiatrist. She will make her mind up about you and cut you off before you can even explain yourself. Since she doesn't LISTEN she will misquote you. If you want to feel worse after seeking help then by all means go see her.

Took my mother in for a dementia evaluation. She made was what an extremely difficult and frustrating situation much better for my mother and the whole family. Was very compassionate with what was very bad news.
