Absolutely amazing! I had a tummy tuck, lipo, and implant exchange. I’ve had minimal discomfort and I’m absolutely pleased with my results!

I am a Middle Eastern woman and, in all my years of living in the United States of America, I have never felt so belittled and disrespected by a doctor and her staff. I drove 65 miles to see this doctor, because of the good reviews I read; however, I was ostracized because I questioned their mask policy, even though I complied with their request to wear a mask. As soon as I expressed my view about masks not being effective to prevent transmission of COVID, they devised a plan to get rid of me. The doctor claimed my blood pressure was 194 over 87 and that she could not do anything for me. I almost burst out laughing when I heard 194 over 87, as I was feeling fine and, as mentioned, I drove 65 miles to get there. I had absolutely no signs of high blood pressure. I have never had issues with high blood pressure, so for them to claim my blood pressure was over 190 was an absolute fabrication. When I walked into the room with the nurse, she told me to pull my mask up, even though my mask was already over my nose. I then asked her about their mask policy and the fact that masks do not prevent transmission of COVID. She did not respond to my question at all. She took my blood pressure and walked out. A little while later the doctor came in and claimed my blood pressure was 194. I know everyone’s time is valuable, so I am not going to write about every detail of my horrible experience with this doctor. What happened to me should never happen to anyone. I came to the United States for all the freedom it offers; unfortunately, nowadays we are losing our freedom of speech and freedom of expression. I was blacklisted simply because I questioned the effectiveness of wearing a mask to prevent COVID. It is a shame that, of all people, a doctor is so simple and narrow minded that she cannot handle anyone with a different opinion than hers. I have been going to Dr. Stern for years and recommend her to all my friends and family. She is knowledgeable, experienced and a true artist. She is the only person I let touch my face.

Dr. Stern was terrific. I went to her without any prior experience and was worried about doing too much. Not only did she do a terrific job on my eye filler, she was clear about what Botox would do to my facial mobility if I chose to do my forehead, which I ultimately chose not to do based on her good explanation. In other words, she is the opposite of an up-selling doctor trying to get you to do a bunch of procedures. She has a great bedside manner and was compassionate about my pain during the procedure (although I told her at the outset that I have a low pain tolerance and that I would be a baby). Dr. Stern and her staff are the absolute best in both skill and personability. I felt cared for from the first call, consult, all the way through my procedure and into aftercare. The staff/nurses/etc.. are all very caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Stern is also honest and does not try to sell you on things you do not need. Dr. Stern is a brilliant Surgeon. I have had two surgeries: rhinoplasty and breast augmentation performed by Dr. Stern, and I couldn’t be happier. My results are a 100% natural looking. Dr. Stern is a perfectionist, and her work is just BRILLIANT! My recovery with rhinoplasty was better than expected. I had no bruising, no swelling and no pain or bleeding. The same can be said for my Breast Augmentation surgery recovery. I am so sad that I waited until I was 50 years of age to have both surgeries done. I should have had them done many years ago if I only knew of Dr. Stern. I went to Dr. Sterns's office after getting a bazaar quote from another doctor in the Asheville area for a breast lift with implants. This first doctor wanted to put me under for 2 separate surgeries (dangerous, 2x of 6 weeks downtime, and 2x the anesthesia fees. A friend mentioned to me that Dr. Stern does breast lifts with implants as one surgery and has for a very long time. I called in that same day and spoke with Lucinda who was the most WONDERFUL, genuinely kind person I have ever worked with. I prebooked my surgery that day and patiently awaited my consultation day. I left my consultation a little on the fence on implant sizing and called back in to discuss this with the nurse, Emily. She was so patient and understanding and took all of my questions straight to Dr. Stern and got back to me the following day. Dr. Stern stuck to what she felt was best for me based on the vision I had for myself. She knew that with a larger implant, I would be unhappy and not have the perky outcome that I wanted. She very kindly kept ensuring me that she was happy to go with whichever size I chose but that based on what I described to her, she suggested a certain size. On the surgery day, we spoke again and I decided to trust the pro and wow, she was spot on. I would have not been as happy if I would have gone with the larger size. I would also like to point out that her ENTIRE team from her schedulers, her nurses, her anesthesiologist, etc were ALL incredible and KIND and all on the same page, always. I was never left to question one thing from my medications being ready for pick up weeks before surgery, having a detailed list of everything I needed, knowing exactly what to expect, etc. On the day of surgery, I was so nervous about being intubated because I have always heard that your throat can be incredibly irritated after that. Nope, the nurse told me she had never had that complaint and that she was very gentle and days after surgery I realized I hadn't had one pain. My recovery was also nearly painless. While I know it won't be that way for everyone, I was very impressed with the recovery process. I was up and at it the next morning after my surgery (while adhering to my restrictions). I recently went to Dr.Stern for breast reduction surgery. This is something I considered for years. I am 5'2'' and literally carried most of my weight in my chest. My back hurt constantly. I wish I would have done this sooner. I am so much more comfortable, and the recovery was so easy. I felt little pain after the procedure. Dr. Stern and her staff were wonderful. From the moment I spoke with Lucinda ,when scheduling the appointment, I felt like I had found the perfect office for this surgery. Everyone was so nice and helped me relax. Dissatisfied and disappointed. They were all friendly, but would not recommend her for male chest or gynecomastia related procedures. Lacked the experience and ability to know that I didn’t need chest liposuction, I needed reduction or tissue removal. They over promised, and I understand that results vary, but I expected at least a visible difference. I’m stuck paying for results that are almost identical to my how I looked already. The last thing that was incredibly frustrating was when I pointed out my disappointment and that my chest was a bit worse, she recommended I work out less, to which I said “no, when I don’t work out it’s even worse.” Ridiculous. Last bit of info, before going here I consulted with a place in Houston Texas. They said they wouldn’t do chest lipo on me, I didn’t know why so I took a chance here. Know I know why. Go out of town if you need something like this done or at least ask to look at a book of before and after images, don’t go in blind.

