Dr. Cynthia S.B. Tucker

Dr. Tucker is very rude and disrespectful. She told me on multiple occasions that I was too fat and that I needed to lose weight. When we talked about a possible c section with my first child she straight up said "nope cause you're way too fat and will more than likely get an infection." But then we ended up with an emergency c section cause she wouldn't listen to me about inducing labor. She has no respect for her patients and refuses to listen to them. Does anyone know where Dr Cynthia Tucker went? She’s my Gyn and her office number is disconnected? Anyone know where she is? I can’t get a refill on hormones. Help.

Firstly, Dr. Tucker is a super woman in my opinion and I love her to death. This review is regarding my visit January 2, 2019. I was given a prescription, but upon review (couldn't pick up till after 5), the warnings were too extreme for me and so I called the very next day for a different prescription. After several calls My call was returned but needed a follow up call. I never got the follow up call and never got the prescription. I called again on the 4th. Friday. Still 2 days later and no prescription, and was put on hold for 17 minutes and 23 seconds. I called again and was hung up on by the answering service...while I was being polite. Now I have to go back in person to get another prescription because, "They're too busy to assist me!" Like they're the only office in the world who is busy. We all have busy lives. It's about the service we receive, being courteous, and treated like we're cared about. Not like we're an imposition to them. Dr. Tucker is amazing. She listens, spends the time to understand/explain but doesnt force you to do anything you are not okay with. She is the first doctor I have had in the past 7 years that I feel 100% comfortable with.

I don't know where all of these terrible reviews have come from for Dr. Tucker. She is amazing. She delivered both of my babies and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Horrible experience. Dr. Tucker delivered my daughter via emergency C Section while under contract as a travel doc at our rural hospital. Her bedside manor was terrible and gave orders to nurses without thinking things through. She caused me an immense amount of unnecessary pain and suffering. Her negligent orders to the nursing staff nearly killed me. She smelled of cigarettes and was very unkind when talking with me. I am an educated professional woman with years of communication experience.

I would rate negative stars if I could. I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor's office! everything about this place was very unprofessional! first time: i was scheduled in for paperwork, during their lunch hours! i had to wait for them to open the office back up. second time: was finally scheduled for treatment. when I got there, the order had not arrived. no one bothered to call to let me know. third time: I waited more than an hour to see the doctor. finally did my appt for birth control. I go home and it's not even in my arm!! fourth: scheduled a follow up, again I wait more than needed. The care I received from this woman 6 years ago has harmed my life greatly. She gave me an unnessicary hysterectomy at age 22 and I am now 28 and suffering from the greatest grief of loss. She removed my uterus with the IUD still in. Which is against the law. Be advised. Not sure if she still practices in this way but she went ahead and scheduled the hysterectomy without any previous medical history reports or anything. Dr Tucker is amazing but the staff is horrible. Called 3 weeks ago to make an appointment and to this day I still don't have one. They keep telling me they'll call me back but I'm always the one that calls back and they still can't make an appointment for me. I really like Dr. Tucker. She is no nonsense and does not waste any time in the office. She answers any questions I may have very thoroughly and efficiently. My only complaint is the wait time is rather long once they get you into the room. They remove you from the lobby quickly, but then you sit in the office for eternity waiting for the dr. The longest I have waited was an hour. Bring a book, it is worth the wait.

I think Dr. Tucker is great. She always answers my questions and is easy to talk to. She is nice and has good bed side manner. She delivered my son 2 years ago with no complications. I would recommend her to anyone. The only thing I would say about this office is the front office staff need to be more aware of patients in their waiting room (keep their voices down, especially when discussing PHI). Also, the music was too loud, and seemed inappropriate for an office setting.

I would recommend Dr. Tucker to anyone. She is kind and caring but quick. You won't spend all day there. The staff is wonderful.
