On Augest 24th 2014 I took my wife to AMC E R because we thought she had had a stroke. Her left leg was paralized as was her left arm and she could not stand with out tipping over. The 2 nurses did an excelent job of doing promp actions, putting in I V etc. When Dr. Walsh came in He was wearing a Dr.s mask because he said he had a cold. ok. after examing her he said it mimiced a stroke but didnt think it was. I asked if he could do more checking He said well we could do a ct scan but it probly would not show anything. So they did do it, and he came back and said yes just as he had suspected it didnt show anything. My wife said well what am I going to do, he said go home it will probly just go away. She was crying because she could not get around and was afraid of falling. He said if its not better in the morning to call her family Dr. Which we did the next morning only to find out that her Dr. was now just a part time Dr. and would not be in till Tuesday. So we had to wait another day! Finaly at 2:45 Her Dr. said we could get an M R I at AMC We rushed back to Appleton from Waupaca and at about 4:30 they said she had indeed had actualy 2 strokes. It is now Oct 10th 2014 and she remains at Weyauega Health Care Center! THIS IS OUR MEDICAL SYSTEM! BE WEARY!!!! On Augest 24th 2014 I took my wife to AMC E R because we thought she had had a stroke.
