I have been a patient of Dr. KOOISTRA’s for many years. He treated me for several things, the biggest being malignant melamine. I can’t imagine giving him or his staff anything BUT 5 stars. If you are looking for a dermatologist who knows his field, has clean orderly facilities and friendly staff, this is your man and office. I recommend him highly and without reservation. The doctor was great! If there was a separate review for the doctor and his office, I would put the review not under his name. But since there is none, I will put here what I experience overall. I have great experience until I talk to one of his employee who handles the billing department named 'Stacy' on Monday. I tried my best to be nice and respectful to INQUIRE about my bill, but instead I get this condescending tone and very passive aggressive verbal explanation. "...You are comparing apples and oranges, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!" Well, this is why I call to begin with... to inquire and to understand!!! It's like I'm talking to someone who's ready to fight you off the bat when your intention is not, but rather to inquire about the process. I was very respectful talking to her, but her tone of voice as if she's talking down and annoyed DID NOT HELP the situation at all. I just want to ask about my bill, all I need is a respectful explanation not someone who sounds like she's holding back to fight you. I WILL PAY MY BILL REGARDLESS, I just want to ask nice.
