Dr. Dafna W. Gordon

I recently underwent both an endoscopy and colonoscopy at the Pepper Rd. facility. The staff was highly professional and caring. My endoscopy was a followup to a previous procedure which had discovered the start to a potentially serious throat condition. At that time Dr. Gordon placed me on a medication that on the followup exam had all but disappeared. The colonoscopy was a five year followup that did show some changes that will be checked in a 3 year followup. Dr. Gordon made certain to take the time pre and post procedure to explain any questions, which were minimal due to the wonderful job the staff had doneonthe front end of my visit. Dr. Gordon is a very caring and professional practitioner, that I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an excellent Gastroenterologist.

I had a Colonscopy in the endoscopy suite of GI Partners of Illinois, LLC. My gastroenterologist, Dr. Dafna Gordon, performed my colonoscopy. She has done all my other ones as well. I highly recommend her and her staff! RN's Anna and Holly attended to me. They were awesome!

My experience was very positive. Everyone who assisted me, beginning with the office staff to Dr. Gordon and everyone in between, was kind, courteous, caring, capable, efficient and professional. They made what could have been an unpleasant experience for me pleasant.

Very organized office, Dr Gordon's staff was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the entire visit comfortable. Dr Gordon is an excellent doctor, she takes the time to explain procedures and made me feel very relaxed.

Dr. Gordon is super nice, she makes you feel at ease. My appointment was at 8:15 and my procedure started at 7:45!! Her nurses Ashley and Holly were fabulous! Ashley answered all of my questions. Holly was extremely kind, she kept me comfortable after the procedure. Lois, the anesthesiologist, was also super nice, she talked to me like she had known me for years, which really made me feel relaxed. I got there at 7:15 am and was on my way home at 8:55 am. What an incredible staff!!

Dr. Gordon was extremely professional, sincere, and understanding. I felt she truly listened to my concerns, as I was very anxious about doing my procedure. She thoroughly explained what she would be doing/results, and made me feel important as her patient. Her experience as a great healthcare provider is shown not only by her words, but her actions. I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon based my experience.

I have had four colonoscopies performed by Dr. Gordon and she is excellent. My most recent colonoscopy was done at the location in Lake Barrington. Dr. Gordon, Lois the anesthesiologist, nurses Ashley and Vicki and the entire staff were all highly efficient and my experience there was outstanding.

From the first phone call to set up an appointment to the recovery after a colonoscopy, my experience was wonderful. Now you may think, a colonoscopy, wonderful? The staff, the nurses and all who assisted were kind, compassionate and responded to my sense of humor. I felt very comfortable in the hands of Dr. Gordon. She and her staff explained everything about the procedure. In my past experiences with colonoscopies, i never had that much attention from another practice, nor the depth of information that Dr. Gordon and the others gave me. If you find yourself needing a colonoscopy, i have no qualms in recommending Dr. Gordon. She has a reputation of being one of the best and I can see why.

She is amazing! She is very informative , caring and thorough. I always feel like I can relax because I’m in good hands during any procedure. There is no one else I would go to for these procedures! Entire office is great too! They check on u the day after the procedure also. Great experience every time

This is my first visit with Dr. Dafna Gordon and I am pleased to say that I am very happy with doctor. Office staff was very friendly. RN Ashley, Joan were nice and friendly. Anesthesiologist Lois was nice and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely recommend doctor Gordon to family and friends.

I received a colonoscopy by Dr. Gordon. My experience was the best it could be. She was very personable and informative both before and after the procedure. The procedure went very smoothly. Vikki Kelly was the nurse who prepped me for the procedure. She was extremely professional, efficient, friendly and caring. I could not ask for better treatment by her, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Gordon.

