Dr. Hardy was very thorough. He was on time and professional. He appears to have many instruments designed to elucidate the state of health of my eyes and I think we used them all. Dr. Hardy willingly and kindly answered all my questions about each part of the exam including the instruments. He was masked appropriately, and he himself cleaned everything we used for my exam where I could see him cleaning it. I liked that procedure as I have been very careful with my health throughout the pandemic. The staff was engaging and friendly. In addition Selena (I think) was helpful in finding frames that fit my needs. I tried on a lot of frames which she then was responsible for cleaning. She assured me that it was no problem to take care of that. She asked relevant questions and listened carefully to my concerns. She was particularly knowledgeable about what might happen if there were any problems. It’s good to know that Dr. Hardy and the South Valley Eyecare Center stands behind their work. It was a good experience and I would recommend Dr. Hardy et al to a friend. To be fair, the only reason I did not leave five stars was that I had to ask a couple of questions at the end of the visit that, to me, would have better been addressed in private. The answer was akin to “Everything’s fine.” I was glad to hear that. Perhaps if it had been other news the discussion would not have taken place as I was leaving. Dr. Hardy was very thorough. I've been seeing Dr. Hardy and his staff for several years and they are still as amazing as ever! 11/10 will visit again!

The staff was very helpful in helping me find the exact frames I used to wear even after the website said they were discontinued

If you want someone who is accurate, efficient, kind and caring then Dr. Dale Hardy and his eye care team is the Best! This was my first visit here and I had a great experience. Customer service from him and his team is OUTSTANDING! Making the appointment over the phone it was easy and fast. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Also getting a notification reminder a day before appt was nice. Location was easy to find. Just talking to Dr. Hardy for a bit you can tell how he genuinely cares so much about his patients and profession. He is so knowledgeable and helped me understand what was happening with my eyes. Everything was so clean and up to covid safety standards.I got contact lens this time but they do have quite a selection of frames to do glasses. I didn't feel rushed and they made sure my insurance covered all that it should. My last eye MD that I've been to for years retired and I was worried I wasn't going to find another exceptional MD. My old Optometrist retired and I was looking for a new one and Dr. Hardy was in network so I thought I would try and I could not be happier I did. He was so friendly and listened to what I was telling him. I also had major issues with the glasses I got at my last Optometrist's office and they were able to fix some of the problems at no cost and assured me that the glasses I am getting from them would not do the same and if I had any problems told me to bring them in and they would replace the lenses. I get nervous going to see doctors. Dr. Hardy was very patient and kind. He didn’t rush through your appointment like a lot of optometrists.

I have a unique prescription with my astigmatism. The team at South Valley has always been willing and patient with getting me a great result on my contacts. Rae they the cheapest? No, but they also are not the most expensive, and I would much rather pay a fair price for the great result that they provide.
