Dr. Whitaker performed knee replacement on me approx 3 weeks ago. His bedside manner is the best I have seen in my 68years on this earth. Very professional with a good sense of humor! I had three visits between April-July. Severe hip -leg problem. Injections didn't help, Physical therapy didn't help. 3rd visit nothing helped. Found another dr. he is doing a hip replacement after doing an MRI of my hip and spine.

Dr Whittaker did a fine job on my carpal tunnel release and I’ll be going back to him soon to have the other hand done. He is kind and considerate and explains conditions well.

Dr. Whitaker did a terrible job on my total knee replacement ! I am filing a complaint with the state.

Charged me $150 and showed up about 1.5 hours after the appointment time. In less than 5 minutes our appointment was over and he had referred me to a more qualified ortho down the hall. He stole my time and my money.

Not very helpful - I gained more from YouTube than I did from my visit to Dr Whitaker. I felt rushed during my appointment, as if I were wasting his time. He simply looked at my hand, felt around it and gave me steroids. Offered no explanation, other than "over use". Over a month later, my condition is worse - I'll be seeking another orthopedic doctor. I have been going to Dr. Whitaker for over 10 years and while my wait time to see him has been sometimes long my visit has always been very pleasant. Dr. Whitaker has always taken the time needed to explain what is going on with my knee. I never felt rushed or that I was just another patient. After 10+ years he comes into my appointments knowing me and knowing my condition which is rare today. Keep in mind I only see him once every 3-5 years. I truly appreciate his kindness and professionalism. Dr. Dale performed my rotator cuff surgery almost 15 years ago. He spent the time to explain in detail my situation and the procedure. He even followed up with a phone call the evening after surgery. My life was much improved after surgery and have not had any issues since. Thanks Dr. Dale!

Dr. Dale Whitaker has done a total hip replacement surgery and a rotorcuff surgery on me . I have recommended him many times to others. He is an excellent physician and has his patients best interest always.

One of the best in Jacksonville personality professionalism and skills you would miss out by not going to him.

An exceptional physician I'm lucky to have found him. Hes is very patient and caring I've been treated by him for more than one ailment he has always taken time to explain and recommend the best treatment for me with excelllent results.

Dr. Whitaker performed a hip replacement on me several years ago. It was transformative. He engaged me in the process....what I wanted to be able to do again without pain, what kind of hip device he wanted to use, etc. The entire process start to finish was great. I have been pain free for 9 years. My husband has been to him as well, and recently, my 12 year old son broke his wrist. I called to get an appointment with Dr. Whitaker, and once again, he was awesome! Highly recommemd!!

Dr. Whitaker cleaned up my knee a few years ago and it was great. I am having a totally different problem now and he is the first person I am calling. I took my kids when they had sports injuries to him as well. I trust him for my children and me.

Fantastic doctor. I was an out of town guest and I broke my elbow visiting family for Christmas. He was able to accommodate me we excellent care.
