Craig A Kobrin

Dr. Craig A Kobrin misdiagnosed an avulsion fracture of the proximal end of the 5th metatarsal as an unhealing Jones fracture of the base. His last report compared X-rays taken on 5 different dates which were consistently misdiagnosed as a base of 5th metatarsal fracture. Luckily, I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon who set the record straight, showed me where the fracture actually was and assured me the fracture had healed, indicated I could begin wearing shoes and do activity as tolerated. Luckily, this was not a significant injury but I cannot help but wonder what other blunders Dr. Kobrin has made.

Dr. Craig Kobrin performed biopsy on lymph nodes in my husband's neck at Baptist South. He was concerned with my husband's comfort and explained everything he did, always asking my husband if he understood what was happening and if he had any pain. Dr. Kobrin had a very pleasant and calming demeanor which we really appreciated since we are not expecting a good outcome from these tests. Thank you Dr. Kobrin!
