Dr. Dale Earl Braun

Dr. Braun and his staff are wonderful & kind people. He has performed 2 spine surgeries on me for herniated discs / pinched nerves. Both went wonderfully, with quick recoveries. My 2nd surgery was an emergency & he went above & beyond what I expected to get me taken care of in mere days. Very grateful to you Dr. Braun. Just a great doctor, & a good, down to earth human being.

Dr. Braun has operated on me twice and I couldn't be more pleased with the care I've received from him. Two successful spinal fusion surgeries have helped me get back on my feet. Other neurosurgeons failed to find the problem with my back but Dr Braun saw it right away. Dr. Braun and his staff are some of the most professional and respectful. So thankful for everything they've done for me. Highly recommend!

Choosing a surgeon is scary. You search and read reviews. My experience with Dr.Braun was excellent! From our first visit, through the surgery that changed my life and follow up visits. I certainly hope I never need him again but would do so without hesitation!

I had a s1 L5 fusion 8 years ago and had more issues than before my surgery!(pain everyday) Dr Braun wasted no time, knew exactly how to fix it and did!! I feel like I got my life back and could not be more grateful. A real Professional that truly cares about people. Thank you ????

My husband was in terrible pain, could barely walk with the help of a cane when he saw Braun. The following week he called the office to ask for pain medicine; no return. Next day he called and got the prescription. Surgery scheduler messed things up and my husband had to call our insurance and fixed it. The office manager lectured my husband and told him Braun didn't feel comfortable operating him and might not do it. Yet, next week they confirmed the surgery... There was more aggravation and disrespectful behavior from the part of the staff, but no space to relate. The last straw was a call from the hospital to let us know the surgery was cancelled because Braun felt uncomfortable. He even spoke with a lawyer. So, beware and make sure you first ask this man if he feels comfortable being your doctor, before he decides you make him "uncomfortable" or—who knows?—might even consider suing you for his discomfort! I wish someone would report him to the State Medical Board of OH.

i Have heard great things about Dr. Elskens and have no doubt he is as amazing as I have heard, but Libby up front was the epitome of poor reception. She spoke to me in such a condescending manner, like I was a clueless child. She made a mistake on my appointment then tried to place the blame on me, then very bluntly told me I would not be seen that day after waiting a month for my appointment. I loved Dr. Braun! I think he’s a super nice man and doesn’t try to push pharmaceutical drugs on you. I have no idea why anyone wouldn’t like him. I feel like he’s a very good doctor. His staff was very nice, too.

Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. He's Sandusky's poster-boy for medical malpractice insurance.

Dr Braun operated on my neck many years ago. Great guy and did a fantastic job. Plus a awsome guy.

Dr. Braun is an outstanding surgeon ( and a really nice guy!). Cannot say enough about how he helped my 89 year old mother. His staff is also great. They all go above and beyond!

Had Surgery and came out worse. Transferred to Cleveland Clinic had a second surgery to repair damage that had been done! Recommend going to Cleveland Clinic!

This Dr came recommended to my husband. He has been trying to contact the office to make an appointment for 2 Days & no one will answer the phone!! I guess we will be looking elsewhere.

Libby your office Manager is the most unprofessional person I have ever had the unpleasure of dealing with. I hope karma comes around full circle for you. Nobody should be spoken to like that, you should be ashamed of yourself.

In all my time and visits with doctor Braun he is always a pleasure to have for a doctor and always finds a way to make me smile or laugh and feel at ease with him and is always really down to earth with me. I had herniated disc surgery by him 3 years ago, I was in super bad condition and he helped give my life back and help me do normal things again (and I was only 26!) Having issues with neck now and he was very comforting and assuring with that as well and has offered me the help that I need

Dr. Braun was very unprofessional to me when I visited his office. To start out with he had very fowl language. He had already made his diagnosis before even speaking to me. Four other Drs have diagnosed me with having major to severe degenerative disc disease in my neck and lower back. And when he came in he told me I only "have a few gray hairs" in one spot in my spine. That I'm getting older and to basically get over it. He didn't answer any questions I had. He just brushed them off.

I am from the BOSTON area. Four weeks ago, I was visiting In-Laws in Sandusky Ohio. Without going into details of Medical condition, I needed EMERGENCY Neurological care that required hospitalization. I was admitted to Firelands Regional Medical Center. There is where I meet Dr. Braun, I believe that was one of the luckiest days of life. I debated coming back to the Boston Area for my Surgery, my condition was very serious. I would let Doc. Braun treat and cut me again If the situation arose.

Apparently my spine was "healthy", a little arthritis but not as most people my age. Fortunately this means surgery was not the answer to the stabbing pain I felt in my bottom and my hamstrings any time I sat for more than ten minutes and my lower back pain if I had to do any standing for more than an hour a day. He quickly made the diagnosis that it was not sciatica and my problem was I exercised and to stop. I'm a certified exercise specialist, but he didn't know that I know what I'm doing,

Very knowledgeable, Very helpful, Down to earth kind of Doctor. Doesn't try and talk above you. Great bed side manners. I would highly recommend him anytime.

I had a bad experience with Dr yoo so I came to dr Braun for a 2nd opinion and he wouldn't give me time of day and didn't look at my file for testing positive for carpal tunnel that was performed at their office by dr. Yoo's wife I should be feeling good now instead my wrists are still killing me and I am out a lot of money from going to these two doctors a lot of times.. this is very unprofessional and poor practicing. Dr.Braun said I did not talk to dr. Yoo in any way that's a big lie

This doctor was extremely rude and would not let me or my wife talk. He pushed extremely hard on my brain surgery location.

Terrible bedside mannors. One of those people who believes everything he says it right.

Very knowledgeable and compassionate physician. Cares about each patients outcome and will go the extra mile for successful results.
