Dr. SESSIONS took great care of my 92 year old mother who fell and had two trauma surgeries one on should one on hip!

Dr.Sessions took care of me in every way possible. He did a left hip replacement and gave me steroid cortisone injections in both knees and I feel awesome. Some may give bad reviews, but I'm really glad he was there for me. Thanks Doc.

Dr. Sessions is compassionate and caring! Did a great job replacing a family member's hip. Checked on her regularly when she was moved to the floor and even took time to help her with breakfast when it arrived. We need more physicians like this! Thank you Dr. Sessions.

Dr Sessions was the on call ortho the hospital referred us to after my grand baby broke her leg. We took her in for a follow up and his bedside manner was awful! He was dismissive and took maybe 2 mins to look at her. He left her leg in a splint and didn't cast it or xray it. He asked no questions and then sent us on our way to follow up in 4 wks. We followed up and the same manners he gave the first visit he gave on the follow up visit. He acted like he didn't want to mess with children and when we asked a question his response was short simple and very vague. His staff was great but he was awful! Best surgeon in town! My knees have never felt better. I’m so grateful for Dr. Craig Sessions. Seriously the best!

I was scared at first as you could imagine, but Dr Sessions took his time in explaining the exact process of what to expect and what I needed to be careful with. Two years after, I haven’t had one issue and feel stronger than ever.

My family has used Dr Sessions for several different reasons, but the latest was another great experience. My son was born with a birth defect in his elbow. His radial head curved the wrong direction making it look like he had 2 elbows. He was also unable to fully rotate his arm. Being a teenager, my son was embarrassed about this and really would not wear short sleeves or go anywhere without a jacket to cover it. Dr Sessions put his (and our) minds at ease and was able to not only cosmetically make it look normal, but he has more rotation than he did before. Had the pleasure of shadowing Dr. Sessions back around when I was Pre Med in under grad. Dr. Sessions is definitely one of quickest and most thorough surgeons I have gotten to see operate. The reasoning why Dr. Sessions stood out to me from the pool of doctors I was given the opportunity to choose from stemmed from his ability to explain in detail the steps he was performing for someone with little medical knowledge at the time. To be able to understand what was going on due to his simple explanations, although I bet it was anything from simple, was astounding. Shadowing Dr. Sessions was an experience in itself and further peaked my interest in medicine. Not only was I able to shadow him, but I have gotten him to remove an ingrown toe nail that I have had issue with for a long time(thanks tennis). From barely feeling the needle, to injecting the numbing agent, I was thoroughly impressed that I was able to leave the office and go back to tennis practice within the next hour. Excellent care by Dr. Sessions

Dr Sessions treated my 8 year old son for a broken elbow. He was terrified and hurting. Dr Sessions settled him right down, took care of three pain, and set his elbow. My son was in awe of the entire process. By the time his cast was taken off, he wanted to be a bone doctor so he could fix people when they are hurt like doc did him. We couldn't be more pleased nor have asked for better bedside manner.

Dr. Sessions took 1 look at the MRI and saw 2 tears where the radiologist and VA Orto said everything was normal. He did a scope of my knee and I walked out without pain for the first time in 8 months. Sadly I fell and twisted my knee tending critters and reinjured the knee. This time the radiologist told me that there were 2 large tears. Dr. Session was straight forward and told me the option of injections or total replacement. Dr Sessions is wonderful!!! He is a straight shooter, does not beat around the bush but in the same breath is very caring of his patients.

