Dr. Cristina P Simpson

Dr. Simpson is one of the best out there. She is a genuine, compassionate and dedicated doctor who truly cares about her patients. She makes you feel very welcome and comfortable during your appointment, listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions thoroughly. The front staff is also amazing very helpful and kind. Dr. Simpson has delivered my first child and here I am 10 years later with my second child and I won't go to anyone else but her she's just amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/GYN if I could give her 10 stars I would.

She asked me why I had a nice purse, but couldn't afford to go to be the dentist! Omg, how unprofessional! My purse was a gift and it wasn't expensive at all.

First time here. Recommended by my mother. I love this clinic. They were quick. Loved that they gave me the pricing of procedures before I even asked!!! The staff and Dr. Simpson love love her. She was very informative and told me what she was doing and educating me.

Doctor Simpson is great she found out what was going on with me and helped me carry 2 babies so far to term. She listens to you and actually is sincere and cares about you, your well being and the baby/babies.

I absolutely love Dr. Simpson! I have had complications in the past and Dr. Simpson got everything figured out and now I am on to heathy babies thanks to her!

Dr. Simpson is personable, cares about your health, and cares about your well being as a human. She took the time to listen to all my concerns, explained options in great detail and even advised me and explained her very personal experiences as if she was a long time friend, all in our first meeting.

Dr Simpson is great! I stopped going to OBGYN drs due to total hysterectomy but after years of gyn issues and countless referrals to other drs and frustration, I convinced my pcp to give me a referral and I’m glad she did.. I’m improving! I should have come sooner! First time in a long time

I have read through all the reviews and don't understand why she has such a bad rating. My appointment was amazing. Dr. Simpson was so kind, understanding, and friendly. She is not the usual doctor I go to, but was very welcoming. She listened to my concerns and did her job well. She was nothing but nice. She was also very on time which I was not prepared for at Riverwalk. This was a great experience and she should have nothing but 5 stars.

The worst experience with a doctor was with Dr. Cristina Carreno. I regret not having read the reviews before going to my first consultation with her. Her way of speaking is the most rude, without empathy. I don't know if she's used to talking to people that way, but her tone of voice and the kinds of things she said made me feel really bad. I thought that being a woman and with years of experience would help me with my menopausal problems. This doctor has no sensitivity, no compassion and no kindness, I do not recommend her to anyone. Dr. Simpson is an amazing, wonderful and caring doctor. Celina and Mary are the most caring go the extra mile and over the top to help you when you need them.

Cristina Simpson is a great doctor, she cares about her patients. She helps a lot whenever you have a question. I am very happy to have her as a doctor.

I’ve been with Dr. Simpson for over 8 years now which included a high risk pregnancy, honestly wouldn’t be able to fully trust anyone else besides Dr. Simpson when it comes to my body and the babies coming from it. Not only have I been a patient for so long but so has my mom and my sister, we love her.

Wow, what a great experience. She care for everything. I loose a baby, you can’t imagine how sweet, compassionate Dr Simpson is, definitely God use this kind of person for a reason. Thanks God we still have this kind of Drs ❤️????????

I love her!! Had her my entire life and she's always been great.. Understanding and never judge mental ( I was a drug addict for a long time,) and she was always very supportive and encouraging! I too am stunned by the negative reviews as she has always been so amazing for me!

Visited today and as always I found Dr. Simpson to be professional, empathetic, friendly and concerned about solving my issue. I have been seeing her for more than 10 years and will continue to do so. I was a bit stunned when reading a few negative reviews as my experience has been quite different. Perhaps the problem is patient attitude. I would and have recommended Dr. Simpson to others.

I have bad experience with her. She is unprofessional. Not sure if she is not happy in life or what. I have no idea how she is still practicing. I don't recommend this doctor.