If you are considering Dr Stern as your surgeon...please read this! I am here to tell you that she literally has changed my life for the better, and I am forever grateful. When I was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in 2010 it involved having a double mastectomy and (I opted for) reconstruction. Although I was never happy with how my reconstructed breasts looked, the bigger issue was how physically uncomfortable I was. In 2013 I met with a new plastic surgeon who confidently let me know that he could improve on the look and feel of my breasts and I underwent another surgery. Moving toward 2019 I was once again feeling tightness and "pulling" that was becoming more and more difficult to tolerate. The appearance of my breasts had improved from the initial reconstruction, yet I still suffered from body shame and always felt as though I had been "mutilated" and look "damaged" as a result of my previous surgeries. I never thought my breasts look natural in any way and I had no idea that they ever could. And then I met Dr Stern. I sought her out for only one reason...to see if she could help ease my discomfort. Dr Stern was confident that she could provide relief and I scheduled yet another surgery. Here I am 6 weeks post op, and even though I'm still healing I am already feeling more physical comfort. What I NEVER expected is that Dr Stern would be able to create breasts that I can see (for the very fist time since 2010) as BEAUTIFUL! They feel natural, are finally the right shape and size for my small frame, feel soft, are symmetrical, and even her incisions/my scars don't look bad to me. I feel like a woman again and literally cry every time I even think about how much I suffered emotionally over the past 9 years. Dr. Stern was extremely thorough throughout the pre op, surgery and post op procedure. My results are amazing and I could not be happier. I will be going back for another surgery next summer. Hands down the best!

