Dr. Craig Norman Defreese

Horrible! Office Manager is extremely RUDE AND COMBATIVE!! Dr. DeFreese FOULED UP 2 OF MY PAP SMEARS. I had to take time off and travel long distance to do the tests all over again! His vision has become impaired, I was told and his politeness went along with it. He's a different person now than what I knew from being his patient for several years. Not a good change, at that. I'm happy to connect with a new modern day doctor much closer to home and who practices good bedside manner.

Thank you so much Dr Defreese for the difference you make in the lives of your patients! Your kindness, sincere caring, and concern make everything better and are a great encouragement. Thank you so very much for taking care of me and being so skilled at what you do. Every day of my life is better because of you. You are the BEST Dr in FLORIDA that I've ever had and the reason that I will never switch to another Dr. Crystal is AMAZING along with the rest of the team.

Dr Graig Defreese delivered my daughter and everything was well and the scar of my c section is very small. He is an amazing doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Defreese for close to 30 yrs. He's very easy to talk to and very professional. I never want to go to another Dr.

Dr. Defreese was insensitive and didn’t want to take the time to hear about the pain I was in. He seemed more annoyed like I was taking up too much of his time. I would never recommend this place. He needs to retire he doesn’t care about his patients.

This is the BEST OBGYN/Doctors office I have been to. Megan McClave, the aprn, is a healthcare professional whose heart is truly in it for her patients. She cares about what your going through and everything from A to Z. She genuinely cares and listens to all and everything you have to say and are going through. I love I don't feel rushed and I leave feeling like all of my concerns have been addressed and lucky to have found such a great office. I have also seen Dr Defreese a couple times and I really appreciate that they actually sit with you and LISTEN. Great office staff and everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an office who are sincere, caring and sympathizes with you and any situations you are facing.

Dr. Defreese has been my go-to for over 20 years. During this time I’ve gone in for routine services and severe problems requiring surgery. He’s been kind and always shown me exactly what is happening and recommended the best outcome. His office staff is very efficient, as well. I would not see another gynecologist unless he retires!

Referred by a couple of coworkers. Very friendly office. Doc was very informative and answered all my questions. I truly feel like he understands my concerns and needs. Very comfortable and informed with moving forward with my desired treatment.

I was hesitant about having a male gynecologist as I've only ever had women in the past. Dr. Defreese is truly a very professional and intelligent doctor. I'm a very detail oriented person and I greatly appreciated his seemingly endless amount of knowledge. Very disappointed on whoever took my phone-call last week. I called trying to set up appointment for missing period and getting positive on home pregnancy test. First time experiencing this, had no idea what do next. All I thought was: call my doctor who I’ve gone to in the past years for yearly checkups and find out what I needed to do and all I get is : we don’t work with pregnancies or tests. Dr. Defreese is hand down the best GYN doctor I have ever seen. He's been my doctor for over 3 years. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great doctor. He is professional and has great bedside manners and will answer any questions you have in details.

He's self-important, obstinate, and doesn't actually listen or take your experience into consideration. Suffered symptoms for a year. Inept staff. Waiting room smells like stale urine.

Part 2. UHC called Allison & explained that Allison was wrong, I was in network, I called back to make sure my appt was still scheduled for the next day. Cynthia answered & instead of apologizing for her error she decided to lecture me about how great she is & how rude I was. At 5pm I recd a call from Allison telling me that the staff decided not to have me as a patient anymore. I asked to speak to him & they refused. The dr. knew what they were doing & she said he does what they say. Dr. Great

These reviews look really good so I was crushed to be told, when I tried to get an appointment that they are not accepting medicare patients even with supplementary insurance. Very disappointed. So much for the caring listening!

Dr. Craig Defreese was exceptionally caring, understanding, and competent. His office staff was amazingly efficient and helpful. Having spent a lot of times in doctor's offices, this was one of the best-run offices I have ever been in. Highly recommend.

I'm a new patient of his since Jan 2018. I don't think I've ever written a review on a doctor before but he is fabulous! I met with him first time in a sitting type room and was fully clothed. Its nice to meet with a doc for the first time and your not covered with a paper napkin with your business hanging out. He 'listened' to the issue I was having, gave me multiple options that were 'clear' to understand and answered any questions. He does not rush you and talks to you as if you were talking to a friend. He always explains what he is about to do when he is doing an exam or procedure. Genuinely cares and wants to make sure you are comfortable and well. Amazing!! I was so nervous going into my first appointment with Dr. Defreese because I had a bad experience with my prior gynecologist. As soon as I sat down and spoke with Dr. Defreese I felt completely comfortable. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. I am so glad I found this doctor!

Would give zero stars if I could, since when do you need a referral for a gynecologist? Ummm hello, it says on your website you take patients without insurance, how do they get referrals? Don't all women need your services? This was definitely a red flag, despite all the good referrals on the United Healthcare website.

Love this doctor I have been a patient for 29 years. Dr Defreese takes the time to listen to all concerns and is reassuring if you have any worries. He delivered my girl's and now they are patients.

It's rare a doctor will actually sit down and take the time to find out exactly what health issues one is experiencing, and Dr. deFreese is certainly that doctor. In addition, he has medical knowledge and know-how to recommend the best forms of treatment. The best OB GYN I have encountered in decades.

I have been a patient of Dr. deFreese for many years. I came as a new patient with many complications due to errors during surgeries/procedures from a previous OB/GYN. Dr. deFreese has always gone above and beyond to help me. Most recently, I had an insurance issue I found out about at 7pm the night before a procedure. I called his office the next morning at 8:30am and he was already on the phone with them and found an immediate resolution. Wonderful doctor! He is one of the most caring, patient and intelligent doctors I have ever met. I really appreciate the fact that he talks to me with so much patience and respect. Dr. Defreese explains everything you would like to know about your health and anatomy. He is an example of a doctor you can not only trust, but learn a lot from. All the ladies in the office are also kind, caring and accommodating. I highly recommend this office.

This is one of the friendliest, curtious and pleasant group of people you will ever meet the whole staff is amazing and Dr Defreese is so wonderful, so nice and caring makes sure you are aware of everything being do and understands all your issues is so good and gentle will not go to another doctor again unless he retires and hope not anytime soon!!!

Dr. Defreese is very patient and very caring. He wants what's best for his patients and wants us to feel as comfortable as possible. He answers all questions you have in detail, and does not rush you out of his office. Plus there are no long wait times! He explains everything that he is going to do and what he is doing. Awesome doctor!

Dr. Defreese took his time to explain my options in detail. He is encouraging and compassionate. His staff if friendly and attentive. His office is clean and warm. Dr. Defreese has made my life a lot more comfortable and I'm very thankful for his services.

I started going to him about 8 years ago and refer him to all my friends in search of a GYN. He is my most trusted doctor. He was one of the first doctors that actually listened when I was pregnant and speaks to you in layman terms, not doctorese....I hope he never retires....best doc EVER!!!