If I could give this review 0 stars, then I ABSOLUTELY would. Dr. Simpson has to be the most insensitive, rude, judgmental, and unprofessional Doctor I have ever met. I really wish I would have done my research before confirming an appointment with her. Ladies, please do not make an appointment with Dr. Simpson. Regardless if your PCP referred you. It is not worth it. I have no idea how she is still practicing by just looking at all the bad reviews. Dr. Simpson, if you're so unhappy in life, maybe it's time for you to look into a new profession or seek out some much needed therapy and find a Shrink. I refuse to recommend her to anyone. She did not allow me to ask any questions and when I did ask, I got a snooty attitude. She was insensitive about how I was feeling and could care less about my anxiety being in the office. Then she wasn't even going to talk to me about the screenings so I asked her, to which she answered with the worst attitude. She passed some lines when she told me I should go to the gym, asked me about religion and ended up derailing on how I should go more to church!! They send every person that speaks Spanish to her. Very unprofessional, SHE made the appointment for delivery. Came 8 hours later to the hospital, the nurses tried to contact her to no avail. Came to tell me her shift was done and my baby was to be delivered by a total stranger to me. I saw her on every appointment and she had no issues to come late and to tell me she was leaving to go home. Long wait hours and office staff is usually no help or caring. It's pretty sad to see several bad reviews for her. I do agree with the long wait times, but OBGYNs often have to deal with emergencies. I do know she tends to arrive a bit late in general, but something I just decided to deal with because she is very engaged, detailed and even was willing to provide me with a cellphone number when I was not having the best of luck with the office staff. What doctor does that? I actually jave reached out to her via text and she was quite responsive and had her staff request my prescriptions fill quickly. Her nurse Monica is great! Dr. Simpson has now seen me for 3 pregnancies and delivered my two babies. She was super supportive and compassionate during a difficult pregnancy that resulted in us having a little baby angel. I have been going to Dr. Simpson since I was 19 years old. She has never steered me wrong and her bedside manor is impeccable. She takes the time to talk to me and ask me about life which can tell a doctor a lot about a person’s health. Both of my pregnancies have been wonderful with her help and advice. My experience with Dr Simpson has been excellent over the last 30 years. She has attended to all my routine female concerns as well as a couple of more serious issues. She is professional, compassionate and most of all knowledgeable. In one event, about 20 years ago, she waited for me in her office until my plane arrived from Florida at 7:30pm to see about a terrible pain I developed at the end of my trip. I highly recommend her.

My niece came home crying. Had the worst experience and I was shocked on what she was telling me how this "professional " treated her, and to be laughing at her in the next room to another patient....How does she still have a license? Dr. Simpson is extremely unprofessional and rude. She is short tempered and has no patience for those who have questions in regards to their health such as treatments, diagnosis etc. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with Dr. Simpson. I would encourage others to seek care through another provider. This is "healthcare" minus(-)the "care". Please save yourself from being placed in an uncomfortable position. There are many excellent healthcare providers and I will be searching for a new doctor.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Rude and out of control of her emotions. Correcting her staff in front of me while being rude to me at the same time. So bad I wrote a complaint to the Texas Medical Board.

Love, love, love Dr. Simpson--she has been my OB/GYN since 2008, and I cannot rave about her enough. We have had four miscarriages, and she has always been so caring and compassionate, and willing to do whatever she can to help us have a healthy pregnancy. She is very good at giving you the right meds if you have complications with your pregnancy, and I have never felt rushed with her at all. I will say her office is TERRIBLE at wait times. Waiting over an hour is pretty standard.

I have been seeing Dt. Simpson for 10 years. The level of service has greatly diminished. I have called their office 6 times within the last two months and did not received a return call. The doctors assistant finally called me back when I asked for my medical records. The wait time for appointments is usually over an hour. At times almost two. Dr. Simpson was good for so many years, but her staff, service has changed. Very poor service and unprofessional.

Dr. Simpson has been my OB since 2009, and i could't have ask for more, what i like about her is not she is professional and careful, every time i have my annual check up she is always asking me if i am ok and if i feel any pain to let her know. And what i like the most even though some time it might take over a year she remembers who i am and the conversations we had, not make people are like her.

If you have an appointment make sure you're not scheduled to do anything else for a few hours because it is very likely an emergency will pop up and the Doctor may take a little longer to see you. On the other hand if your prego and its urgent but not an emergency they're pretty good at fitting you in. She listens to you and her staff is very friendly.

My experience with the doctor herself was good. she prescribed some much needed medicine and gave me a 2 weeks sample saying she would call in a prescription to my pharmacy that day. About a week later it was not there. it took me 2 weeks during Christmas and New Year's holiday to get them to call it in! it took 9 phone calls in two days to get them to answer & return my calls. I missed 5 days of meds and had to start all over!!! Office sucks! Need to do their jobs Promptly and efficiently
