Dr. Curt P Conry

I had neck surgery by him back in 2012 . To have 2 disc replaced with donor bone. This was a living nightmare. He calls him self a neurologist. He found a ball of nerves in my neck right side of spine. He told me he moved them over but didn't mess with them. To this day I have severe nerve pain and effects my life dramatically. His bed side manors are the worst I've ever seen. No empathy for his patients. So egotistical he's disgusting. All while making bank. He couldn't do a serious surgery to actually help someone. Go to another docter!!

Dr. Conry is an excellent surgeon, with a great support staff. Long term back pain is now pain free. You don't have to get lost in city traffic or pay to park to go to the best.

I would do zero stars if it were an option...I have been having lower back and bilateral sciatic nerve pain...my MRI shown L4-L5 Central canal stenosis..he said it was wrong and I need a gym membership not a Dr...if he would have bothered to read my chart he would see I see a endocrinologist for an adrenal adonoma which causes weight gain...I shouldn't be in misery because he doesn't want bothered...I wouldn't recommend him for anything. I’m sure Dr. Conry is a talented surgeon, but I can’t say for sure, because I’m not speaking from my experience with his surgical talents. At my appointment, it was pretty obvious that he hadn’t read my chart, and he wasn’t interested in listening to me explain the situation. There is a difference between having poor bedside manner and being so calloused you won’t listen to a 24 year old sobbing in your exam room because they are in agony. That was weeks ago, and I am still bedridden. He’s knowledgeable, but I wouldn’t want him operate on me if he was the last neurosurgeon on earth. I was told ahead of time that Dr conry had no bedside manners, So I set that aside because I heard that he was the best neurosurgeon around that could work on my case. That was the start of the worst decision EVER! He cursed me out in the office in front of my daughter anf other patients. All because I wasnt healing and I refuse to take pills as a band-aid. I reported his behavior from out of OR to visit in office and then I got released as a patient just to have nobody now want to touch me. Im still not fixed! Great had issues one dr want to cut into my head! Dr Conry did more investigation and told me he can get me to feel better!!

Don't let the negative reviews turn you away from Dr. Conry. He has an air of confidence because he is one of t he best Neurosurgeons around. He even goes to the "big" hospitals to help and correct some procedures. He worked at the "big" hospitals for years but decided to come and stay where he is now. When dealing with potential back surgery I want a Doctor who is confident and straight forward. That is what you will get with Dr. Conry. If you're looking for a lollipop at the end he might not be for you but you're dealing with a Neurosurgeon not a PCP. I was convinced from other doctors that I needed surgery and after talking to the Dr. Conry he told me to hold off on surgery, weather the storm and do physical therapy. I was in crazy pain and thought he was crazy but I listened. I am so glad that I did. He never pushed medication on me or pushed surgery but he did push me that he was correct. Well that's the kind of doctor for me. He is not a "cutter" or a doctor that is going to "hook" you up with disability but rather one that does what's in your best interest to get you your life back. Several of my close friends and family have had surgery by him and they all recovered well and are symptom free now. Take this review for what it's worth but he's my kind of no BS doctor. very disappointed with my appointment thought at least he would of gave me an MRI of my back. will find another Dr. who will my insurance company said they woul;d cover it. but i can see was not interested it me maybe it was my insurance ... sorry i wasted my time and his

Best Doctor EVER. He does a full spine MRI right off the bat. I had to insist and argue for an MRI from a Punxsy doctor I had been seeing for a car accident. 20 years of pills and no MRI. Dr. Conry saw a huge issue with my neck. I needed 8 discs and plates and screws. Had he not had the policy of the full spine MRI he would have never seen it because I was going for back pain. The next year I had him do both wrists. Then my husband had Spinal Stenosis + Dr. Conry operated on him. We are both doing great. We highly recommend him. He and his associate Glenn are super nice. Sometimes, there is nothing he can do. I have a nerve issue in my back he can’t do anything about. Not his fault, it’s nerve damage. He will find the problem and fix it if it’s repairable. Dr Conry and his staff are super nice and very easy to talk with. They walk you through your procedure, explain what is happening and what they feel will be of most benefit for you. I have seen Dr. Conry for two separate issues since 2011. First was to treat arm pain and numbness that required three vertebrae to be fused and the second was for a severely herniated disc in my lower back. On both occasions he was not quick to rush to do surgery but after exhausting all other option, surgery was required. On both occasions I could not be happier with the outcomes. Anyone going through these types of operations needs to follow any and all rehab protocols and make some minor life style adjustments which greatly improve the overall outcome for you. His office staff and PA (Glen) are all excellent as well. They all are very personable and professional.

My experience with Dr Conry is the best. He is one of the very best neurologists in the state. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone

I was happy with the service and speed of treatment plan for surgery. His office staff was polite and expedient in working out details with insurer to get the surgery completed. Dr. Conrey was ignorant of human beings feelings and thought, but did his job well enough to dissassemble and reassemble my spine and attach the necessary hardware to get me back on my feet. I am grateful that he was able to repair my back. I had my recovery issues but those were expected and personal to each person. Today I'm working and painfree; thank you Dr Conrey for doing my, hopefully last surgery. I have recovered favorably, and smile daily as my life has been made well with very good results. L-5, L-4 fusion and removal of existing apperatus and reinstall new hardware. He found my previous surgeon and was able to review previous surgery techniques to make the outcome positive. I trusted his diagnoses and steadfast treatment plan.

Said there was nothing wrong and to go to yoga and check out the hot woman..

He was very honest and professional. Not an overly warm doctor, but he helped me.

Very courteous staff. Dr. Conry explained everything and answered all of our questions. We felt a great sense of relief when we walked out of his office.

Dr Conry is arrogant and self serving. I would never recommend him to anyone. His nursing staff are rude and uncaring, downright snotty. I’ll never go back.

Did surgery on back and suffered ever since. Terrible manners. Treat ppl bad

Had to have surgery for a herniated disk. Went into surgery screaming in pain came out with no pain. Surgery was May 2, 2018 and am still completely pain free a month later. Dr. Conry is my angel. He is honest, pleasant, and his staff are also amazing. Highly recommend Dr. Conry.

Dr. Conry did my 1st surgery 8 years ago. I was very satisfied. Unfortunately I need surgery again and I moved to Ohio and I am driving the distance to go back to him. He is very honest doctor. This is my second response to this survey, a post-operative response. My experience could n't have been better. Dr. Conry wes courteous and respectful; he provided me with the details of my pending surgery, explained the possible problems that could happen, although unlikely; I was informed of what I should expect of him and what he should expect of me if the surgery was to be a success. The entire experience was the best (if one has to have surgery). I am now post-op two months.