I knew as a teenager that I didn’t look the same as my peers. When I turned 18, I went to every plastic surgeon in Miami, Fl. looking to correct my appearance. I got everything from “you’d have to be born again” to “ you are deformed”. I am a very private person and putting myself out there was extremely difficult and those experiences made me feel less of a woman and extremely hurt. Most times I’d walk out with tears in my eyes and nurses trying to console me. 14 years ago I finally met a team of doctors that took my case and gave it a name. Due to arrested development caused by a lack of progesterone, my breast tissue did not develop appropriately. My congenital condition is called Tuberous Breast Deformity (TBD). They told me that a percentage of women suffered from this affliction and that they had performed this surgery numerous times. I was told by one of the doctors that I would look like a Brazilian dancer. I was relieved and anxious to feel feminine and beautiful. I emphasized repeatedly that I wanted SHAPE not size. I went into surgery feeling hopeful. When I went to my posts op appointment and the doctors removed the bandages, I was upset and extremely disappointed. I had 370cc placed in my petite 5’1” frame. They told me that they had to go that big to correct the problem and that in a years time, everything would look fantastic. I went home and cried and wished I’d never met those doctors. They told me what I wanted to hear but they didn’t fix the problem! When my skin was relaxed the Tuberous breast were sitting on top of these giant implants. This Christmas, as I was getting ready for a family gathering, I noticed that my right breast didn’t feel right. I looked in the mirror and realized the right implant had ruptured. I panicked and called my doctor and left a message with the answering service. No one called me back. I then called a friend who I knew had implants done in Asheville and she gave me Dr. Stern’s number. I called her office but didn’t hear back from them until Dec. 27th. That day they told me I’d have to wait until March 27th to see Dr. Stern. I started crying and they told me to set the appointment for that date and assured me she would do everything in her power to get me an appointment sooner. No more than 30min later she called back and asked if I could be there by 4:00pm. Dr. Stern was kind. She listened to my story and then examined me. She asked me what I wanted and I once again said SHAPE, not size please. She took the time to explain what reconstructive procedure I would need and explained that depending on the amount of tissue removed in order to have shape I would need another implant. We looked at sizes much better proportioned to my body and she scheduled my surgery for that Friday. From first contact with Dr. Stern’s office I felt so much care. From the receptionist to the nursing staff to the office manager. Everyone went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and that my needs were being met. The day of surgery my family and I were greeted by the sweetest nurse. She went through all my information and made sure all questions were answered and reassured my family they’d take good care of me. From there the process was tactfully coordinated to make sure I was at easy and comfortable. Today I went to my post op appointment with Dr. Stern and I cried. This time they were tears of joy, I finally looked the way I thought I should. With tape and bruising and swelling I could see the major difference. The Tuberous Breast Deformity was gone. I traveled from Hawaii to Asheville, NC to meet Dr stern who is by far one of the nicest doctors I've met! She listens to everything you want & makes very good judgements. I felt most comfortable knowing I would have a female surgeon & female nurses around while under anesthesia. During my breast & rhinoplasty surgery she explained step by step what was going to happen, and had nurses at my side at all times. I was not scared at all, she held my hand and rubbed it until I knocked out from anesthesia. So far everything looks great, I'm very happy. My breasts are the perfect size for my body very soft natural and so amazing, my nose is still changing it’s shape but I noticed changes immediately after getting the cast removed. Dr. Stern performed a breast implant revision and lift. I had 2 previous breast surgeries before this one. I had to go through 3 plastic surgeons, 3 surgeries, across 2 states, 3 cities, and 23 years to find the doctor who could FINALLY get my breast augmentation right! She listened! From the first time I met Dr. Stern, I knew that I found the Doctor to do my Cosmetic procedure. I found her very confident, compassionate, I trusted her opinion of what she recommended for me. After surgery was completed, I was very happy of how my face looked and a natural look. I had a face lift and upper eyelids and lowers. I would recommend her and I would use her again.

From the minute I met Dr. Stern I felt immediately comfortable and confident in her abilities. I wouldn't hesitate to refer others to her. I am 100% pleased with the results of my surgery.

My experience with Dr. Stern was incredible. Everyone from the staff who schedule her appointments to the nurses in the OR were extremely nice and friendly. Dr. Stern herself is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She clearly cares deeply about the work that she does and that translates into a great patient experience. Had a breast augmentation with Dr. Stern. She is a great doctor! I have zero complaints about my experience. Staff was wonderful. I am so happy with my results. Office visits prior were very helpful in answering questions, and she made choosing sizing very easy. Surgery day was not scary at all, due to the staff, and the nice surgical center attached to the building. Had very little pain post-op. Made sure I was compliant with resting, massages, etc, and six weeks out, they look great.

