Maybe she used to be good. I have Been seeing her for thyroid disease for two years, she MIA To say the least. My thyroid medication hasn’t done a thing for me. I’ve requested a couple times to help with this, she says sure but then I hear nothing back. I finally reach out to the office out of frustration as I am feeling worse as time goes on. Wouldn't take my dog to her. Do not recommend.

Office lady was really really rude. Refused to refill my prescription until they could see me.. in a month...

I have been a patient of Dr. Abacan for several years now. I was originally sent there to help me learn why my osteopenia developed into osteoporosis. She ordered a full blood panel and ordered a review of all my bone scans. She discovered that my most recent bone scan was incorrectly read and consequently I was misdiagnosed. She asked me pertinent questions of family history, my bone health history, my exercise routine and diet. And - she discovered my thyroid level was extremely low and explained why I had been suffering with chest and leg pains. She treated me with this complete understanding of my medical condition. I trust her implicitly. She is conscientious, thorough and wonderful teacher. I have been a patient of Dr. Abacan for several years now. Worst doctor. Would not take my dog her. Very Curt, unfriendly, dismissive. Spent a whole seven minutes with me and declared I was fine. A goiter is "normal".

I think Dr. Abacan is great. Listens very well and is very thorough in her appointments explaining why and how things work. She is always in a happy mood and pleasant.

Not impressed

I saw Dr. Abacan today for the first time. She was wonderful! Very informative, patient and took all the time I needed. Office staff great too! I would recommend.

She listens and really knows what to do to help people. I have some very complex issues with multiple other diseases and she helped me.

I really liked Dr. Abacan. She listened to me & did a great job of explaining what the plan was & why.

I love Dr. Abacan! She is always kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable and she is an excellent listener and communicator! I am very thankful for Dr. Abacan!

She dismissed my concerns. Spent about 7 minutes total with me. No bedside manner.

Dr. Abacan is wonderful. She speaks fast so sometimes you have to get her to slow down, but she is very knowledgable and thoughtful. Her office, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. Getting a return phonecall in a timely manner, if they even bother to call back at all, is a consistent problem.

Dr is ok no physical exam, no thyroid check for abnormal growth or cancer. Office staff from hell no return call they do not understand how ty o use a fax. Dr calls back doing office staffs work???? I felt listened to to and cared for by Dr Abacan. I would definitely recommend her.

It was difficult to get an appt with ANY endocrinologist in the Lansing area, so my doctor referred me to Dr. Abacan. She listens....she really listens. And she takes the time to explain things and answer any questions you may have. I have Hashimoto's and she was the first doctor who was willing to prescribe a natural thyroid for me - as a matter of fact, she suggested it even before I asked for it (which I was planning on doing).

I would recommend her to anyone. I saw a family doctor in Battle Creek and really had my medicine way off. Dr. Abacan and explained what was going on and how to correct things.

Unless you have regular insurance, do not see. She assumes everyone can afford a pump.

She listens and takes the time to explain things. I've never felt rushed and love the fact that she actually HEARS what I'm saying to her instead of assuming she knows what's going on. I would recommend her to anyone.

This woman has never learned how to treat patients kindly or with respect. The patients questions/comments were totally dismissed. It is obvious that ...

I waited 45 minutes to see Dr. Abacan. Personal information sent to them prior to the appointment was not in my file and needed to be re-done. Dr. Abacan saw me for 5 minutes and provided no useful information. She did apologize for being 'too blunt'. She wasn't blunt, she just had no useful information regarding my health problems. When she started discussing her own health problems I wondered whether the appointment was for her or me.
