Extremely pleased. Went in to remove moles on my face due to melanoma. Took 18 off and have not one scar. He is easy to work with and super professional. Would never use another surgeon. Made the mistake of using another plastics for another mole and the scar is 4x bigger than the mole was.

I was very impressed with Dr. Munger’s bedside manner and attention to detail. He is among the most professional and patient doctors I’ve ever gone to. A true privilege. My procedure and recovery were much better than expected and I wouldn’t consider anyone else for my eyes in the future.

Staff will tell you that Dr. Munger is funny and fun to work with. I can see that. He is fun to work with because he has a passion for what he does. The meticulous surgeries that he does takes great skill and precision but he thinks it’s the fun part. The thing I like best after my upper and lower eyelid surgery is that I suddenly have “up” vision. I suddenly can see more ceiling and sky. Everyone tells me that I look much younger. Dr. Munger did a fantastic job correcting my drooping eyelids! He has a pleasant bedside manor as well. I would recommend him without reservation!

Be careful and read the reviews first. I had surgery December 2020 and I am still having issues. in 2021, I went to four other doctors (a full year) to try and repair the damage from this "guy". On each visit surgery records were requested but never sent. So, get your records in advance before seeing another doctor for repairs because they will never be sent. It took seven months to get my records to prove my claim. Trust me he gets mad if you question the outcome and somehow it will be your fault. On my third visit in February 2021 to complain about the outcome he falsified an insurance claim saying he did surgery again on that visit. I contacted insurance company of the fraudulent claim and contacted the State Attorney. It was determined in 2022 that I have nerve damage that's unrepairable. So instead of eyelashes in my vision I now see my eyebrow hair and constant pain. Buyer be warned you'll definitely get more than you ask for. Funny how all the 5 star reviews have no comments. A little odd.

DO NOT USE DR. MUNGER. When I first came in to discuss getting upper blepharoplasty done on my eyelids I was told “3 weeks and you’ll be fine” as far as recovery time. Here I am 4 months later having to pay more money for a revision surgery by another surgeon on top of the $3500 I paid out of pocket for the original surgery done by Munger. NOT ONLY is his bedside manner horrible (comes in for 2 seconds after you wait there for at least 40 minutes.), NOT ONLY did he not take the proper time to go over important things with me such as aftercare or what to realistically expect recovery wise post surgery, NOT ONLY did he leave my left eye completely unmatching my right eye with incredibly obvious scars (3 months before my wedding), but the last straw was when I went in 4 months later to express my unsatisfaction, he first tried telling me that he didn’t see the problem (the issues were VERY obvious not only to me but friends and family as well). Then he tried making me feel like I was being nit picky. THEN tried charging me $700 to fix it. 3 months until my wedding, I’m down $3500 plus the money I had to pay another surgeon to fix his work. GO TO SOMEONE ELSE.

Is there a ZERO rating? In 2016, on September 6th I had Ectropion surgery on both eyes. The left eye result was OK. The right eye ended up with the lower lid turned so far backwards, that the eyelashes were up against my eyeball. I am going to shorten this review up to mention that I have had to endure an additional five, (5) surgeries in an attempt to correct the first surgery. Surgeries were done on 2/7/17', 3/7/17',4/20/17', 5/16/17', completed by a well known, South Tampa eye surgeon. The last procedure was Cryosurgery completed at the VA Eye Clinic in Tampa in June of 2017. This Cryosurgery removed the five, (5) eyelashes that remained touching my eyeball. Everything I say here can be verified by receipts and photos that were taken daily to Document every issue, and surgery I had to endure because of Munger's surgery on 9/06/16'.

Upper eyelid surgery (tried to talk me into lower but I wasn't interested). Procedure was okay, but I now have a small knot and a bulging vein on my face next to my eye that formed after the surgery. Was told that it would go away, but it has been almost a year and it is still here.

Very bad bedside manners. Doctor was interrupted by staff three times to receive orders to finish previous patient in operating room that needed sutures. Disorganized with problems communicating with staff. jumped into his chair in a hurry and never introduced himself or say hello and left in a hurry. Very little communication to me and no diagnosis but said he would prescribed eye drops for me but did no give the prescription to the staff. This appointment was a waste of time and a complete disappointment.

HORRIBLE!! Didn't explain anything. Did upper eyelid surgery, which was not necessary. Tried to talk me into lower lids, but didn't explain why. Later found out it would have been just cosmetic surgery-another way for him to make money. Just found out he is leaving the practice-DUH!

Dr Munger suggested I have upper eye lid lift for potential vision problems.Among worst decisions of my life. Procedure was a year ago February and am still recovering. Left lid was cut too low leaving an indentation on side of eye. Right lid cut like a snake and too high and now has cyst at end of incision. consulted w several specialist to try to have corrected and will need reconstruction surgery. May be excellent eye doc but not a plastic surgeon. Would never recommend for eye lid surgery.

Dr. Munger was great, saw my issue and started the process to resolve it.

Trauma Cataract. Been blind for 10 years. Couldn't find a doctor that accepted staywell insurance.

Mr. Munger calls his patients by their names. He takes the time to actually talk to you. Very good surgeon, my eyelids are more pronounced.

Dr. Munger did my upper lids and this has improved my eyesight which allows me to read books for more than 30 minutes and watch a full movie without falling asleep. So life changing! His staff was very supportive and caring I can only say that you should see Dr. Munger and know you will be so well cared for and your results will change your life as they did mine.

Dr. Munger is not only a very nice person, but an excellent eye surgeon. I came to see him for eye lid surgery. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable during the whole procedure. After the procedure I was feeling great. No pain!! (And I am a 56 year old baby. Lol) after 5 days after surgery I went time work and realized I did not need to use computer glasses!! I also noticed everyday I was able to see a lot better. It see much brighter! Yes, I still have to wear my regular glasses, but I am seeing much clearer!! I do have to say, do everything they tell you to do after surgery.l!! Dr. Munger is amazing!! Thank you!!

The man with the Magic hands. I am so happy with my results. I cried for a couple of days. When I returned home and saw myself in the mirror I was in shock and started to cry. I have not seen myself in years. I was always asked are you tired? You look tired. I was not. It was the bags under my eyes which made me look tired and very aged before my time. that was very depressing. Dr. Munger is an excellent surgeon, people person, very caring person. I followed his instructions and I had no bruising. Nurse Priscilla was very patient with me when taking out my stitches. No pain. Surgery Center excellent staff and nurses they take you step by step from beginning to end. I am so blessed to have known Dr. Munger for he gave me back my youth and not the tired looking person I was. Thank You!!

Dr. Munger made my eyelid surgery an easy and pleasant experience. I am so pleased with my results and I would highly recommend him to anybody who wants to look years younger.

I recently had eyelid surgery with Dr. Munger. He left a lump on one eyelid and tried to tell me it was a wart. Very disappointed in the results.
