When he was doing lap bands, I thought a good reference was his partner. He had done his partner's lap band, or so I was told. He was in a hurry to do my lap band surgery, he was running behind schedule. I don't have proof, but I believe he nicked my stomach. For 3 months I was told the oozing from one of the incisions was my body "rejecting the sutures", when in fact it was an abscess. Incised in the office, and band removed the next day. 7 days in hospital. 103 temp. I have had numerous issues since then and wish I had never let him touch me. If I could give zero stars I would. My family was very deeply disappointed with Ferrara. I would say to definitely do lots of research before considering this doctor. There are plenty of doctors in Fort Worth to choose from. Be careful, and do your homework before choosing this doctor.
