Constantine Tsigrelis

3hrs before my appt, Dr Tsigrelis called & recommended we cancel it if I didn't want to "use Cleveland Clinic's lab tests." I met him anyway, explaining I had been "burned" in the past by a CC doc that told me an allergy test was "not expensive." My out-of-pocket bill for that allergy test was $8800! Insurance wouldn't cover the cost because it was "egregious." CC sent me to a collections agency though I pd in full . I asked what tests Dr Tsigrelis might order, & what the cost "might" be. He answered, "I don't know." I explained I saw 3 other docs because of an undiagnosed 5 wk long fever & headache & that I didn't have a problem getting tests done at CC's lab, I just needed some idea of cost. He answered I don't know, but this time he added, "I think it's unfair you get examined by CC doctors, but then get the tests done elsewhere. What exactly is unfair about getting my tests somewhere cheaper? He again refused to treat me & offered to get me appt with someone "downtown."
