Mr. Curtis Jon Sturos

After I had experience a significant mental health concern I was in search of a psychiatrist to help me with an accurate diagnosis and medication management. I feel very fortunate that I was able to become a patient of Dr. Sturos. On initial intake appointment testing was done to help with my treatment by providing Dr Sturos with genetic information as well as conversational input. Once diagnosed, a treatment plan was fully explained to me and my questions were answered. Dr. Sturos has always listened to and answered my questions and allowed me to give my input/opinion on plan of care. Dr Sturos is very compassionate. He is never too busy to answer my many questions and concerns

I have been a patient of Dt Sturos approximately 3 years. He is kind and compassionate. He does care tremendously about his patients. If he asks you to do something like gain weight he very clearly explains the rationale behind it. I too am having issues with anorexia and it is difficult to accept a weight highe than you like but metabolism issue comes from the starvation not the weight gain. I’m glad I have the privilege of being his patient

I saw Dr Sturos when I was 20, he not only helped me work through my bipolar schizoeffective d/o but he taught me how to cope and move on from medication. He changed my life for the better and I've never had a doctor since that cared as much as he did.

I was seeing Sturos for Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I had worked really hard to get down to 105 lbs (I am only 5 feet tall) and I still thought I was fat. This guy put me on a medication that is known to cause weight gain and I gained 15 lbs in less than a month and my metabolism is ruined. This happened about 2 years ago now and I'm still 120 pounds and can't lose the weight. I still cry about it. I'm so thankful he no longer works with Community Works, but he has completely scared me out of ever seeing anyone else or ever trying medication again.

He dose not care about patients at all, he put me on drugs with very serious side effects and did not monitor my blood. Based his 'opinions' on nothing. he barely talked at all!VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
