Less than good. Asked questions a keystroke could answer and made to wait way too long a period to even be asked such preliminary questions. Why weren’t things known prior to my visit that could’ve been asked with a keystroke? A two month wait for second class citizen service.

The new receptionist lack interpersonal skills and communication she needs to work on that overall the hygienist cleans teeth pretty well and is very knowledgeable. Worst cleaning ever. This was a last minute choice for me since my regular dentist office closed and I’m in search of another one. The lady who did my cleaning did the most painful cleaning ever. She literally only used a dental floss the whole time scraping it up and down between my teeth, irritating my gums causing them to bleed. I’m pregnant so therefore a cleaning was necessary as recommended by the gynecologist. As a dental hygienist or assistant, whatever she was, she should know that pregnant women are more vulnerable to irritated and sensitive gums. There was no brushing afterwards just mouthwash. Awful. My regular dentist couldn't do an apioectomy and I was referred to him by a colleague. He did the apioectomy which ended up visibly infected. When I called the office to get an emergency visit he prescribed antibiotics over the phone and didn't bother to see me at all. Ended up going to my regular dentist to have my tooth removed and get an implant which cost me an additional $2,000. My dentist said the infection was bad enough that it could have become septic. Stay away from this man. Edit: I see that a response has been posted to my review. Why in God's name would anyone take the time to come onto Google and lie about their tooth becoming infected and the headache they had to go through to have it taken care of? Instead, the course of action this office chose to take was to simply say that they had never treated me, which is untrue. They were quite happy to have me sign up for CareCredit and fork over $1,600 for the procedure. The lack of professionalism with this office is staggering. He is my dentist for more Than ten years. The staff is very friendly and make the visit easier.

Dr Johnson is the best dentist around .... he takes his time and that’s the job right. No matter what condition your mouth looks like he still takes care of you with a smile on his face. Even with the condition that we’re in right now dealing with the COVID-19 his office is very safe and clean and they keep distance and take your temperature at the door and make sure your hands are clean. I usually don't post reviews but I just had to express how happy I am with the dental care I received at this office. First let me say, I take care of my teeth and don't wait years to go to the dentist. I make sure I get my 6 month checkups and get any work I need to do even if the insurance does not cover it. Not everyone feels like this but I'm over 60 years and still have all my teeth. Take care of your health, including your teeth. Stop complaining and do what you need to do to keep maintain your health.

Excellent dentist and hygienist at this location. I was very happy with the care I received. Staff and office are great. Highly recommend.

I came here with my sister two years ago, I got my wisdom teeth removed. It was the most painful experience ever. He did not let me look at my x rays and overcharged my insurance for the procedure. After that I changed to a different dentist and got my last two wisdom teeth removed, not only did they do a 10x better job (left w no pain and barely any swelling) . They also allowed me to take a copy of my X-rays which allowed me to see that he never removed my bottom wisdom tooth completely. He left a piece of my tooth in there, I have been in extreme uncomfortable pain due to the impact of the piece of tooth piercing into my bone. And to add insult to injury he told my insurance that he removed both two teeth completely! So now I have to go through an entire appeal process to have the piece of my tooth removed, since he filed a fraudulent claim saying he removed it. Absolutely unbelievable, never going back there again and would not recommend them to anyone ! I have been going through this stress of my teeth for two years because of them. Just got 2 wisdom tooth extracted and it never felt so good! The process was super fast and dr. Johnson it’s the best! Grateful to have him as my doctor.

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!! I gave one star cause the staff (all female) was very nice. You would be better off letting the crackhead from Bum Fights pull your teeth with a monkey wrench. I went in to get a cavity filled after I left the office I was in excruciating pain. I came back two days later because the pain had gotten unbearable. I now needed a Root canal in the same tooth I just had a cavity filled. I get the root canal and still felt discomfort. I told the doctor this he ignored me. I went to get the crown put in I told the doctor the tooth was not the right size that it didn’t fit and I was still feeling pain. The doctor proceeded to put the crown in despite me telling him and it visibly not fitting. He told me there was no way I was feeling pain and that he would file down the crown. I returned two times after that complaining about discomfort and the tooth not being the right size. He kept just filing the tooth down. Fast forward a year and half and the discomfort never went away, it actually got worst. I went to get it checked out at a different dentist. The new dentist went over my xrays with me and showed me that the crown Dr. Johnson put in was not the right size, it was put in to low, filed down to the metal and not sealed properly. Causing a bone infection and messing up my bite causing me to grind my teeth for over a year. It gets better! I go in Tuesday to see if the infection cleared and my new dentist pulls out from the end of my root what is called a silver point. My dentist informs me silver points are not recommended to be used anymore, haven’t been in over twenty years. Dr. Johnson is careless and dismissive( I’m not even going to get into how he treats his all female staff). He is giving 1970’s root canals and honestly I feel he does this on purpose for his financial gain.