Perfect!! I highly recommend Dr. Stern. She is amazing. I recently had my breast implants removed and received a lift. Dr. Sterns' team of nurses are caring and compassionate, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Stern answered every single question I had before surgery and was very attentive to my concerns. I am over the moon happy with my results, I can't say enough about Dr. Stern, her team and overall experience. Simply THE BEST!!

This is the BEST care I have ever received from a medical provider. All of Dr. Stern's staff is incredible from Lucinda-patient coordinator, the nursing staff and of course Dr. Stern herself.

Dr. Stern is the consummate professional. She listens carefully and her recommendations are very accurate. She replaced my breast implants for smaller ones. I can't praise her staff enough for their care and expertise. The outcome was better than I could hope for. There was minimal pain from the moment I got home and no complications. I recommend her highly.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Stern and her incomparable team----definitely an assemblage of professional and personable experts. Since this was my first-ever plastic surgery experience (rhytidectomy, blepharoplasty and dermal fillers), I was quite nervous at the prospect, but everyone involved did everything possible to keep me calm and confident throughout and fielded all of my many questions and concerns with grace and patience. The results exceeded all of my expectations in every way!

RESULTS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AND NATURAL!!! If I had any idea that it would go so well, I would not have waited so long! Dr. Stern was very attentive, warm, and down to earth. She has a gentleness that made me feel immediately comfortable and reassured. I arrived with so many questions and concerns and she was so patient and explained everything thoroughly. This service continued after my surgery and I was never made to feel like a nuisance. Thank you Dr. Stern for being such an exceptional surgeon

Dr Stern was very thorough and attentive to what my own concerns were. She explained what she could do, how she would achieve them as well as what else I could expect. Surgery staff was very comforting and gave me individual care during the whole process. My recovery was easier than I expected. If you're having a full facelift & rhinoplasty as I did, take a week off of work. I look 10 years younger but still look like me! Everyone compliments how great I look! I would highly recommend Dr Stern

My experience with Dr.Stern was very satisfying! She performed a breast reduction on me which I am very very pleased with! I would highly recommend Dr.Stern!!!!

I had to have 2 surgeries with Dr. Stern to achieve my goals with Breast Augmentation. She and her staff were tremendous and incredibly genuine. It was a hard pill to swallow that I had to have 2 surgeries, but they truly were amazing and helped me get through them both. After surgery #2 I had to have drains; they were unpleasant, to say the least, but she and her staff were so encouraging and caring; while my journey was long it was 100% worth it. I am forever grateful for them all!! xoxo

To anyone thinking of breast reduction surgery or any other type of plastic surgery, I strongly suggest you make a consultation appointment with Dr. Stern. I experienced total professionalize, support, concern, and a thorough explanation of the procedure that was preformed. Dr. Stern's entire staff exceeded my expectations. I could've returned to work the day after surgery. Dr. Stern's nurse Pam takes care of you like you're one of her own from the moment you walk in. They're worth the wait.

As a family member of someone that Dr. Stern has done surgery for I would like to express how impressed I was with the care my mother received. After seeing the results, I fully trust Dr. Stern and her staff if i ever needed surgery.

Dr. Stern and her staff took the time to listen! Cosmetic surgery is an expense and a significant decision. I was made to feel comfortable and questions were encouraged. My concerns were answered with clinical expertise, compassion and, when appropriate, a shared sense of humor. The surgical experience (my first, of any kind) was easier than I could have imagined. Very friendly, love her as a person! Would not recommend as a plastic surgeon however. Had issues with implants being incredibly saggy/low immediately after surgery and tons of ripples everywhere (also had a LIFT, was a B/C to begin with, no kids, not overweight or etc!!). Went back to office numerous times thereafter with concernns. Was not happy whatsoever, definitely should not have been like this just days after surgery. Concerns essentially disregarded.
