Dr. Dallas Shone

He refuses to help people with fissures who have them where the sun doesn't shine and is very painful. He refuses to do anything to help you in that situation.

After reading several reviews for Dr. Shone, I was nervous to see him. I had a perianal abscess and fistula from issues with childbirth 6 months prior. It was dismissed as hemorrhoids by my primary doctor 3 times, so I was in so much prolonged pain that I didn’t care. I just wanted to be seen. I was able to get an appointment with him 2 days after my referral, which made me even more nervous since everyone knows specialists take weeks, if not months to schedule. He didn’t seem dismissive or worried about seeing the next patient during my appointment. He answered all of my questions, and asked a few times if I had any more questions. He didn’t seem to “think of himself as a god”, nor was he even cocky, just a little eccentric.

Love his sense humor very nice and and does his best to answer your questions

My PCP office made an appointment for me, but my symptoms were so sever that I wanted to see Dr Shone sooner. One brief phone call and I got an earlier appointment! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Excellent service

Very professional and kind. After all gallbladder tests coming back normal and pain being gone, I still wanted a second opinion of what could be happening. Even though I felt ridiculous keeping my appt since symptoms were mostly gone (after having them off/on for a year), he listened to my concerns. Gave another simple test for another possibility and offered steps to take if pain/issues arise in the future. Great doctor & staff.

I meet with Dr. Shone and he is a very nice man. He wanted me to have a CT done and a Endoscopy . Will the nurse gave me papers. Then My Ct was not approved by BlueCare. And for 2 days I have called everyone about the CT, well they said I did not need it and some said I did. And They told me Dr. Shone was the one to get it approved. Okay so I call his office and they said they would call me back. The next day a women named Michelle call and left a number to call back I did. She was on lunch. Called again. Finally I told them I would cancel the Endoscopy in a hour if someone can not call me and tell me something. Then I get a call and this woman said she was working with BlueCare but they wanted more information. Then she said I could check. I said to cancel Endoscopy. She said I should not do that because of throat cancer. But I would not do till I had a CT. And than this woman accused me of calling her a lair and yelled at me I hung up and canceled Appointment called BlueCare

Dr. Shone is the sweetest doctor! Most doctor are so rude if your over weight. He’s only mentioned it once and said if I lose like 5% that it’ll help with fatty liver! He’s amazing!

A nightmare. No anesthesia of any kind. Although he assured in office that I would not remember procedure. Even the OR nurses promised same. I will never forget the 5 minute procedure, country music playing and two nurses telling me to breath as though I was having a baby. I screamed and begged him to remove. Latter claimed insurance wouldn't pay for sedation. Insurance bodily declared that was false. Was in hospital one month latter with infection from rectum to duodenum. He is a sad disgrace.

Doesn't listen to patients, thinks he's a god, I wish him a better doctor for himself than what he was to me

Dr. Shone is a very nice man who cares about his patients. He saw my father-in-law for what was diagnosed as gerd by pcp and Dr. Shone knew immediately that it was his heart. If not for Dr. Shone, my father-in-law would be dead with his heart. Has saw several members of my family and has always been great with them.

Took my husband to see Dr. Shone and his nurse practitioner, both were wonderful and took plenty of time and answered all of our questions. He was really nice and had a nice accent but he knew what he was talking about.

He did a colonoscopy for my husband and me, two years apart. He was kind, answered all our questions, didn't rush us at all. I was rather worried about my husband's and Dr. Shone couldn't have been any more supportive.

Dr. Shone believes himself to be a god. Without even looking at the patient, he claims to have a diagnosis. He dismisses the concerns of the patient with a wave of his hand as he walks out of the room, on to the next patient. He has no desire to address the real issue. He's simply looking at volume. Number of patients = money. The surgical staff even joke that he's the fastest surgeon for an endoscopy. He can do one in less than 5 minutes!