I had been having problems with gout for years. I was to the point I walked with a constant limp due to the excruciating knee pain I was having. Dr. Session went the extra mile for us. Called his office panicked regarding an injury of my son. They immediately got us in even though the office would be officially closed by the time we got there. My son was in pain. Dr. Session treated us like family and put us at ease. I'm confused by the random negative comments that seem to appear from time to time because they are SO opposite of the experiences that we have had over the years. Our grandson has also had to make more than one trip to see him and they had the greatest experience each time. Dr. Sessions is one of the kindest, most honest doctor's we've ever met. He's very passionate about his job and he's professional in his approach to each patient and their treatment. It's really sad that there are people out there that are so miserable they have to stoop so low as to give negative reviews when they don't actually have first hand experience with the doctor. Also, it's odd that the office staff can't find any records of those making the negative comments. Be careful when judging a doctor based on his Google rating because they aren't as accurate as you may think. I had bursitis in my shoulder and Dr. Sessions knew immediately what it was. He injected it and I got immediate relief. I was told it would need surgery by other doctors but the injection helped and I have not had any more problems since that time. He is very calm and explained everything in great detail so I would know what to expect. He said "surgery is a last resort and only if needed" which reassured me tremendously. Anyone can get online and give a bad review. It is easy to find fault in businesses or professionals then blast them online when their side of the story is now shown. They have no option to defend themselves against online attacks. I try to never do that and want to only show how fortunate we are to have great businesses in our area. So when I have a good experience, I go online to shout it to the world. And, that is exactly what we found with Dr. Sessions. We took my 5 year old grand-daughter to the ER. She was on the trampoline enjoying our break in winter weather and after only 10 minutes of trampoline, she fell off and broke her arm in 2 places in an open break. So Dr. Sessions took care of her, operated on her, fixed her right up and made sure she was taken care of. She asked him when she could get back on the trampoline and he laughed but said not for a while, till after you are healed. She has gone full force not once complaining of pain or discomfort in any way and went back to school the next day. We took her back for a follow up and she is healing as planned. My neighbor had seen Dr. Sessions last year and told me later that she was really happy she found him to treat her. So I was glad I recognized his name, and that he was the on call doctor we got when we went to the ER. I couldn't find a doc to treat my leg after getting it caught under a tractor. Dr. Sessions took excellent care of me. He saved my leg after others told me I had to have it amputated. I just went back for my one year follow up and I am back to perfect condition. I am able to work just like I did before my injury last year. I am so happy with all that he has done for me and the care I received. An amputation would have been horrible but thankfully I found a doctor who cares for his patients.

Excellent care. Dr. Sessions told us whatever we thought to be sure to tell him in his survey, so we can only say he is a very kind and compassionate physician and goes above and beyond for his patients. I was deeply disappointed in my visit (if thats what you want to call it) with Dr. Session. He came into the room, stated he read my mri and the report and that he didn't know why I had been sent to see him. That he believed the problem was in my spine not my hip, my MRI clearly reads bone damage and alot of tearing in the hip. Then he walked right back out after saying "there is nothing I can do for you, I don't know why they sent you here"....really caring physician don't you think.

Doctor Sessions did very good for me. He saved my hand after my bad injury. I recommend him to you.

We both see Dr. Sessions and will continue to do so. He has seen me for my hip and my husband for knees, broken wrist and ankle. We feel we've asked a lot of questions and this doctor never makes us feel like we are a bother. I work in the OR for 30 yrs & saw Sessions operate for 8 years. I have seen enough to know he is the real deal. I will be traveling 9 hours to see Sessions. All the doctors nurses & staff wish we had him back here. Amarillo is very lucky to get him. He is an excellent surgeon, cares deeply for his patients works harder than any doctor I know of. If you want to know what doctors are good or bad, ask the hospital staff. We see it all and all of us at my hospital know Craig Sessions is the best.

We found this doctor to be very patient, explain everything in great detail, very calm and friendly. He said he would be happy to pray with us before surgery. As a pastor I appreciate a Christian doctor. I had seen another doctor in the Emergency Room who was using profanity left and right. I asked to see another doctor and they called Sessions who wasn’t even on call. He said he would be happy to come to see me. Will be recommending him to everyone.

I usually do not leave reviews online but wanted to share my experience in hopes that it would help others see that there are doctors that do care. Dr. Sessions has helped my husband and I so much. My knee is back to 100% from my surgery earlier this year. Dr. Sessions has a great deal of integrity and really cares for his patients. We are so happy we found him to handle our Orthopaedic care.

I worked with Dr Sessions for 8 years. I assisted in many surgeries. I am aware of the type of doctor he is. I met a disgruntled family member of his who brags they write negative reviews online monthly about dr sessions. I do not think it’s right for a person to do that. Dr sessions moved away and all the doctors, nurses and staff wish we had him back in our town at our hospital. He is an excellent surgeon with great outcomes. He doesn’t deserve this treatment. He’s an excellent physician.

My wife and I both have seen Dr. Sessions for 2-3 years now. He has operated on both of my knees and I am finally able to function with no pain! We drive from Oklahoma to see him. I would not trust my care with anyone else.

I HAD A BROKE WRIST IN 2016 AND DR SESSIONS DID SURGERY, HE PUT A PLATE IN AND SHAVED THE BONE DOWN. WITHIN 2 1/2 MONTHS THE PLATE CAME OUT OF THE BONE AND RUPTURED MY FLEXOR TENDON. About 2years ago dr Sessions replaced my knee I stayrd in the hospital 4 and a nurse ask why I was still there I told her he had not been to see me she called him he had forgot I was there he caused to stay in hospital 2 days than should. About 2 weeks After I got home I woke up my knee was swollen up and stiff I could hardly walk on it I called the dr. put me for a week I asked he said the reason was he had full with with appointments 'IF that is the type dr. you want go for it.

