Dr. Damon W. Brantley

Dr. Brantley is a very good doctor, he listens to your concerns and doesn't dismiss your concerns. I also love the fact he is a Godly man and prays over you prior to procedures.

It’s rare to find a doctor that cares about not only the job of getting a patient well but the patient. I could not have asked for better doctor to see me through this. I know I’m more than just a chart. He is a great person and doctor and I’m thankful I was put under his care.

Kind and professional

Dr. Brantley and his staff saved my life, literally! My appendix ruptured, and I choose to try and ignore it, but by divine intervention went to the er, barely able to function, and within 12 hours he had it out and I was on my way to recovery. Took a lot of doing, some out-patient procedures and all together two weeks in the hospital, and about a three month recovery in total, but not only did I survive, over four years later I have zero effects from what very well could have been my demise. Don't know a lot about medicine, but was told I had the highest white-blood cell count they had ever seen. Lot's of infection, which could have killed me, but thanks again to the great Doctor! I had to have my gallbladder removed by Dr Brantley and I am forever grateful. Awesome surgeon. The pain that I was in cannot be compared to anything else that I have experienced. He was able to remove a gallbladder full of gallstones with no issues. I am writing this review a few years late but still no less relevant. I do not miss it and haven’t had any issues at all with the surgery or it being gone. People ask about my scar from my surgery but it is very small. Thanks Dr B. Dr. B is a lying, poorly skilled, erratic surgeon who endangers the health and lives of his trusting pts. He botched my gall bladder removal by leaving some stones in my pancreas. He failed to correct a lateral abd. Wall hernia which now requires immediate surgery to keep my right kidney from pushing through the 1 1/2 inch hole he left on my abd. Wall. Don't trust this money hungry fake who will hurt rather than cure you. He " preys on" his.sick patients. This "praying" DR "preys" on his ill patients. Brantley supposedly performed a small right lateral abdominal wall hernia repair on me in 2017. The wound never properly healed, but continue to swell and increase in size. Until it resembled a "pillow" under the skin on my right side. When I showed him the lack of healing, he told me to purchase a truss and wrap it tightly around my waist. Being a trusting fool, I did this. The lump continue to swell and grow. Last month I returned to Brantley with the same complaint. He ordered a CT scan, then told me that I was "too fat for surgery" Return when I lost 25-50#, I am at 29 BMI, overweight not obese. Another surgeon has schedule me for immediate surgery because my right kidney is almost pushing through the hernia tear DR B left me with an untreated 1 1/2 tear in my abdominal wall. Brantley is a dangerous,careless, poorly skilled surgeon who is a threat to the health and life of his patients. He needs to pray for himself.

Almost killed my dad by providing the wrong answers to my family’s questions of his procedure and pre operative condition. Post operation, he was negligent for over a year to my family members condition. Said family member ended up needing a completely different surgeon, who said Dr Brantley should have never allowed family members condition to go even 6 months, let alone a year. Absolutely unacceptable.

Dr Brantley has a great bedside manner and always considered my well being. He insisted on speaking with me and my wife about aftercare together a d answered all questions in a manner we understood. He is Excellent. I met him because of emergency surgery and haven't been to his office yet for the follow up. He seems to put patient first so the office visit I'm sure will be great.
