Paid for an eye exam and contact lens fitting - total was almost 300 dollars. My exam consisted of the basic chart and corrective vision tests. Dr. felt my eyeballs (instead of doing the puff test), looked at my eyes using a light, and that was it - no dilation, no eye health tests. I was in and out of his office in roughly 9 minutes. The office ordered my lenses, I picked them up a few weeks later and that was it. Considering I am very near sighted (almost legally blind) and have glaucoma in my family history, the optometrists I have seen in the past always give me thorough exams for the same price. I have scheduled another eye exam with a different optometrist so I can get my eyes dilated and receive the actual tests I should have received at this optometry office.