I had good experiences with Dr. Sessions. Had hip replaced and walked over 100 steps the very next day. Sent to rehabilitation center a day early. Very happy with my medical care from him.

Dr. Craig is a very good surgeon . Im a CRNA and I work in surgery and, I see it all. He is a strong Christian and upholds strict professionalism when it comes to his patients. He strives for only the absolute perfect outcome for each patient. I feel comfortable taking my family to see him for all of our ortho needs. He moved away and it was a huge loss for our hospital but this hospital is known for not keeping good docs. I recommend him over any Orthopaedic surgeon

Our oldest son had broken his arm twice, 2 years apart when he was little, and both times we knew we’d be using Dr. Sessions. He’s a wonderful Christian Dr and always has the patient’s best interest at heart. He was very thorough with us during the whole process. I would highly recommend Dr. Sessions to anyone without thinking twice about it. He’s the best.

Dr Sessions is one of the most amazing orthopedic docs! He takes time to listen to his patients as well as providing a high level of skill! He makes you feel at ease about your surgery and being a nurse, I appreciate his professionalism and genuine concern for the total care of his patients. Highly recommended!!!!

Extremely happy with this doctor. He has now officially treated my entire family (as of this weeks hip surgery on mom) and we consider him our own family orthopedic doctor. Mom was up walking the very next day after hip surgery. We are very pleased. Don’t believe people who get on the internet to trash good doctors. It’s a shame people do that. Botched surgery and needed further surgery to correct the errors.

I have had knee pain for years. I was afraid to go to the Dr because I thought I might need a total knee replacement. With that mindset, some Dr's would have just done that. But all I actually needed was a minor surgery and I had a left knee scope. When I woke up from the surgery, I was in less pain than I was before I went to sleep. He does awesome work and I could not have asked for a better Dr. He explained everything in detail and put my mind at ease. Awesome Dr!!

I saw this doctor for my hip and he operated on it. Did a great job and very little pain after surgery. Was walking the next day 100 steps. Very pleased with my outcome. He operated on my hip last year so then this year I saw Dr. Sessions for my shoulder. Other people told me I would need surgery but he helped me without shoulder surgery and I feel fine. Was treated very well by him and his employees.

Dr. Sessions fixed my moms hip and the very next day my dad broke his arm. They are elderly, in their 90s and still going strong. My mom tells everyone how much she loves Dr. Sessions.. I never thought I would need him but last month I broke my ankle and he came I’m in the middle of the night and fixed my ankle. The nurse said he had been working for almost 24 hours then he came back in for me. He appeared just as professional as with my parents. He has been such a great doctor. Very impressed!

Total neglect !!! He never explained nothing to me! Told me that i could start walking with my shoe on after 6 wks, and ive had nothing but pain swelling burning and tingling in my foot and into my leg!! He told me i didnt have to see him nomore after 6 wks also!! He sucks!!!

Dr. Sessions is a hero in my book. I was told so many thing in the hospital after my left tibia, left fibula, and right femur all snapped at once (fibrous dysplasia) . In the ER we were told I would never walk again, primarily over my muscles being so twisted. They assumed the damage was far too great, and that I would be lucky if I could shift from the bed to a wheelchair now and then. After admittance, we were told I would have surgery on the tibia and fibula, but not my femur. Doctor Sessions walks in. "Yeah, no. We're doing both surgeries!". We asked about prognosis. He was honest. Said he was sure I would be back on my forearm crutches, but he couldn't promise anything more. That amazing man got in there and cowboyed my femur right up! That was November 22 and 25th of 2016. I took steps without assistive devices on January 1, 2017! I though that was pretty much the end of itn and that he was just intending on handling the emergency situation. Nah. He didn't just drop me as soon as possible like a lot of doctors have in the past. He is handling my left femur next. He is an amazing doctor. I've heard he doesn't always have the very best bedside manner. I'm not sure what people are complaining about there. He told me what I needed to hear with no surgar coating, and has been such a warm person after, as well! I greatly respevt his candor! I even get hugs now and then. I'm not sure he gets exactly how much he has saved me by saving both of my legs! Dr. Sessions did my ulnar nerve entrapment surgery and it went great and had no issues. He was professional, friendly and explained everything about the surgery to me and my family. I will deferentially use him again.

Sessions operated on my knee for meniscus tear in left side. Above my knee he burnt me with some kind of medicine left scared and numb. The meniscus still causing me pain and now pain in right side as well. Wouldn't recommend him for a dead dog. He sucks.

Dr Sessions is very rude!! I would not recommend him to anyone. My daughter was referred to him due to an issue with her elbow. I saw Dr. Sessions today for a wrist injury. I am very impressed and that says something. Being a dairy farmer I do not like going to a doctor for anything.
