First time, I waited such a short time before doctor saw me. Nurse was very courteous and provided necessary information. Mike, doctor's assistant, explained me about my MRI results thoroughly. Dr. Pelinkovic was very nice and very attentive about my issue. Explain all the issue and encourage me to do a regular exercise. This is the first time, doctor took enough time to answer any questions I had. I would not mind to see him again in future.

He took on my back surgery at the last minute because of a change at the practice, and even though I hadn't worked with him before, Dr. P was sensitive to my circumstances and mindful. I have no hesitation working with him, and am glad to continue my healing journey with him as my doctor.

Dr. Pelinkovic treated me for a back pain. He concluded that I needed 2 vetibaes fused. He performed surgery on me and fused the wrong Vertibeas. He kept me on 3 powerfull narcotics for over a year. Kept telling me I hadn't healed yet. Saw 2 more surgeons and they both told me the reason I hadnt healed. Wrong surgery. I have been disabled for ten years now.Cannot work cannot lift anything cannot bend over. Thanks Dr. Pelinlovic. The reason things never show up is because he settles out of court so his record is clean.

On 12/19/2017 I was in a bicycle accident with a dog and did not have any feelings in my body. Initial prognosis was paraplegic. Dr. Pelinkovic was sent my MRI and other information to his home, he had work earlier in the day. He revived the information and said that I had suffered a critical Cervical spinal injury and recommend that he come back in a perform surgery. He came in and started surgery at 11:30 pm C3 thru C6 inserting metal cages finishing at 5:00 am. Do to his quick response and surgery and the high quality of Physical and Occupational therapy at MarianJoy Rehabilitation, I am walking and doing most of the stuff before the accident.

This is my spine surgeon, I was pregnant during my surgery and I was his first patient in such a state. It was a very scary time for our family and he saved, me, my spine and my child. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He was patient, clear, friendly and actually cared, I was not just a number to him like most doctors. If you are in need of a surgeon, look no further. He is the best of the best.

I 've been seeing Dr. Pelinkovic since 2016 --- Had lumbar fusion in June 2016 -- surgery was a success -- Dr. Pelinkovic is a wonderful doctor -- explains everything in detail & I never feel rushed -- His staff was superior with working to get the referrals needed for surgery & everything needed for my Short Term disability -- Also for paperwork needed upon returning to work --

Excellent caring surgeon. Always sits down and reviews X-rays and treatment with me. Before his surgery-ibuprofen 3 times daily..after fusion surgery-no pain meds. A miracle!

Continued. I was being wheeled to my room after my spinal fusion when I woke up. Immediately I had right sided sciatica! Pain from the surgery as well as severe sciatica in my right leg, horrible experience. 2 years and 7 months later I am still suffering. My insurance changed, I tried to make an appt, I couldnt see him because of my insurance. Now I have no insurances, I asked if I could pay out of pocket and today I was told he doesn't except patient paying out of pocket! WHAT!???

I chose Dr. P for the herniated disc in my neck. He said I could try PT, but I'd need surgery anyway. We did the surgery. All follow up's have been with his staff and I have felt like I was in good hands. Recently contacted him again about similar pain. This time we are trying PT first and we'll go from there! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I was referred to Dr. Pelinkovic for sciatic pain caused by a herniated disc. Dr. Pelinkovic was very friendly and took the time to explain the diagnosis, options and answer questions. I opted for surgery, specifically a microdiscectomy. Dr. Pelinkovic performed the surgery and the follow-up. The surgery experience at Elmhurst Hospital was excellent, and Dr. Pelinkovic also conducted a thorough post-surgical visit. The procedure was successful and I am pain free.

Dr. Pelinkovic is a very experienced and highly knowledgeable surgeon. I was very comfortable with his explanations about the surgery I received, and my pre-op and post-op patient education was excellent. His staff was also very competent and quickly responded to my questions.

Last year I beat cancer but I was left with severe back pain. It became unbearable. I saw a Dr but we didn't connect. I was recommended to see Dr P for a second opinion. I knew he was the guy. He took time explaining how to treat me, minimally invasive w/ minimal scars and less downtime. Hes compassionate and listened. I had surgery and I can't express my gratitude. Where I once had pain, I feel I have my life back. Thk you, Dr P! I was able to cook for my family for the holidays! God Bless U!

Very poor after care. Walks out on you during appointments. Has nurses finish his appointments. Only provides 1 word answers. Would never recommend this guy to amyone. After double fusion. Total time in his office was maybe 2 minutes and I 1/2 minutes was him trying to find chart on computer.