I had an appointment today for a colonoscopy with Dr. Dafna Gordon today. I have to say from start to finish ( in and out ) at her office. I was highly impressed! From the person who greeted me at the door, to the receptionist that checked me in, to the nurses, Vikki and Kelly and Dr. Gordon. They all made a fairly uncomfortable situation very comfortable and actually pleasurable! They were all very professional and made me feel like I was the only patient there. It was an well oiled machine in every aspect. My appointment was at 11:15, I arrived at 10:15 and was on my way home at 12:15 - that's 2 hours total!! Perfect. I highly recommend them and recommend and having the procedure done at the office vs. the hospital. Thank You!

First colonoscopy can make you nervous for sure. Dr. Gordon and her staff are excellent! From the appointment making process all the way through, the staff are all so nice, helpful & organized. My first colonoscopy was easy and stress-free. Dr. Gordon is so kind and puts you at immediate ease. Nurses were wonderful, especially Alicia. Even the wonderful Lois who sent me to LaLaLand was amazing. Everyone's right when they say you're in good hands here.

Second time to have a colonoscopy procedures with Dr. Gordon. I cannot say enough about the friendliness, professionalism and courtesy of the entire staff. Dr. Gordon is so easy to talk to. She even answers my ridiculous questions. The facility is very clean and I had no hesitancy about about the sterilization protocol for Covid.

GI Partners of Illinois in Barrington is very professional and respectful. Very competent, friendly and compassionate staff. Recently had an Endoscopy performed by Dr Gordon. I was very reassured and calm about the procedure. Prep was efficiently handled by Joan. Procedure was explained by Lois and Theresa. Recovery was uncomplicated with assistance of Alicia. I have also had the same positive experience when a colonoscopy was performed at this location.

Today was my 4th colonoscopy with Dr Gordon. She is very compassionate and always explains each procedure & discusses my previous & current findings. Her staff is wonderful. They are all friendly and knowledgeable and throughly explain the procedure and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Dr Gordon.

Dr Gordon has done 3 colonoscopies for me over the past 15 years; my third one was today. She and her staff are excellent! She has a great bedside manner, as does her staff, and they are willing to spend as much time as I wanted to answer questions and explain the procedure. They are a very caring group. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Gordon and her assistants Margie/Moira were very attentive and sensitive to what my issues were for having a colonoscopy and for what took place during and after my procedure. I had a bad reaction to the procedure and they made sure the issues were addressed, taken care of and resolved before they allowed me to leave the facility. They called my home later in the day and the following day to see how I was feeling and progressing. I felt confident they were looking out for my best interest.

My experience was great from start to finish. The Staff is polite, kind and caring. Dr Gordon is very easy to talk to and has a great personality.

A great staff of professionals. The nurses working with me, Doug, Margie, and Moira, were exceptional. They put me at ease and made the whole experience much better than anticipated. I had a colonoscopy today. Everyone in this office was exceptional. From the receptionist to Dr. Gordon it was a pleasant experience. The RN’s, Margie & Moira were wonderful. Best IV stick I have ever had, literally didn’t feel it. The anesthesiologist was great. Everyone was happy, explained everything in detail, and made a tired, hungry, nervous patient feel totally comfortable.

Outstanding care from Dr as well as entire staff at the Pepper Rd facility. Being my first Colonoscopy they were super diligent in informing every step of the way....and keeping it light to ease the anxiety! You can tell the staff and Dr get along fabulous and support each other.

As one other person who left a review about Dr Gordon stated, whether it be an office visit or a colonoscopy, Dr Gordon really treats you like a person. And when you do have a question for her she never makes you feel like you asked a stupid question. She will take her time answering your questions. The best!

Dr. Gordon is wonderful. Caring & compassionate. Very thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon.

Best doctor! Doesn't push unnecessary medicine only does what is needed. Only downfall is the front desk is not good at getting you in. Luckily I have been there long enough I have direct line to nurse desk so I am seen on emergency when it's needed so no more not getting in after ER visits.

Attended me in the hospital, but would not schedule me for a quick follow up appointment like my primary and referring doctor asked for. An ultra sound was talked about in the hospital, but was never ordered. After discharge from the hospital, my primary care doctor ordered the ultrasound and gallstones were found.