Worst dentist office ever! I called with an emergency since my elderly father had his face super swollen due to a molar. They told me that my dad was able to go in anytime before 3 PM. When I called back less than 30 mins later to confirm that he was going in as an emergency, the super rude receptionist named Altagracia told me the doctor had already left. Common sense is if a patient is calling you with an emergency don't waste my time telling me he can go & then all of a sudden the doctor leaves. Altagracia was beyond imprudent and careless of the situation. Definitely will lose us as patients! Place is nice, dr.johnson is a great dentist very accommodating, only problem I have is the front desk one new lady in peculiar she's new & she doesn't know what she's doing she's supposed to be relaying better communication but seems like she's running blind very disappointed.

I'm a current patient of Dr. Johnson's. It's a shame people will post negative reviews but when there is something positive to say they forget to review, that's why I decided to write a review. I had a dental emergency and a family friend recommended Dr. Johnson to me. That was 25 years ago, and I still come to his office for my checkups and any dental work that needs to be done. I moved out of state for a few years, but would still travel back to his office for my dental work. I've recommended several people to his office and they rave about his work, the staff and the caring attitude of everyone in the office. It's a shame the previous patients did not have same positive experience I did. Could it have been the individual? Maybe. Did they fully understand what was to be done? Did they ask the doctor questions? Are negative reviews from a person that has a grudge to grind because they couldn't get their way? Possible. Anyway, all I can say is positive things about the dentist and his staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson to anyway. He explains everything, at whatever level of detail you desire. I have the ultimate confidence in his abilities and will continue to recommend him to everyone I know. He is a true professional who cares about your oral health. I've been to great dentists and I've been to bad ones. Dr. Johnson's office is one of the best I've been to. The Dr and the staff are all great to me and Jennifer, the hygienist, is thorough but gentle and very pleasant. First time I went here was for a chipped tooth thinking I might need a big procedure. Dr. Johnson is extremely arrogant and rude. He charged me for a root canal, that was never completed properly. When I tried to get reimbursement, he blames me for his negligence. Highly unprofessional. It's sickening that someone like him is allowed to treat patients.

I love coming to this dentist. People on here posting negative reviews are very inaccurate of me experience. The staff has been nothing but polite to me the entire year Ive been coming over here. They answer all my questions. I mean ALL (And I ask alot of questions) They are very professional. And I love Dr. Johnson. Im reading some of these reviews and Im telling myself this cant be the same man Ive met. Dr. Johnson is extremely soft spoken and seems like a great educated man. Extremely polite people and great staff. If someone like the guy on here (What are you a kid?) for wanting to take his teeth home, it was most likely a joke cause kids teeth are allowed to be taken home but i believe its illegal to take home adult extracted teeth. I've had many dentist in my life time, and never have I had such a soft spoken, took the time to explain kind of doctor, gave me my options and wasnt pushy with more expensive procedures, but most of all he asked if I was okay, if I had pain. All in all he waa GREAT!! His staff was equally attentive. I told many people about him and my nephew is calling for appointment tomorrow. Hes traveling from Manhattan believe me Dr Curtis is worth the trip.

I took my daughter to the dentist to see Dr. Johnson. My daughter appointment was for 4pm, we didn't see Dr.Johnson until 4:45 very disappointed. Had my teeth taken out. Asked the dentist if I could take them with me and he told me "what are you a kid?" Horrible service and I do not stand for being mocked by a professional who is supposed to give me the appropriate care. I even addressed to him the nasty order coming from my mouth and he neglected to correct or even explain to me clearly why the order was coming from my mouth.
